Today’s topic:

Endure, continue on, believe, have faith!

Let’s read

Jas.5 [10] Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of Yehovah, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

[11] Behold, we count them happy which endure.

Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of Yehovah; that Yehovah is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

Matt.10 [22] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Some don’t endure

Mark 4

[3] Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:

[16]… these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness

[17] And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

Some letters from Saul / Paul

 2 Thes. 1

[1] Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah:
[2] Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord
Yeshua the Messiah.
[3] We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith
groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

[4] So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:

[5] Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer

2 Tim. 2

[1] Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Messiah Yeshua.
[2] And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

[3] Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Yeshua the Messiah.

[4] No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
[5] And if
a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
[6] The husbandman that
laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
[7] Consider what I say; and the Lord
give thee understanding in all things.
[8] Remember that
Yeshua the Messiah of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel

[9] Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.

[10] Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Messiah Yeshua with eternal glory.

[11] It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
[12] If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
[13] If we believe not, yet he
abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

2Tim.4 [5] But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Heb.6 [12] … be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
[13] For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he
sware by himself,
[14] Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
[15] And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Many People endured through faith

A letter from Saul to the Hebrews

Heb.11

[1] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.[2] For by it the elders obtained a good report.

[3] Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

[4] By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

[5] By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

[6] But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

(God does not believe in atheists)

[7] By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

[8] By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
[9] By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
[10] For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

[11] Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

[12] Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.

[13] These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

[14] For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
[15] And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

[16] But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for He hath prepared for them a city.

[17] By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,[18] Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:
[19] Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.

[20] By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.

[21] By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.

[22] By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.

[23] By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.

[24] By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;
[25] Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
[26] Esteeming the reproach of Messiah greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the
recompence of the reward.

[27] By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

[28] Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

[29] By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.

[30] By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.

[31] By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

[32] And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:

[33] Who through faith:

subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,[34] Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

[35] Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance;

that they might obtain a better resurrection:

[36] And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

[37] They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, and were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;

[38] Of whom the world was not worthy:

they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

[39] And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise (of seeing Messiah Yeshua)[40] God having provided some better thing for us (we now have Messiah and are waiting for Him to come back), that they without (outside of, not with us) us should not be made perfect.

Heb.12 [1] Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us (to harass or trouble somebody or something continually), and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
[2] Looking unto
Yeshua the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

[3] For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

[4] Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

[12] Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
[13] And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

[14] Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

[15] Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
[16] Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. [17] For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

[18] For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
[19] And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard
intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:

[20] (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:[21] And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:) [29] For our God is a consuming fire.

“Belief and Faith”

Remember: Satan is "always" around to make you doubt God's Word and His commands.

1Pet.5 [8] Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour…

Eph.2 [1] And you hath He quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; [2] Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to:

the prince of the power of the air, “the spirit” that now works in the children of disobedience…

God may have a mission for you

Satan wants you to fear the face of the enemy, give excuses…

Exod. 4 [10] And Moses said unto Yehovah, O my Yehovah, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.
[11] And Yehovah said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I Yehovah?

[12] Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.
[13] And he said, O my Yehovah, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send.

[14] And the anger of Yehovah was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart.

[15] And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.
[16] And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be
to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God.

Exod. 6 [12] And Moses spake before Yehovah, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips?

[30] And Moses said before Yehovah, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?

The judgment is God's

Deut. 1[17] Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; Ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God's

Many people don't know our Yehovah, like Pharaoh and others…

Exod. 5 [2] And Pharaoh said, Who is Yehovah, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not Yehovah, neither will I let Israel go.

Prov.30 [6] Add thou not unto his words, lest He reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

[7] Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die:

[8] Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:[9] Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is Yehovah?

or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.

Believe the gospel of our Lord Yeshua The Messiah

1John 3 [23] And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of His Son Yeshua the Messiah, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

1John 4 [1] Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

[2] Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Yeshua is the Messiah and is come in the flesh (of Israel) is of God:

[3] And every spirit that confesseth not that Yeshua is the Messiah and is come in the flesh (of Israel) is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

[4] Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world (the devil).[5] They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

[6] We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us.

Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

[15] Whosoever shall confess that Yeshua is the Son (Word) of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

[16] And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

[19] We love Him, because He first loved us.

[20] If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother / sister, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother / sister whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

[21] And this commandment have we from him, That he who loves God love his brother and sister also.

1 John 5

[1] Whosoever believeth that Yeshua is the Messiah is born of God: and every one that loveth Him(the Father) that begat loveth Him (Yeshua) also that is begotten of Him.(the Father)

[2] By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
[3] For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

[4] For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world,
even our faith.

[5] Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Yeshua is the Son of God?
[6] This is he that came by water and blood, even
Yeshua is the Messiah; not by water only, but by water and blood.

And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

[7] For there are three that bear record in heaven,
the Father, (His) the Word,) and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

[8] And there are three that bear witness in earth,
the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

(John 19 [34] But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced His side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.)

[9] If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. (the Word)

[10] He that believeth on the Son (the Word) of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. (the Word)

[11] And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. (the Word)

[12]
He that hath the Son (the Word) hath life; and he that hath not the Son (the Word) of God hath not life.

[13] These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of (the Word) the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

[14] And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, he heareth us:
[15] And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.

[16] If any man see his brother (or sister) sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death.

There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

[17] All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

[18] We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

[19] And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

[20] And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his (the Father’s) Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

In closing:

Endure, continue on, believe, have faith!

[21] Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Shabbat Shalom
