New Moon report:
The eight month Bool is coming – Tuesday
evening – Oct. 29, 2019
Today’s Topic:
All the days of your “life”
“Life” is mention in so many ways in
scripture
Here are just a few to think over:
Pss.90 [10]
The days of our years are threescore years and ten 70; and if by
reason of strength they be fourscore years 80, yet is their
strength labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
[12] So teach us to number our days,
that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Ecc. [4]
One generation passeth away, and another
generation cometh: but (it seems like) the earth abideth
for ever.
Gen.2 [7]
And Yehovah God formed man of the dust of the ground,
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man
became a living soul.
Deut.19 [15] One witness shall not rise up against a man
for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth:
at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the
matter be established.
[16] If a false witness rise up
against any man to testify against him that which is wrong;
[17] Then both the men, between whom
the controversy is, shall stand before Yehovah,
before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;
[18] And the judges shall make
diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath
testified falsely against his brother;
[19] Then shall ye do unto him, as he
had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt
thou put the evil away from among you.
[20] And those which remain shall
hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you. [21]
And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go
for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot
Deut
32 [44] And Moses came and spake
all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun.
[45] And Moses made an end of
speaking all these words to all Israel:
[46] And he said unto them, Set your
hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall
command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.[47] For it is not a vain thing for
you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days
in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.
Job.7 [1] Is there not an
appointed time to man upon earth? are not his days
also like the days of an hireling?
[2]
As a servant earnestly desireth the shadow, and as an
hireling looketh for the reward of his work:
[3]
So am I made to possess months of vanity, and wearisome nights are appointed to
me.
[4]
When I lie down, I say, When shall I arise, and the
night be gone? and I am full of tossings
to and fro unto the dawning of the day.
[5]
My flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust; my
skin is broken, and become loathsome.
[6]
My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle, and are spent without hope.
[7] O remember that my life is wind: mine eye shall no more see
good.
[8] The eye of him that hath seen me shall see me no more: thine eyes are upon me, and I am not.
[9]
As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away: so he
that goeth down to the grave shall
come up no more.[10] He shall return no more to his house, neither shall his place
know him any more.
Job.33 [4]
The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty
hath given me life.
Pss.36 [9]
For with Thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
Pss.34 [12] What
man is he that desireth life,
and loveth many days, that he may see good?
[13] Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from
speaking guile.
[14] Depart from evil, and do good;
seek peace, and pursue it.
[15] The eyes of Yehovah
are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
[16] The face of Yehovah
is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the
earth.
Prov.3 [1] My son, forget not my law; but let thine
heart keep my commandments: [2] For length of days, and long life, and
peace, shall they add to thee.
[13] Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth
understanding.
[14] For the merchandise of it is
better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain
thereof than fine gold.
[15] She is more precious than
rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
[16] Length of days is in her right
hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.
[17] Her ways are ways of
pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
[18] She is a tree of life
to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth
her.
[22] So shall they be life
unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.
Prov.4 [10]
Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall
be many.
[13] Take fast hold of
instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
[22] For they are life
unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
[23] Keep thy heart with all
diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Prov.6 [23] For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and
reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
Prov.8 [35] For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour
of Yehovah.
Prov.9 [11] For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy
life shall be increased.
Prov.10 [11] The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but
violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
[16] The labour
of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of
the wicked to sin.
[17] He is in the way of
life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.
Prov.11 [19] As righteousness tendeth to
life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.
[30] The fruit of the
righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth
souls is wise.
Prov.12 [10] A righteous man regardeth the
life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
[28] In the way of
righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.
Prov.13 [3] He
that keepeth his mouth keepeth
his life: but he that openeth wide his lips
shall have destruction.
[8] The ransom of a man's
life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.
[12] Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a
tree of life.
[14] The law of the wise is a
fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
Prov.14 [27] The fear of Yehovah is a fountain
of life, to depart from the snares of death.
[30] A sound heart is the
life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.
Prov.15 [4] A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but
perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.
[24] The way of life is
above to the wise, that he may depart from hell
beneath.
[31] The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth
among the wise.
Prov.16 [15]
In the light of the king's countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.
[22] Understanding is a
wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools
is folly.
Prov.18 [21]
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it
shall eat the fruit thereof.
Prov.19 [23] The fear of Yehovah tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide
satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.
Prov.21 [21]
He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.
Prov.22 [4] By humility and the fear of Yehovah
are riches, and honour, and life.
Ecc.3 [12] I
know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. [13] And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of
all his labour, it is the gift of God.
Ecc.6 [12] For who knoweth what is good for
man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can
tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?
Ecc.7 [12] For wisdom is a defence, and money
is a defence: but the excellency
of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to
them that have it.
[15] All things have I seen in
the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth
in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth
his life in his wickedness.
Ecc.8 [10] And so I saw the
wicked buried, who had come and gone from the place of the holy, and they were
forgotten in the city where they had so done: this is also vanity.
[15] … I commended mirth,
because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink,
and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour
the days of his life, which God giveth him
under the sun.
Ecc.9 [9]
Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the
days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun,
all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in
thy labour which thou takest
under the sun.
Yeshua
said:
Matt.6 [25]
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye
shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than
meat, and the body than raiment?
[26] Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not,
neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
[27] Which of you by taking thought
can add one cubit unto his stature?
[28] And why take ye thought for
raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not,
neither do they spin:
[29] And yet I say unto you, That
even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
[30] Wherefore, if God so clothe the
grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more
clothe you, O ye of little faith?
[31] Therefore take no thought,
saying, What shall we eat? or,
What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be
clothed?
[32] (For after all these things do
the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
[33] But seek ye first the kingdom of
God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
[34] Take therefore no thought for
the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.
Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Matt.7 [13] Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the
way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be
which go in thereat:[14] Because strait is
the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto
life, and few there be that find it.
Matt.10 [29] Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your
Father.
[30]
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
[31]
Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many
sparrows.
[32]
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before
my Father which is in heaven.
[33]
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father
which is in heaven.
[34]
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but
a sword.
[35]
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter
against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
[36]
And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
[37]
He that loveth father or mother more than me is not
worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more
than me is not worthy of me.
[38]
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
[39] He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
Matt.16 [24] Then said Yeshua unto his disciples, If any man will come after me,
let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
[25]
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his
life for my sake shall find it.
[26]
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own
soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his
soul?
Matt.18 [8]
Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut
them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life
halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into
everlasting fire.[9] And if thine
eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to
enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast
into hell fire.
Matt.19[16]
And, behold, one came and said unto Yeshua, Good
Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?[17]
And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt
enter into life, keep the commandments.
[18] He saith unto him, Which?
Yeshua said, Thou shalt do
no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not
bear false witness,
[19]
Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as
thyself.
[20]
The young man saith unto him, All
these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
[21]
Yeshua said unto him, If
thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and
thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and
follow me.
[22]
But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had
great possessions.
[23]
Then said Yeshua unto his disciples, Verily I say
unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the
kingdom of heaven.
[24]
And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to
go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom
of God.
[25]
When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
[26]
But Yeshua beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are
possible.
[27]
Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and
followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
[28]
And Yeshua said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the
Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve
thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
[29]
And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or
mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
[30]
But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.
Matt.20 [25] But Yeshua called
them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of
the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise
authority upon them.
[26]
But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let
him be your minister;
[27]
And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
[28] Even as the Son of man came not to be
ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for
many.
Matt.25 [1] Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened
unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the
bridegroom.
[2]
And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
[3]
They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
[4]
But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
[5]
While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
[6]
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out
to meet him.
[7]
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
[8]
And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your
oil; for our lamps are gone out.
[9]
But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be
not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for
yourselves.
[10]
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went
in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
[11]
Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
[12]
But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
[13]
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of
man cometh.
[14]
For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called
his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
[15]
And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every
man according to his several ability; and straightway
took his journey.
[16]
Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and
made them other five talents.
[17]
And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
[18]
But he that had received one went and digged in the
earth, and hid his lord's money.
[19]
After a long time Yehovah of those servants cometh,
and reckoneth with them.
[20]
And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents,
saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents:
behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
[21]
His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and
faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy
lord.
[22]
He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two
other talents beside them.
[23]
His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful
servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy
lord.
[24]
Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not
sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
[25]
And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast
that is thine.
[26]
His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I
have not strawed:
[27]
Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the
exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
[28]
Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten
talents.
[29]
For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but
from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
[30]
And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be
weeping and gnashing of teeth.
[31]
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him,
then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
[32]
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one
from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from
the goats:
[33]
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
[34]
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my
Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
[35]
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was
thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
[36]
Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and
ye came unto me.
[37]
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
[38]
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or
naked, and clothed thee?
[39]
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
[40]
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as
ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it
unto me.
[41]
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed,
into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
[42]
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was
thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
[43]
I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick,
and in prison, and ye visited me not.
[44]
Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a
stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
[45]
Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto
you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to
me.
John.1 [1] In the beginning was
the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
[2]
The same was in the beginning with God.
[3]
All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any
thing made that was made.
[4]
In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.
[5]
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness
comprehended it not.
[10] He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew
Him not.
[14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His
glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and
truth.
John.3 [14] And as Moses lifted up
the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: [15] That
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
[16] For God so loved the world, that he
gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
[36] He that believeth on the Son hath
everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see
life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
John.4 [13] Yeshua answered and
said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall
thirst again:
[14] But whosoever drinketh of the water that
I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall
be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
[35] Say not ye, There are yet four months, and
then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up
your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.[36] And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that
soweth and he that reapeth
may rejoice together.
John.5 [23] … all men should honour
the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth
not the Father which hath sent him.
[24]
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my
word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not
come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
[25]
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming,
and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that
hear shall live.
[26]
For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have
life in himself;
[27]
And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of
man.
[28]
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the
graves shall hear his voice,
[29]
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life;
and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
John.6 [27] Labour not for the meat which perisheth,
but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting
life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father
sealed.
[33] For the bread of God is he which
cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto
the world.
[35] And Yeshua
said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never
hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
[38] For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of
him that sent me.
[39]
And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath
given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
[40]
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting
life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
[47] Verily, verily, I say unto you, He
that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
[48] I am that bread of life.[49] Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness,
and are dead.
[50]
This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof,
and not die.
[51]
I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man
eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and
the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the
world.
[52]
The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How
can this man give us his flesh to eat?
[53]
Then Yeshua said unto them, Verily, verily, I say
unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man,
and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
[54]
Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh
my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
[55]
For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
[56]
He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh
my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
[57]
As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
[58]
This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat
manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread
shall live for ever.
John.8 [12] Then spake Yeshua
again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in
John.10 [6] This parable spake Yeshua unto them: but they
understood not what things they were which he spake
unto them.
[7]
Then said Yeshua unto them again, Verily,
verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
[8]
All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not
hear them.
[9]
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be
saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
[10]
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come
that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
[11]
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his
life for the sheep.
[12]
But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd,
whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming,
and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth:
and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth
the sheep.
[13]
The hireling fleeth, because he is an
hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
[14]
I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
[15]
As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father:
and I lay down my life for the sheep.
[16]
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and
they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
[17]
Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take
it again.
[18]
No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of
myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This
commandment have I received of my Father.
John.11 [25] Yeshua said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the
life: he that believeth in me, though he were
dead, yet shall he live: [26] And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
John.12 [25] He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto
life eternal.
John.13 [37] Peter said
unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life
for thy sake.[38] Yeshua
answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I
say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast
denied me thrice.
John.14 [6] Yeshua saith unto Thomas I am the way, the truth,
and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John.15 [13] Greater love
hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life
for his friends.
A
prayer of Yeshua for all of His people for all time:
John.17 [1] These words spake Yeshua, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father,
the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
[2]
As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life
to as many as thou hast given him.
[3]
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Yeshua Messiah, whom thou hast sent.
[4]
I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
[5]
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own
self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
[6]
I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest
me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
[7]
Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
[8]
For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest
me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from
thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
[9]
I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given
me; for they are thine.
[10]
And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am
glorified in them.
[11]
And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to
thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those
whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we
are.
[12]
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of
them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
[13]
And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in
the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
[14]
I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not
of the world, even as I am not of the world.
[15]
I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the
world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the
evil.
[16]
They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
[17]
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
[18]
As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
[19]
And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified
through the truth.
[20]
Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me
through their word;
[21]
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they
also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
[22]
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them;
that they may be one, even as we are one:
[23]
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the
world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved
me.
[24]
Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am;
that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
[25]
O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and
these have known that thou hast sent me.
[26]
And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love
wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
John.20 [30] And many other signs truly did Yeshua
in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book:
[31] But these are written, that ye
might believe that Yeshua is the Messiah, the Son of
God; and that believing ye might have life through His name.
