Shabbat Shalom שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם
Today is the Shabbat, God’s Time
Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s.
Today is February 1st, 2014
February -- month of Februa
Latin dies februatus "day of purification"
Februarius had 28 days, until circa 450 BC when it had 23 or 24 days on some of every second year, until Julius when it had 29 days on every fourth year and 28 days otherwise.
Februa is the Roman festival of purification held on February fifteenth. It is possibly of Sabine origin.
Yehovah has His own calendar
We are now in the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat /Sh'vat, the last day
Zech.1 Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of Yehovah unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet….
This evening is the New Moon which starts the 12th month of God, Adar
Adar = “glorious”- אדר

Beware of the Novice, and Pride
A novice should not be teaching or leading a group
Over the years, we have witnessed many people who have studied with us for awhile, then leave, telling everyone they learned everything on their own – another lie and pride.
We don’t mind if you leave us, there are no bars on this place, but the bible says don’t teach when you’re a novice.
Let's talk about "the Proud - Pride"
I see pride has always been a problem
Here are a few verses:
1Tim.3 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
1John.2 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Tim.6 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.
 And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
 If any man (woman) teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
 He is
proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words,
whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
Mark 7 And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.
 And he saith unto them, Are ye so without
understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without
entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;
 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man (woman).
 For from
within, out of the heart of men (woman), proceed evil thoughts,
adulteries, fornications, murders,
 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man (woman).
How to deal with people that are proud and obstinate:
Rom.16 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
1Tim.6 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.
2Tim.2 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
Tit.3 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
 A man (or woman) that is an heretic after the first and second admonition reject;
 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
 Paul, an apostle of Yeshua the Messiah by the commandment
of God our Saviour, and Lord Yeshua the Messiah, which is our hope;
 Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Yeshua the Messiah our Lord.
 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,
 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
 Desiring to be teachers of the law;understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.
Vain jangling: ματαιολογία - mataiologia - mat-ah-yol-og-ee'-ah- random talk, that is, babble
Let’s talk about the humble person – humility
Some verses may be the same as above, however now I will emphasize the “humble” person now.
Prov.15 The fear of Yehovah is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.
Prov.18 Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility.
Prov.22 By humility and the fear of Yehovah are riches, and honour, and life.
Acts.20 Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:
1Pet.5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
First humble yourself and go and get forgiveness before you pray or bring an offering to God
Matt.5  Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
Jas.5 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Pss.32 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto Yehovah; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
