Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s,

November 1st, 2014

November -- the nineth month (now the 11th month)

Middle English Novembre
Latin November
Latin Novembris mensis "nineth month"

Novembris had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 30 days long.

----------------------------------------------------

Yehovah has His own calendar

We are now in the 8th month called בּוּל     Bool, 7th day

Soon more rainBul /Bool, the eighth month

1Kgs.6 [38]… in the month Bul, which is the eighth month

Judaism calls this month Cheshvan or Marheshvan

This is not in the Hebrew Scriptures.

Today's Topic:

False doctrines abounds

Too many people believing too many things

Most people are not “one body in Messiah”

Let's read:

Rom.12[4] For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:[5] So we, being many, are one body in Messiah, and every one members one of another.

1Cor.10[17] For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

1Cor.12[12] For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Messiah.

[13] For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

[20] But now are they many members, yet but one body.

Eph.2[16] And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Eph.4[4] There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; [5] One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
[6] One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Col.3[15] And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

They are right in their own eyes

Let’s read:

1Kgs.18 [21] And Elijah came unto all the people, and said,

How long halt ye between two opinions?

 if Yehovah be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him.

 And the people answered him not a word

Judg.17 [6] In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.

Judg.21 [25] In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.

Deut.12 [8] Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.

Prov.3 [7] Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear Yehovah, and depart from evil.

Prov.12 [15] The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

Prov.16 [2] All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but Yehovah weigheth the spirits.

Prov.21[2]  Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but Yehovah pondereth the hearts.

Prov.30 [12] There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.

-------------

Isa.5 [20] Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil;

that put darkness for light, and light for darkness;

that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

[21] Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

[22] Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:

[23] Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

[24] Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of Yehovah of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

--------------------------------

Let’s read:

One heart, one voice, one soul, one accord, one mind and one mouth in the God of Israel

Exod.24 [3] And Moses came and told the people all the words of Yehovah, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which Yehovah hath said will we do.

1Chr.12 [38] All these men of war, that could keep rank, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel: and all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king.

2Chr.30 [12] Also in Judah the hand of God was to give them one heart to do the commandment of the king and of the princes, by the word of Yehovah.

Jer.32 [39] And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: [40] And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

[41] Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

Ezek.11 [19] And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: [20] That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

Acts.4 [32] And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

Acts.2 [1] And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

[46] And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

Acts.4[24] And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:

Acts.8 [6] And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

Acts.15 [25] It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,

Acts.15 [25] It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,

Rom.15 [6] That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Yeshua Messiah.

2Cor.13 [11] Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Phil.1 [27] Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Messiah: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Phil.2 [2] Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

1Pet.3 [8] Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: [9] Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

Younger people, babes, servants, children want to lead, teach –WRONG

Folly abounds

Prov.30 [21] For three things the earth is disquieted, and for four which it cannot be ar:
[22] For a servant when he reigneth; and a fool when he is filled with meat;
[23] For an odious woman when she is married; and an handmaid that is heir to her mistress.

[32] If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth.
[33] Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife.

Prov.19 [10] Delight is not seemly for a fool; much less for a servant to have rule over princes.

Ecc. [6] Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place.

Lam.5 [8] Servants have ruled over us: there is none that doth deliver us out of their hand.

Isa.3 - this is a curse

[1] For, behold, the Lord, Yehovah of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water,

[2] The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,
[3] The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counseller, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.

[4] And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.

[5] And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.

[6] When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand:
[7] In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.

[8] For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against Yehovah, to provoke the eyes of his glory.

[9] The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.

[10] Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

[11] Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.

Children, Women rule over them (bad)

[12] As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them.

O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

------------------------

Consult with the young people and not the experienced ones? Wrong!

1Kgs.12

[1] And Rehoboam went to Shechem: for all Israel were come to Shechem to make him king.

[2] And it came to pass, when Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who was yet in Egypt, heard of it, (for he was fled from the presence of king Solomon, and Jeroboam dwelt in Egypt;)

[3] That they sent and called him. And Jeroboam and all the congregation of Israel came, and spake unto Rehoboam, saying,[4] Thy father made our yoke grievous: now therefore make thou the grievous service of thy father, and his heavy yoke which he put upon us, lighter, and we will serve thee.

[5] And he said unto them, Depart yet for three days, then come again to me. And the people departed.

[6] And king Rehoboam consulted with the old men, that stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, and said, How do ye advise that I may answer this people?

[7] And they spake unto him, saying, If thou wilt be a servant unto this people this day, and wilt serve them, and answer them, and speak good words to them, then they will be thy servants for ever.

[8] But he forsook the counsel of the old men, which they had given him,

and consulted with the young men that were grown up with him, and which stood before him:

[9] And he said unto them, What counsel give ye that we may answer this people, who have spoken to me, saying, Make the yoke which thy father did put upon us lighter?

[10] And the young men that were grown up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou speak unto this people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it lighter unto us; thus shalt thou say unto them, My little finger shall be thicker than my father's loins.

[11] And now whereas my father did lade you with a heavy yoke, I will add to your yoke: my father hath chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.

[12] So Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam the third day, as the king had appointed, saying, Come to me again the third day.

[13] And the king answered the people roughly, and forsook the old men's counsel that they gave him;

[14] And spake to them after the counsel of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, and I will add to your yoke: my father also chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.

[15] Wherefore the king hearkened not unto the people; for the cause was from Yehovah, that he might perform his saying, which Yehovah spake by Ahijah the Shilonite unto Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

[16] So when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: to your tents, O Israel: now see to thine own house, David.

 So Israel departed unto their tents.

[17] But as for the children of Israel which dwelt in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over them.

[18] Then king Rehoboam sent Adoram, who was over the tribute; and all Israel stoned him with stones, that he died.

Therefore king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.

[19] So Israel rebelled against the house of David unto this day.

[20] And it came to pass, when all Israel heard that Jeroboam was come again, that they sent and called him unto the congregation, and made him king over all Israel: there was none that followed the house of David, but the tribe of Judah only.

[21] And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he assembled all the house of Judah, with the tribe of Benjamin, an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against the house of Israel, to bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam the son of Solomon.

[22] But the word of God came unto Shemaiah the man of God, saying,
[23] Speak unto Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and unto all the house of Judah and Benjamin, and to the remnant of the people, saying,
[24] Thus saith Yehovah, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing is from me. They hearkened therefore to the word of Yehovah, and returned to depart, according to the word of Yehovah.

[25] Then Jeroboam built Shechem in mount Ephraim, and dwelt therein; and went out from thence, and built Penuel.

[26] And Jeroboam said in his heart, Now shall the kingdom return to the house of David:

[27] If this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of Yehovah at Jerusalem, then shall the heart of this people turn again unto their lord, even unto Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again to Rehoboam king of Judah.

[28] Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

[29] And he set the one in Bethel, and the other put he in Dan.

[30] And this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan.

[31] And he made an house of high places, and made priests of the lowest of the people, which were not of the sons of Levi.

[32] And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in Judah, and he offered upon the altar.

So did he in Bethel, sacrificing unto the calves that he had made: and he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made.

[33] So he offered upon the altar which he had made in Bethel the fifteenth day of the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised of his own heart; and ordained a feast unto the children of Israel: and he offered upon the altar, and burnt incense.

This is why we need Elders with experience, discernment, and reasoning

I am the Elder of One in Messiah Congregation

There is a government, a possession of order in a congregation

Yeshua said:

Matt.18 [15]

1 - Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. (or sister)

2- [16] But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

3 - [17] And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church (the Elders): but if he neglect to hear the church, (the Elders)

4 - let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

 kick them out!

------------------

1Cor.5

[1] It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

[2] And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.

[3] For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

[4] In the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah,

[5] To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Yeshua.

Kick them out!

Order among believers

1Tim.5

[1] Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father;

and the younger men as brethren;

[2] The elder women as mothers;

 the younger as sisters, with all purity.

[17] Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

[18] For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

[19] Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.[20] Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

-----------

James 5:14

 Is any sick among you?

 let him “call for the elders of the church”;

 and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

------------

1Pet.5 [1] The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Messiah, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
[2]
Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof,

not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
[3] Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

[4] And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

[5] Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder.

Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

Oversight - Supervision, direction, leadership, rule

Teachers

2Tim.1 [11] Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

Acts.13 [1] Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

1Cor.12 [28] And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

Eph.4 [11] And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; [12] For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Messiah:

----------------

1Tim.2 [7] Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Messiah, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

Tit.2: [1] But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
[2] That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

[3] The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

 [4] That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

[5] To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

[6] Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.

[7] In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,[8] Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

---------------------

Order in a congregation

Bishops and deacons

Phil.1 [1] Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Yeshua the Messiah, to all the saints in Messiah Yeshua which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:

---------------------

1Tim.3

The office of a bishop

[1] This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.

[2] A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
[3] Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
[4] One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
[5] (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

[6] Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil

[7] Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

The office of a deacon

[8] Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
[9] Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
[10] And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.
[11] Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.

[12] Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
[13] For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Messiah Yeshua.

[14] These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly:
[15] But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

[16] And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:

“God was manifest in the flesh”,

justified in the Spirit,

seen of angels,

preached unto the Gentiles,

believed on in the world,

received up into glory.

 -------------

Tit.1 [1] Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Yeshua the Messiah, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

[2] In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
[3] But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;

[4] To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah our Saviour.

 [5] For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:

[6] If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.

[7] For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;

[8] But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
[9] Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

[10] For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
[11] Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
[12] One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.

[13] This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

[14] Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

[15] Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

[16] They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobediehnt, and unto every good work reprobate.

Phil.1 [1] Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Yeshua the Messiah, to all the saints in Messiah Yeshua which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:

In closing:

There is order in heaven.

There is order in the universe.

There is order in the animal kingdom.

On earth, there should be order among the people of God.
