Shabbat Shalom

Today we use the Gregorian calendar

(From Pope Gregory, from the 1500's) – Feb. 27th, 2010

-------------

However, God has His own calendar

12th month called Adar, 12th day

Esth. 3 [7] In the first month, that is, the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar.

Question:

Why are we here today?

Answer:

We were told to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

----------

The 4th Commandment is a part of the covenant given to us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan

We read from law and the prophets every Sabbath.

60 times in the Gospels and letters it uses the word Sabbath

Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

æëø

zâkar - zaw-kar' - A primitive root; properly to mark (so as to be recognized), that is, to remember; by implication to mention; make mention of, be mindful, recount, record (-er), remember, make to be remembered, bring (call, come, keep, put) to (in) remembrance, still, think on, well.

-----

Back to Ex. 20

[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Rev.1 [10] I was in the Spirit on Yehovah's Day - (The Sabbath)

------------

Lev. 23 [3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an "holy convocation"; ye shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.

The Sabbath is a "holy convocation"

î÷øà  miqra: convocation, convoking, reading, a calling together, sacred assembly, something called out, that is, a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the place); also a rehearsal

÷ãùÑ  kodesh: a sacred place or thing; consecrated, dedicated, hallowed, holiness, saint, sanctuary, apartness, sacredness, separateness, apartness, sacredness, holiness

Iran, Syria mock U.S. policy; Ahmadinejad speaks of Israel's 'annihilation'

JERUSALEM -- The presidents of Iran and Syria on Thursday ridiculed U.S. policy in the region and pledged to create a Middle East "without Zionists,"

Ahmadinejad, a Holocaust denier, spoke of Israel's eventual "demise and annihilation" and said the countries of the region could create a future "without Zionists and without colonialists."

***Remember: Monday is Purim; we will be reading the book of Esther

--------

Let’s talk about the 12th month, Adar again

Adar àÂãÈø

à  - first letter in the Hebrew alphabet and is " hidden or silent "

ãÈø  means to dwell, live

I can see by this word Adar, when broken down, it can convey a message that the invisible God wants to dwell among us and in us.

----------------

The invisible God makes invisible things

Col. 1

[15] Yeshua - Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

[16] For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

-------------

1 Tim. 1

[17] Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

-------------

Heb. 11

[27] By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

-------------

Rom. 1

[20] For the invisible things (darkness, night and light, day) of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made (the lesser light, to rule the night and the greater light, to rule the day), even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

------------

Job says: 9 [11] Lo, He goeth by me, and I see him not: he passeth on also, but I perceive him not.

-------------

Adar means: to expand, that is, be great or (figuratively) magnificent: - (become) glorious, honorable, also a cloak

ExpectNew Beginnings”, a good day!

Today’s Topic: As the days of Noah were...

Matt. 24 [37] But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

[38] For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

[39] And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

-----------------

Luke 17 [26] And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

[27] They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
-----------------

1 Pet. 3 [20] Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

John 1

[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
[2] The same was in the beginning with God.
[3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

[4] In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
[5] And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
[6] There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
[7] The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
[8] He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
[9] That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
[10] He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
[11] He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
[12] But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
[13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
[14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

[12] Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
[13] Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
[14] In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

[15] Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
[16] For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

[17] And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

[18] And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
[19] For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

[20] And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Gen. 7 [6] And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.

[7] And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
[8] Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
[9] There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.
[10] And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.

Nisan 29 or 30 days plus 17 days

45 days - or 46 days

the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

[12] And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

Jubile - “Freedom, Liberty”

When will be the last Jubile? This is like saying, when will Messiah come again?

These questions and dates about this topic never end.

Should we follow these men and these books below when they all disagree? No!

Josephus, the Maccabees, the Talmud, Rambam, Rabbenu Tam and others missed the Messiah in the Hebrew scriptures who came the first time and is coming again soon. The answers are in the Word of God.

We see an indirect forecast - Shadows of Messiah

It seems, the year of jubile pertains to the Messiah's first and second comings.

The Messiah, freedom from sin, Proclaim liberty, the Jubile, the “Day of Atonement”, the Sabbatical year, and the trumpet sound are all involved in the end time equation.

--------------------

Sabbatical year

Lev. 25 - read the whole chapter

[1] And Yehovah spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying, [ 2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto Yehovah. [3] Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;[4 ] But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for Yehovah: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard. [ 5] That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.[6 ] And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee,[7] And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.

[8] And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.

[9] Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the Day of Atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

[10] And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

[11] A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.

-----------------

The year of jubile

Lev. 25 [11] A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you:

[12] For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.
[13] In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession.
[14] And if thou sell ought unto thy neighbour, or buyest ought of thy neighbour's hand, ye shall not oppress one another:
[15] According to the number of years after the jubile thou shalt buy of thy neighbour, and according unto the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto thee:
[16] According to the multitude of years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish the price of it: for according to the number of the years of the fruits doth he sell unto thee.
[17] Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am Yehovah your God.
[18] Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.

------------------------

Proclaim liberty

Lev. 25 [10] And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

Plurality of God

Spirit - Of  Yehovah - is upon Me, the Messiah

øåÌçÇ àÂãÉðÈé éÀäåÄä, òÈìÈé

Isa. 61 - read the whole chapter - [1] The Spirit of the Yehovah is upon me ; because Yehovah hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;[2 ] To proclaim the acceptable year of Yehovah, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
[3] To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness ; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Yehovah, that he might be glorified.

[4] And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
[5] And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
[6] But ye shall be named the Priests of Yehovah: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
[7] For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

[8] For I Yehovah love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
[9] And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which Yehovah hath blessed.

[10] I will greatly rejoice in Yehovah, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

[11] For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so Yehovah GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

The acceptable year of Yehovah

Luke 4 [14] And Yeshua returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.[15 ] And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.[ 16] And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.[17] And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, (Isa. 61:1-2 above)

[18] The Spirit of Yehovah is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, [19] To preach the acceptable year of Yehovah. [20] And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
[21] And he began to say unto them,

"This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears."

Yeshua bring liberty, freedom from sin, to whosoever will receive Him

-----------------

Anti-missionaries say Luke changed the scripture. He did not.

Yeshua quoted the scripture in depths. He is the Word!

Luke 4 [16] And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.[ 17] And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
[18] The Spirit of Yehovah is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, [19] To preach the acceptable year of Yehovah.
[20] And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.[21 ] And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

Isa. 61: [1] The Spirit of Yehovah GOD is upon me; because Yehovah hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound ôÌÀ÷Çç ÷åÉçÇ

[2] To proclaim the acceptable year of Yehovah, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;[3] To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Yehovah, that he might be glorified.

In Hebrew lexicons, paqach -ôÌÀ÷Çç  - to open, especially the eyes

Check your Strong's #6491, #6493 & and #6495 which has many meanings.

BDB Definition: opening (of eyes), wide

----------

The Septuagint was not used by Yeshua. Yeshua quoted the Hebrew correctly. Anti-missionaries are wrong.

Yeshua said:

Matt. 5 [18] For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot. (Heb. letter Yod ) or one tittle, (possible grammar mark) shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. This is clearly the Hebrew text, not the Greek LXX.

--------------------

Proclaim liberty only to those who can receive it

Luke 4
[22 ] And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?
[23] And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.
[24] And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.
[25] But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;
[26] But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.
[27] And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.

They did not receive Him , therefore they are still in bondage, no liberty, still in sin!

Luke 4 [28 ] And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,
[29] And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.

[30] But he passing through the midst of them went his way,

[31] And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.
[32] And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.

Misc. verses

Jer. 34 [8] This is the word that came unto Jeremiah from Yehovah, after that the king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people which were at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty unto them;

[15] And ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name: [16 ] But ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom ye had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids. [17 ] Therefore thus saith Yehovah; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty , every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith Yehovah, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

[21] But the field, when it goeth out in the jubile , shall be holy unto Yehovah, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest's.

[23] Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto Yehovah.[ 24] In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land did belong.
