Question:

Why are we here today?

Answer:

We were told to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

----------

The 4th Commandment is a part of the covenant given to us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan

Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

[11] For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.

-----------

Lev. 23: [3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

-----------

Read also:

Isa. 56 - the stranger gets a special blessing for keeping Sabbath

Neh. 13:15, to the end of the chapter. It is evil to buy and sell on the Sabbath of the Lord.

----

60 times in the Gospels and letters it uses the word Sabbath!

-----

Ex. 20 [10] the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God

Isa. 58

[13] If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words

[14] Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

John says.. Rev. 1 [10] I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

The Sabbath is the Lord's Day

--------

Friday at even to Saturday at even is the 7th day Sabbath

God's day starts in the evening

Gen. 1

[5] And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

[8] And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

[13] And the evening and the morning were the third day.

[19] And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

[23] And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

[31] And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Gen. 2

[1] Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
[2] And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

[3] And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Another example - The Day of Atonement is a sabbath on the 10th day of the 7th month (ha Ethamin)

Lev. 23 [32] It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even,

from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.

Topic: Repent and don't just hear, Do - Today!

Which doer are you?

-------

The pagan feasts are coming, what are you going to do? Time to make a Stand!

Jas. 4 [17] Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

-------

Two questions:

1 - Are you partial in the law?

2 - Which doer are you, the evil doer or the doer of the Law, and the Word?

---------------------------------

Are you partial in the LAW?

ðÉùÒÀàÄéí ôÌÈðÄéí áÌÇúÌåÉøÈä

"To lift up faces against the Torah"

Mal. 2 [9] Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law .

1 Tim. 5 [21] I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

Jas. 2 [4] Are ye not then partial in yourselves , and are become judges of evil thoughts?

Jas. 3 [17] But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality , and without hypocrisy.

Prov. 30 [32] If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth.

Ezek. 31 [10] Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast lifted up thyself in height, and he hath shot up his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height; [11] I have therefore delivered him into the hand of the mighty one of the heathen; he shall surely deal with him: I have driven him out for his wickedness.

Dan. 5 [23] Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans

But hast lifted up thyself against the LORD of heaven ; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:

[ 24] Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written.

[25 ] And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.

[26] This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.

[27] TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.

[28 ] PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

[29] Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.

[30] In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain.[31 ] And Darius the Median took the kingdom, being about threescore and two years old.

ðñä - ðùÒà nasa - nasah - In this case, to lift or raise up, to lift up the hand to do violence, carry (away), exalt ( self ) ( in pride), lift (self) up, lofty, magnify, pardon (yourself from ) respect persons, partiality

They say to Jeremiah and Ezekiel:

Ezek. 33

[31] And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.

Jer. 6

[16] Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

What think ye?

Matt.21 Yeshua talking to the chief priests and scribes:

[28] But what think ye?

A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.

[29] He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.

[30] And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.

[31] Whether of them twain did the will of his father?

They say unto him, The first.

Yeshua saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

[32] For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.

-------------------

Matt.23 - Yeshua talking to the multitude, and to his disciples about the scribes and the Pharisees:

[1] Then spake Yeshua to the multitude, and to his disciples,
[2] Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
[3] All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

-------------

Rom. 2 [11] For there is no respect of persons with God.

[12] For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

[13] (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

-------------

James 1 [1] James says...

[22] But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

[23] For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

[24] For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

[25] But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

------------------
Matt. 11 [20] Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:

[21] Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

[22] But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.
------------------

Again –

Jas. 1 [25] But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Be a doer today

Psalm 95 ...

To day if ye will hear his voice

[8] Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

[9] When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
[10] Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
[11] Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.
-------------------

Do His commandments

Deut. 27
[10] Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.

Pss. 111 [10] The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

------------------

Jer. 18

[8] If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

[9] And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;

[10] If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

Rev. 2 [5] Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

-----------------------------

Blessed are they that do his commandments

Rev. 22 [14] Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

[15] For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

[16] I Yeshua have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

[17] And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

[18] For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book,

If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

(No eternal security here)

[19] And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

[20] He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen.

Even so, come, Lord Yeshua.

Be a doer today!
