All about Messiah and His Blood for Atonement
Shabbat Shalom
Let’s pray
Today we use the Gregorian
calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s
Today is October 9, 2019 -
in the 21 Century
October -- the eighth
month (now the 10th month)
Middle
English octobre
Latin October
Latin octo
"eight" + -ber (adj. suffix)
Latin october mensis
"eighth month"
October has always had 31
days.
Yehovah has His own calendar:
A day of atonement: יוֹם
הַכִּפֻּרִים
We are now in the 7th month called “ha Ethanim, 10th day”
Here is one simple verse below to
prove it is the 7th month not New Year, Rosh Hashanah, 5780, and it is called ha Ethanim not Tishrei, which is not found in the
Hebrew Bible.
1 Kgs.8 [2] And all the men of Israel
assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.
Exod.23 [16] … and the feast of ingathering, which is in (at, going to) the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of
the field
These verses above prove: It is not New Year nor head of the year, Rosh ha Shannah nor when the world was created nor Adam’s birthday. This is all made up in Judaism.
Judaism, Karaites and some Messianics are
wrong!
Always check everything!
Ha Ethanim = “enduring” - the permanent brooks, water
הָאֵתָנִים - ha Ethanim
הָ Ha, the (the definite article)
אֵ
aleph (first letter in Hebrew alphabet)
תָ
tov
(last letter in Hebrew alphabet)
נִים neem permanent brooks
הָאֵתָנִים - ha Ethanim always has the
definite article ha, the, which
means the permanent brooks, water
איתן eythan - perpetual, constant, perennial, ever-flowing, ever-flowing (of a stream), permanence, permanent, enduring – water
אֵיתָן From an unused root (meaning to
continue); permanence; hence (concretely) permanent; specifically a chieftain: - hard,
mighty, rough, strength, strong.
Ethan, the name of a few Israelites, here is one:
1Chr.15 [19] …So the
singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to
sound with cymbals of brass
The fountain
מָקוֹר maqowr {maw-kore'} or מָקֹר maqor {maw-kore'}
One Meaning:
a spring, fountain, of source of life,
joy, purification (fig.)
Messiah is the Living waters מַיִם חַיִּים
Jer. 2 [13] For my
people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns,
that can hold no water.
Jer. 17 [13] Yehovah, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and
they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have
forsaken Yehovah, the fountain of living waters .
Today’s Topic:
A day of atonement: יוֹם
הַכִּפֻּרִים
כֹּפֶר kopher {ko'-fer} Meaning: price
of a life, ransom
Fasting and good deeds have NOTHING to do with Redemption, Atonement.
You Need the Blood
We now have Sin, Atonement,
Forgiveness – all through Yeshua the Messiah and His blood forever!
We are rehearsing these days
as a shadow of things to come
A Day,
but NO Atonement if
you don't have the Messiah and His shed Blood
Rabbinical Judaism has
tried to replace "the Blood Sacrifice" with fasting.
Judaism never talks about the "blood' that is needed on Yom Kippur, day of atonement.
Judaism says they need the temple, neither Moses
nor David had the "Temple", this is not a requirement for a day of atonement
Solomon built the 1st Temple.
Since 1948, there is a State of Israel again. They
are not in captivity any more.
Messiah already came to earth, died, and rose
again.
The "BLOOD"
is still required.
However, now it is the
BLOOD of Messiah Yeshua that is needed!
הַדָּם
Let’s read:
Exod.30 [10] And Aaron shall make an atonement upon the
horns of it once in a year with the BLOOD of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement upon it
throughout your generations: it is most holy unto Yehovah.
Lev.16
[15] Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the
people, and bring his BLOOD
within the vail, and do with that BLOOD as he
did with the BLOOD of the bullock, and
sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:
[18] And he shall go out unto the altar that is before Yehovah, and make an atonement for it; and shall take of the
BLOOD of the bullock, and of the BLOOD of the goat, and put it upon the horns of
the altar round about.
[19] And he shall sprinkle of the BLOOD
upon it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and hallow it from the
uncleanness of the children of Israel.
[27] And the bullock for the sin offering, and the goat for the
sin offering, whose BLOOD was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, shall one carry
forth without the camp; and they shall burn in the fire their skins, and their
flesh, and their dung.
[34] And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as Yehovah commanded Moses
-----------------
If one of the requirements was to fast (tsom, tsum), on the Day of Atonement, why
simply did not Yehovah tell us?
The word "fast" - tsum, tsom is not
found in the Torah.
צם
צום tsôm tsome - a fast, fast (-ing).
The verses below are 100's of years after Exodus.
Some people try to use these verses for the Day of
Atonement.
The verses below have nothing to do with the Day of
Atonement:
Pss.35 [13], Pss.69 [10], Ezra.8 [21], and Isa.58 [3]
"Afflict" is never used as the word "fast"

oneself, to be afflicted, oppress, humble, be afflicted, be bowed down, abase,

[27] Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: יוֹם

your souls,

and offer
an offering made by fire unto Yehovah.
[28] And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a
day of atonement, to make an atonement for you
before Yehovah your God.
[29] For whatsoever soul it be
that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among
his people.
[30] And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that
same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
[31] Ye shall do no manner of work: it
shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
[32] It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day
of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.
Num. 29[7] And ye shall have on
the tenth day of this seventh month
an holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your
souls: ye shall not do any work therein.
Holy convocation מִקְרָא-קֹדֶשׁ
[8] But ye shall offer a burnt offering
unto Yehovah for a sweet savour; one young bullock, one ram, and seven lambs of the first
year; they shall be unto you without blemish:[9] And their meat offering shall
be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals to a bullock, and two tenth
deals to one ram,[10] A several tenth deal for one lamb, throughout the seven
lambs:[11] One kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the sin offering of

Let’s compare scripture and show shadows of Messiah
Lev.16 [7] And he shall take the
two goats, and present them before Yehovah at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. [8] And
Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for Yehovah, and the other lot for the scapegoat.
[9] And Aaron shall bring the goatשָּׂעִיר upon which Yehovah's lot

Isa.53 [10] Yet it pleased Yehovah to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his
soul an offering for sin, he shall see his
seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of Yehovah shall prosper in his hand.
Lev.16[21] And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the
live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities
of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins,
putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by
the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:
[22] And the goat shall bear upon him
all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in
the wilderness.
Isa.53 [11] He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be
satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
Isa.53[12] Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and
he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul
unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the
transgressors.
Lev.16[10] But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat,
shall be presented alive before Yehovah, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a
scapegoat into the wilderness.[11] And Aaron shall bring the bullock of the sin
offering, which is for himself, and shall make an atonement for himself, and
for his house, and shall kill the bullock of the sin offering which is for himself:[12]
And he shall take a censer full of

bring it within the vail:

Heb.10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the
holiest by the blood of Yeshua,[20]
By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil,
that is to say, his flesh ;[21] And having an high priest over the house of
God;[22] Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having
our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure

[14] And he shall take of the blood of

before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the

[15] Then shall he kill the goat of the

that is for the people, and bring his blood

Book of Hebrews is correct!
Heb.9[1] Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of
divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.[2] For there was a tabernacle made;
the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.[3]
And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of
all;[4] Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the
covenant overlaid round about with
gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded,
and the tables of the covenant;[5] And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.[6] Now when
these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first
tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.[7]
But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without
blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:[8]
The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not
yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:[9] Which was
a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and
sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining
to the conscience;[10] Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers
washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation
Heb.12[24] And to Yeshua the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
Isa.52 [15] So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut
their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and
that which they had not heard shall they consider.)
Lev.16 [16] And he shall make an
atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of
Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he
do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.
[17] And there shall be no man in the
tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come
out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all
the congregation of Israel.
[18] And he shall go out unto the altar
that is before Yehovah, and
make an
atonement for it; and shall take of the blood of
the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the
altar round about.
[19] And he
shall sprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger seven times, and
cleanse it, and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.
[20] And when he hath made an end of
reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the
altar, he shall bring the live goat:
[21] And Aaron shall lay both his hands
upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the
children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting

man into the wilderness:
[22] And the goat shall bear upon him
all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in
the wilderness.
[23] And Aaron shall come into the
tabernacle of the congregation, and shall put off the linen garments, which he
put on when he went into the holy place, and shall leave them there:
[24] And he shall wash his flesh with
water in the holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his
burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself, and for the people.
Heb.7 [27] Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice,
first for his own sins, and then for the people's:
for this he did once, when he offered up Himself.
Heb.10 [12] But this man, after he had offered
one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down
on the right hand of God;
[14] For by one offering he hath
perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
Lev.16 [25] And the fat of the sin
offering shall he burn upon the altar.
[26] And he that let go the goat for
the scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and
afterward come into the camp.
[27] And the bullock for the sin
offering, and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make
atonement in the holy place, shall one carry forth
without the camp; and they shall burn in the fire their skins, and
their flesh, and their dung.
Heb.13 [12] Wherefore Yeshua / Yeshua also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood,
suffered without the gate.
Lev.16 [28] And he that burneth them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water,
and afterward he shall come into the camp.
[29] And this shall be a statute for
ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye
shall afflict your souls, and do no
work at all, whether it be one of your own
country, or a stranger that sojourneth among

Heb.2 [9] But we see Yeshua, who was made a little lower than the angels for the
suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should
taste death for every man.
Heb.4 [15] For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with
the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are,
yet without sin.
Heb.7 [25] Wherefore he is
able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he
ever liveth to make intercession for them
Pss.8 [4] What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man , (Messiah) that thou visitest him? 5 ] For thou hast made him (Messiah) a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned
him (Messiah) with glory and honour.[6 ] Thou madest him (Messiah) to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast
put all things under his (Messiah) feet:[ 7] All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts
of the field;[8 ] The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and
whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
The Blood of the sacrifice was to be the most important feature of the Day of
Atonement.
NOTHING can
change this!
Nothing can be
a substitute for the obligatory sacrifice that God gave Moses, which was a "pattern", "a shadow" of Messiah’s
blood scarifice.
The Blood of the Messiah is shed for
sin atonement
Over 50 references of a man are made
in this chapter.
Isa. 53
[1] Who hath believed our report? and to whom is The Arm of Yehovah revealed?
[2] For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root
out of a dry ground: He hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see Him, there is no
beauty that we should desire Him.
[3] He is despised and rejected
of men; a man of sorrows, and
acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was
despised, and we esteemed Him not.
[4] Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten
of God, and afflicted.
[5] But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our
peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are
healed.
[6] All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned
everyone to his own way; and Yehovah hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
[7] He was oppressed, and
He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth: He is brought as a
lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He openeth not his mouth.
[8] He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare
His generation?
for He was cut off out of the land of the living: for the
transgression of my people was He stricken.
[9] And He made His grave with the wicked, and with the rich in His death;
because He
had done no violence, neither was any deceit in His mouth.
[10] Yet it pleased Yehovah to bruise Him; he hath put Him to grief: when thou shalt make His soul an
offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of Yehovah shall prosper in
His hand.
[11] He shall see of the travail of His soul, and shall be
satisfied: by His knowledge shall My righteous servant justify many; for He shall bear their
iniquities.
[12] Therefore will I divide Him a portion with the
great, and He
shall divide the spoil with the strong;
because He hath poured out His soul unto death:
and He was numbered with
the transgressors;
and He bare the sin of many, and made
intercession for the transgressors.
Hebrew grammar is very involved
In Hebrew grammar, it is very important to understand the
verb system in form, function and meaning.
In the Hebrew Bible, there are just over 23,000 verses.
In the midst of these verses are found almost 72,000
verbs. There are approximately 3 verbs to a verse. Verbs contain person, gender
and number.
The Qal is the basic verbal stem.
There are six derived conjugations which are constructed
on the verbal root.
In this chapter 53, the Niphal stem with the (3ms ) (3rd person, masculine, singular) form is
applied in many verses.
The context of a sentence is very important to watch. Some
words take on different meanings pertaining to the sentence structure.
Judaism says this chapter is talking about Israel - Just remember, Israel cannot die for the sins of Israel
