Shabbat Shalom

Let’s Pray

---

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come,

Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, sins, as we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from evil:

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.

 Amen

My ministry is to bring up topics in the Bible that have never been discussed, or mentioned in your life that God wants us to know, to make straight the way of Yehovah.

Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory, from the 1500’s

Today is June 5, 2010

----

God has His own calendar

We are now in the 3rd month of God, Sivan 21

Esth. 8 [9] Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, ñÄéåÈï

Question: Why are we here today?

Answer: We were told to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

The 4th Commandment is a part of the covenant given to us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan

Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.

--------

Lev. 23 [1] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,

Concerning the feasts of Yehovah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

[3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.

Unto this day, some people are still breaking the 4th commandment each week by not keeping the Sabbath as it is described above.

-------------

I shall define again a few words:

Remember

----------

Holy Convocation

î÷øà miqra: convocation, convoking, reading, a calling together, sacred assembly, something called out, that is, a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the place); also a rehearsal

÷ãùÑ kodesh: a sacred place or thing; consecrated, dedicated, hallowed, holiness, saint, sanctuary, apartness, sacredness, separateness, apartness, sacredness, holiness

----------

Dwelling

For your benefit, I listed all my studies at these websites below, for you to review:

You can read them on my site at http://oneinmessiah.net/subjects.htm

You can hear them on my site at http://oneinmessiah.net/av.htm

You can see them on my site at http://oneinmessiah.net/videoFiles.htm

Some people say, I love your studies and teachings;

but we will not do them!

---------------------------

Last week I went over the last 10 subject titles which I presented to you.

Here is the message you should have received:

You should have made yourselves a temple for God to dwell in, doing the right things at the Passover Seder, then starting your journey toward Pentecost / Feast of Weeks, watching your testimony making sure it is Holy, being really born again, converted, restoring Yehovah Laws, realizing sweet Yeshua is only sweet to them that love Him and keep His Commandments, understanding there is only One Law for all, tarrying until the 7th Sabbath, then Pentecost - receiving the Laws of God again and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit on the 50th day.

---------------------------

Also last week I went over some ungodly things that have occurred at our congregation over the past few years

Some people today are still doing the same things

--------

Today's Topic:

Do you say, I fear Yehovah, and serve your own god?

--------

Some people just want to sing

Amos 5 [23] Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.

[24] But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.

--------

They feared Yehovah, and served their own gods

2 Kgs. 17 [12] For they served idols, whereof Yehovah had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing.

[16] And they left all the commandments of Yehovah their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.

[33] They feared Yehovah, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence.

[41] So these nations feared Yehovah, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children's children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.

---------------

Matt. 15 [7] Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
[8] This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
[9] But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Mark 7 [6] He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.[7] Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctines the commandments of men.
[8] For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men...

Isa. 29 [13] Wherefore Yehovah said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

---------------

Zech. 5 [3] Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.

[4] I will bring it forth, saith Yehovah of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

-----------

Hos. 10 [4] They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant: thus judgment springeth up as hemlock in the furrows of the field.

---------------

Zeph. 1 [2] I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith Yehovah.

[3] I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the wicked; and I will cut off man from off the land, saith Yehovah.

[4] I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the priests;

[5] And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by Yehovah, and that swear by Malcham;

[6] And them that are turned back from Yehovah; and those that have not sought Yehovah, nor inquired for him.
---------------

Isa. 48 [1] Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of Yehovah, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.

---------------

Jer. 5 [2] And though they say, Yehovah liveth; surely they swear falsely.

---------------

Jer. 7 [9] Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;

Jer. 13 [10] This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing.

Jer. 14 [14] Then Yehovah said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

---------------

Ezek. 33 [31] And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.

[32] And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.

[33] And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.

---------------

They, the people have shut their eyes, ears and mind to God and His Word.

Jer. 6 [16] Thus saith Yehovah, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.

But they said, We will not walk therein.

----------------------------

What is a parable?

In short, a parable is a story to explain, in many different ways, a point or a theme so that people can relate or understand what is being said.

Pss. 49 [1] Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world:
[2] Both low and high, rich and poor, together.
[3] My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.

[4] I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp .

--------

Pss. 78 [1] Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.

[2] I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

[3 ] Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.
---------

They, the people have shut their eyes, ears and mind to God and His Word.

Matt. 13 [13] Therefore speak I to them in parables : "because they" seeing see not; and "hearing "they" hear not, neither do "they" understand.

[14 ] And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias , which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:[15 ] For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing , and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

---------

Mark 4 [11] And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables :[12] That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.
[13] And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

---------

Acts 28 [25] And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,

[26] Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:
[27] For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
[28] Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

---------

John 12 [39] Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again ,[40 ] He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

---------

Isa. 6 [9] And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.[10] Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

---------

Isa. 44 [13] The carpenter stretcheth out his rule; he marketh it out with a line; he fitteth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compass, and maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house.
[14] He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the forest: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish it.
[15] Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.
[16] He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:
[17] And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.
[18] They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

[19] And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?
[20] He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

---------

Isa. 30 [9] That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of Yehovah:

---------

Isa. 65 [12] Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake , ye did not hear ; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.

---------

Isa. 29 [13] Wherefore Yehovah said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

Matt. 15 [7] Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, [8] This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me .[9 ] But in vain they do worship me , teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

---------

Jer. 6 [17] Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

---------

Zech. 7 [7] Should ye not hear the words which Yehovah hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?

[11] But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear .

[13] Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith Yehovah of hosts:

-------------------------

Ezek. 12 [2] Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.

---------

Pss. 69 [20] Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
[21] They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
[22] Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.
[23] Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.
[24] Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.
[25] Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.
[26] For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.
[27] Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.
[28] Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

---------

Mark 3 [5] And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

--------------------

Because you will not hear:

Isa. 66 [4] I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer ; when I spake , they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

---------

Prov. 1: [23] Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
[24] Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
[25] But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
[26 ] I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
[27] When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
[28] Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
[29] For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of Yehovah:
[30] They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
[31] Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
[32] For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
[33] But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

---------

Rom. 1: [19] Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
[20] For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
[21] Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
[22] Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
[23] And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

[24] Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
[25] Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
[26] For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
[27] And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
[28] And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind , to do those things which are not convenient;
[29] Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
[30] Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
[31] Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
[32] Who knowing the judgment of God , that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
