Judaism calls this month Elul. We can not verify this by the Hebrew Scriptures.

No name in scripture for the 6th month. ( end of August / September )

*****reminder: Learn not the way of the heathen ( pagan feasts are coming )

Jer.10[ 2] Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen , and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. [3 ] the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. [ 4] They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

In the last 3 weeks, I have presented these basic questions below, from the scriptures, to pastors and so-called christians. Very few people knew any of the answers, no one is studing the Word nor proving all things as we are commanded.

Deuteronomy 6:6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart : 7: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 8: And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. 9: And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth ; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Proverbs 15:28: The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.

1 Thessalonians 5:21: Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God , a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Acts 17: [23] For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD ( like most churches and synagogues) . Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

[24] God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

[25] Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

[26] And hath made of "one blood all nations of men" for to dwell on all the face of the earth , and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

[27] That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

[28] For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Ecc. 3 [19 ] For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
