Happy Feast of ingathering

Shabbat Shalom

The feast of the year's end (the last harvest of the year)

NOT New Year

 Exodus 34:22 And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.

 Let’s pray

--------------------------------

Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s.

October 17th, 2016

----------------------------------------------------

Yehovah has His own calendar

We are now in the 7th month called ha Ethanim, 15th day

(the daytime hours)

 The alef and tav, first and last (forever)

 Ha Ethanim = “enduring” - the permanent brooks

הָאֵתָנִים - ha Ethanim

הָאֵתָנִים ha Ethanim - Always with the article ha, the - permanent brooks, enduring, so named because permanent streams still flowed - plural of the below word:

איתן eythan - perpetual, constant, perennial, ever-flowing, ever-flowing (of a stream), permanence, permanent, enduring (figuratively)

Most people have never heard of ha Ethanim from scripture, they are brainwashed by Judaism to say Tishri which is nowhere in scripture.

1Kgs.8 [2] And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month ha Ethanim, which is the seventh month.

Today's Topic:

The Feast of tabernacles

חַג הָאָסִף  feast of ingathering

Lev.23[1] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of Yehovah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

[3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.

 [4] These are the feasts of Yehovah, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

---------------

[39] Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto Yehovah seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

[40] And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before Yehovah your God seven days.

[41] And ye shall keep it a feast unto Yehovah seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.

[42] Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:

[43] That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am Yehovah your God.

[44] And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of Yehovah.

 ----------------

My Sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign

Exod.31 12 And Yehovah spoke unto Moses, saying:

 וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר

[13] Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep:

for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am Yehovah that doth sanctify you.

[14] Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death:

for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

[15] Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to Yehovah: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

[16] Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

[17] It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

Happy Feast of ingathering

The last gathering in the final harvest

Matt.13

[24] Another parable put Yeshua forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
[25] But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
[26] But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
[27] So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field?
from whence then hath it tares?
[28] He said unto them,
An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
[29] But he said,
Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
[30] Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the
tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

The “7” days of the feast

Num.29 [12] And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work, and ye shall keep a feast unto Yehovah seven days:

First Day

[13] And ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto Yehovah;

thirteen young bullocks,

two rams,

and fourteen lambs of the first year; they shall be without blemish:

[14] And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals unto every bullock of the thirteen bullocks, two tenth deals to each ram of the two rams,

[15] And a several tenth deal to each lamb of the fourteen lambs:

[16] And one kid of the goats for a sin offering;

beside the continual burnt offering, his meat offering, and his drink offering.

---------------------------------------------------
[17] And on the second day ye shall offer twelve young bullocks,

two rams,

fourteen lambs of the first year without spot:

[18] And their meat offering and their drink offerings for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the manner:

[19] And one kid of the goats for a sin offering;

beside the continual burnt offering, and the meat offering thereof, and their drink offerings.

----------------------------------------------------
[20] And on the third day eleven bullocks,

two rams,

fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish;

[21] And their meat offering and their drink offerings for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the manner:
[22]
And one goat for a sin offering;

beside the continual burnt offering, and his meat offering, and his drink offering.

------------------------------------------------------
[23] And on the fourth day ten bullocks,

two rams,

and fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish

[24] Their meat offering and their drink offerings for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the manner

[22] And one goat for a sin offering;

beside the continual burnt offering, his meat offering, and his drink offering

-----------------------------------------------------.
[26] And on the fifth day nine bullocks,

two rams,

and fourteen lambs of the first year without spot:

[27] And their meat offering and their drink offerings for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the manner

[28] And one goat for a sin offering;

beside the continual burnt offering, and his meat offering, and his drink offering.

-----------------------------------------------------------
[29] And on the sixth day eight bullocks,

two rams,

and fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish:

[30] And their meat offering and their drink offerings for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the manner:

[31] And one goat for a sin offering;

beside the continual burnt offering, his meat offering, and his drink offering.

----------------------------------------------------------------
[32] And on the seventh day seven bullocks,

two rams,

and fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish:

[33] And their meat offering and their drink offerings for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the manner:

[34] And one goat for a sin offering;

beside the continual burnt offering, his meat offering, and his drink offering.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A solemn assembly

[35] On the eighth day ye shall have a solemn assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein:

 בַּיּוֹם, הַשְּׁמִינִי--עֲצֶרֶת, תִּהְיֶה לָכֶם:  כָּל-מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה, לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ

[36] But ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto Yehovah:

one bullock,

one ram,

seven lambs of the first year without blemish:

[37] Their meat offering and their drink offerings for the bullock, for the ram, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the manner:

[38] And one goat for a sin offering;

beside the continual burnt offering, and his meat offering, and his drink offering.

[39] These things ye shall do unto Yehovah in your set feasts, beside your vows, and your freewill offerings, for your burnt offerings, and for your meat offerings, and for your drink offerings, and for your peace offerings.

[40] And Moses told the children of Israel according to all that Yehovah commanded Moses.

--------------------------------

Just counting the “7” days of the feast

Total 70 bullocks

----------------------------

Total 98 lambs of the first year without blemish

-------------------

Total 14 rams

-------------------------------------------

Total = 70 + 98 + 14 = 182 (all these numbers are divisible by 7)

Total goats for a sin offering "7"

Also in verses:

14] And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals unto every bullock of the thirteen bullocks, two tenth deals to each ram of the two rams,

[15] And a several tenth deal to each lamb of the fourteen lambs:

[16] And one kid of the goats for a sin offering;

three tenth deals times 70 bullocks = 210/10

two tenth deals times 98 rams = 196/10

several tenth deal ( 1/10 ) times 14 lambs = 14/10

Just add 210 + 196 + 14 = 420/10 or 42 (which is divisible by 7)

This is beside the continual burnt offering, and the meat offering thereof, and their drink offerings. (Which is all divisible by 7)

The year of release, end of every seven years – on the feast of tabernacles

Release: remission (of debt) or suspension (of labor)

Deut.15

[1] At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release.
[2] And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that
lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it;he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the Yehovah's release.

[3] Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release;

[4] Save when there shall be no poor among you; for Yehovah shall greatly bless thee in the land which Yehovah thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it:

[5] Only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of Yehovah thy God, to observe to do all these commandments which I command thee this day.

[6] For Yehovah thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations,but they shall not reign over thee.

[7] If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which Yehovah thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:

[8] But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.

[9] Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto Yehovah against thee, and it be sin unto thee.

[10] Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing Yehovah thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.

[11] For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.

[12] And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman , be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee.

[13] And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty:

[14] Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith Yehovah thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him.

[15] And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and Yehovah thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day.

[16] And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee;

[17] Then thou shalt take an aul, and thrust it through his ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do likewise.

[18] It shall not seem hard unto thee, when thou sendest him away free from thee; for he hath been worth a double hired servant to thee, in serving thee six years: and Yehovah thy God shall bless thee in all that thou doest.

[19] All the firstling males that come of thy herd and of thy flock thou shalt sanctify unto Yehovah thy God: thou shalt do no work with the firstling of thy bullock, nor shear the firstling of thy sheep.

[20] Thou shalt eat it before Yehovah thy God year by year in the place which Yehovah shall choose, thou and thy household.

[21] And if there be any blemish therein, as if it be lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto Yehovah thy God.

[22] Thou shalt eat it within thy gates: the unclean and the clean person shall eat it alike, as the roebuck, and as the hart.

[23] Only thou shalt not eat the blood thereof; thou shalt pour it upon the ground as water.

---------------

Deut. 31 [10] And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,

[11] When all Israel is come to appear before Yehovah thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.

 [12] Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear Yehovah your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:
[13] And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear Yehovah your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.

We will be reading and studying scripture for the 7 day feast join us if you can.

Rev.21[3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Neh.8 [1] And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded to Israel.

[2] And Ezra the priest brought the law before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month.

[3] And he read therein before the street that was before the water gate from the morning until midday, before the men and the women, and those that could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the law.

[4] And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose;

and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.

[5] And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people; (for he was above all the people;) and when he opened it, all the people stood up:

[6] And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the LORD with their faces to the ground.

[7] Also Yeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the law: and the people stood in their place.

[8] So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.

[9] And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep.

For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.

[10] Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
[11] So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be ye grieved.
[12] And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared unto them.

[13] And on the second day were gathered together the chief of the fathers of all the people, the priests, and the Levites, unto Ezra the scribe, even to understand the words of the law.

[14] And they found written in the law which the LORD had commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths in the feast of the seventh month:

[15] And that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written.

[16] So the people went forth, and brought them, and made themselves booths, every one upon the roof of his house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of God, and in the street of the water gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim.

[17] And all the congregation of them that were come again out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the booths:

for since the days of Yeshua the son of Nun unto that day had not the children of Israel done so.

And there was very great gladness.

[18] Also day by day, from the first day unto the last day, he read in the book of the law of God.

And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto the manner.(of the Torah)

Shabbat Shalom
