 Let’s pray

--------------------------------

Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s.

Today is September 17th 2013

----------------------------------------------------

Yehovah has His own calendar

We are now in the 7th month called ha Ethanim – 10th day

הָ אֵ תָ נִים

The alef and tav, first and last (forever)

Ha Ethanim = “enduring” - the permanent brooks

הָאֵתָנִים ha Ethanim - Always with the article ha, the - permanent brooks;

Ethanim = enduring - seventh month, corresponding end of Sept, Oct. - so named because permanent streams still flowed - plural of H386 below:

H386איתן  eythan - perpetual, constant, perennial, ever-flowing, ever-flowing (of a stream), permanence, permanent, enduring (figuratively)

Most people have never heard of ha Ethanim from scripture, they are brainwashed by Judaism to say Tishri which is nowhere in scripture.

Tishri and the made up Rosh Hashanah (New Years) are from the pagan Babylonian influence that came upon the Jews at that time.

The adoption of some of the Babylonian month names come from the Talmud, Rosh Hashanah.

Here is the verse for ha ethanim:

1Kgs.8[2] And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month ha Ethanim, which is the seventh month.

Today's Topic:

The blood - that covers, atones

Fasting has NOTHING to do with ATONEMENT

Lev.17[11] For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it(the blood) to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

------------

Matt.26 [28]Yeshua said : For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

John.6 [53] Then Yeshua said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

[54] Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

[55] For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

[56] He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

--------------------------

Redeemed, covered, atoned by Messiah blood

Rom.5[9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

1Cor.10[16] The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Messiah? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Messiah?

1Cor.11[25] After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

Eph.1[7] In whom we have redemption through (Messiah) his blood, the forgiveness of sins….

Eph.2[13] But now in Messiah Yeshua ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Messiah.

Col.1[14] In whom we have redemption through (Messiah) his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

[20] And, having made peace through the blood of (Messiah) his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Heb.9[7] But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:

[12] Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

[13] For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:

[14] How much more shall the blood of Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

[18] Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.

[19] For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,

[20] Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.

[21] Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.

[22] And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Heb.9 [24] For Messiah is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
[25] Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
[26] For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world:

but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Heb.10[4] For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

[19] Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Yeshua,

[20] By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
[21] And having an high priest over the house of God;
[22] Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

[28] He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: [29] Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Heb.11[28] Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

Heb.12[24] And to Yeshua the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Heb.13[11] For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

[12] Wherefore Yeshua also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

[20] Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Yeshua, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, [21] Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Yeshua Messiah; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

1Pet.1[2] Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Yeshua Messiah: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

[18] Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; [19] But with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: [20] Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
[21] Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

1John.1[7] But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Yeshua Messiah his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Rev.1[5] And from Yeshua Messiah, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, [6] And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Rev.5[9] And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; [10] And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Rev.7[14] And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Rev.12[11] And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Rev.19[11] And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
[12] His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
[13] And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called

The Word of God

[14] And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
[15] And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
[16] And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written,

KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS

Shadows of Messiah

Messiah in both Blood Covenants

Exod.24[8] And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which Yehovah hath made with you concerning all these words.

Luke.22[20] Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament / covenant in my blood, which is shed for you.

---

Messiah bares the sin (Isa.53:12)

Isa.53[12] Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Messiah, an offering for sin (Isa.53:10)

Isa.53[10] Yet it pleased Yehovah to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of Yehovah shall prosper in his hand.

--------

back to - Lev.16

[6] And Aaron shall offer his bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an atonement for himself, and for his house

[7] And he shall take the two goats, and present them before Yehovah at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

[8] And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for Yehovah, and the other lot for the scapegoat. עֲזָאזֵל scapegoat = Messiah

[9] And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which Yehovah's lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering.

Messiah, an offering for sin (Isa.53:10)

[10] But the goat,שָּׂעִיר  on which the lot גּוֹרָל  fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before Yehovah, to make an atonement כַפֵּר  with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.

Messiah bares the sin (Isa.53:12)

-----------

[11] And Aaron shall bring the bullock פַּר  of the sin offering, חַטָּאת  which is for himself, and shall make an atonement for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bullock of the sin offering which is for himself:

[12] And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before Yehovah, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the vail:

[13] And he shall put the incense upon the fire before Yehovah, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not:[14] And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle הִזָּה  it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward קֵדְמָה ; and before the mercy seat כַּפֹּרֶת  shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times. שֶׁבַע־פְּעָמִים

[15] Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering that is for the people and bring his blood within the vail,פָּרֹכֶת  and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat: הַכַּפֹּרֶת

back to - Lev.16 [16]

And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

[17] And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.

[18] And he shall go out unto the altar that is before Yehovah, and make an atonement for it; and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about.

[19] And he shall sprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.

[20] And when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat:

--------

Messiah bares the sin (Isa.53:12)

[21] And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:

[22] And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.

--------

[23] And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall put off the linen garments, which he put on when he went into the holy place, and shall leave them there:

[24] And he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself, and for the people.

[25] And the fat of the sin offering shall he burn upon the altar.

[26] And he that let go the goat for the scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward come into the camp.

[27] And the bullock for the sin offering, and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, shall one carry forth without the camp; and they shall burn in the fire their skins, and their flesh, and their dung.

[28] And he that burneth them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.

[29] And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict ענה  anah -תְּעַנּוּ  your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country הָאֶזְרָח , or a stranger גֵּר  gare - that sojourneth among you:הָאֶזְרָח, וְהַגֵּר

[30] For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before Yehovah.

[31] It shall be a sabbath of rest unto you, שַׁבַּת שַׁבָּתוֹן הִיא לָכֶם  and ye shall afflict your souls, וְעִנִּיתֶם אֶת־נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶם  by a statute for ever. חֻקַּת, עוֹלָם

[32] And the priest, whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate to minister in the priest's office in his father's stead, shall make the atonement  כִפֶּר , and shall put on the linen clothes, even the holy garments:

[33] And he shall make an atonement  כִפֶּר   for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement כִפֶּר   for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement  כִפֶּר  for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation.

[34] And this shall be an everlasting statute  חֻקַּת עוֹלָם  unto you, to make an atonement כִפֶּר  for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as Yehovah commanded Moses.

Heb.10[3] But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

Lev.23[27] Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah. [28] And ye shall do no work in that same day:

for it is a day of atonement, יוֹם הַכִּפֻּרִים  to make an atonement for you before Yehovah your God.
