Why are we here today?

The 4th Commandment - the Sabbath

We read from law and the prophets every Sabbath

60 times in the Gospels and letters it uses the word Sabbath

Acts.13[13] Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.[14] But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.[15] And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.

Acts.15[21] For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

Luke.4[16] And he, Yeshua / Jesus came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.[17] And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias.

Acts.13:27 For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.

Acts.13[42] And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

There was no Israel again unto 1948, the land was dosolate .

As of this study in Dec. 1, 2007, many people from many nations are making aliyah , ( which means, rising, ascending ) to Israel.

As of Dec. 1, 2007, the U.S. is pushing Israel to make a league with the enemy again. ( two state solution )

Will ( false ) " peace" be achieved this time?

The Muslims are waiting for their leader to appear on the world stage called Mahdi, "the Guided One" or 12th Imam.

The unbelieving Jews in Judaism are waiting for their "man" messiah to arrive.

The Israel of God believers in Messiah Yeshua are waiting for the "True" Messiah to arrive the second time.

[10] Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
[11] And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely , all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

[12] To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited , and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.

[13] Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?

[14] Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?

[15] And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:
[16] And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days , and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
[17] Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?
[18] And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.
[19] For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
[20] So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
[21] And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.
[22] And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
[23] Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.

We heard that on October 13, 2004 a ceremony took place in Tiberias. The launching of a re- established Sanhedrin , the highest Jewish-legal tribunal in the Land of Israel.

The re-established Sanhedrin in Israel and many people are pushing to build the Temple and want to do blood sacrifices again, as of Dec. 1, 2007

There needs to be a " temple built " for the verse below to be achieved :

[8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
[9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
[10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
[12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Dan.11 [21 ] And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably , and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

[23] And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully : for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.[24] He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.

[27] And both these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table ; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

[36] And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods , and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.[37 ] Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

1Thes.5 [3 ] For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Genesis 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil .

Genesis 2:17: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil , thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Genesis 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil .

Genesis 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Matt. 17 [12 ] But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

John.1 [10] He, (Messiah) was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not .

[29] The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
[30] This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. [ 31] And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. [32] And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. [33] And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. [34 ] And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

[29] But I know him : for I am from him, and he hath sent me.

John 8 [54] Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: [ 55] Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.

John 14 [6 ] Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
[7] If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
[8] Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.[9 ] Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me , Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

[15] If ye love me, keep my commandments.
[16] And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
[17] Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

John 16 [3 ] And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

John 17 [25 ] O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

Rom. 3 [17 ] And the way of peace have they not known :

Heb. 3 [10 ] Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

1Cor. 8 [3] ... if any man love God, the same is known of him .

Heb. 10 :[30 ] For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

1John 3 [1 ] Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not .

1John 5 :[20] And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true , and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

[21] Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Jas. 4 [17] Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
