Shabbat Shalom

שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם

Today, we sadly use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s.

Today is 2/3/2024

February -- month of Februa

Middle English Februarius
Latin
Februarius "of Februa"
Latin
Februa(s) "Februa" + -arius "ary (pertaining to)"
Latin
Februarius mensis "month of Februa"
Latin dies
februatus "day of purification"

Februarius had 28 days, until circa 450 BC when it had 23 or 24 days on some of every second year, until Julius when it had 29 days on every fourth year and 28 days otherwise.

Februa is the Roman festival of purification, held on February fifteenth.

It is possibly of Sabine origin.

From the Britannica, some net history

Sabine, member of an ancient Italic tribe located in the mountainous country east of the Tiber River.

They were known for their religious practices and beliefs, and several Roman institutions were said to have derived from them.

The story recounted by Plutarch that Romulus, the founder of Rome, invited the Sabines to a feast and then carried off (raped) their women, is legendary.

Though there was a considerable Sabine infiltration into Rome, the view that the Sabines conquered the city in the first half of the 5th century BC is improbable; rather, the Romans had many skirmishes with the Sabines before their victory in 449.

Nothing is known thereafter until in 290 the Sabines were conquered and granted civitas sine suffragio; in 268 they received full Roman citizenship.

Civitas sine suffragio was a level of citizenship in the Roman Republic which granted all the rights of Roman citizenship except the right to vote in popular assemblies. This status was first extended to some of the city-states which had been incorporated into the Republic following the break-up of the Latin League in 338 BCE. It became the standard Romanization policy for incorporating conquered regions in building the Roman Empire.

The Sabines probably spoke Oscan.

No inscription has survived of their dialect, but a large number of single words are attributed to them by Latin writers. The tradition that the Sabines were the parent stock of the Samnites tribes is probably correct.

Yehovah has His own calendar which is deleted from the world

Shevat, the 11th month - Zach 1:7 - in English, scripture calls it Sebat, day 22

Today’s topic:

Jerusalem

יְרוּשָׁלִַם Yeru sha la im

Meaning:  Jerusalem = "teaching and city of peace"

The capital city of Israel - Jerusalem

Deut.11 [12] A land which Yehovah your God cares for: the eyes of Yehovah your God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.

This is what happens to people that fight against Ariel – Jerusalem

Josh.11 [1] And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor had heard those things, that he sent to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron and to the king of Achshaph,[2] And to the kings that were on the north of the mountains, and of the plains south of Chinneroth, and in the valley, and in the borders of Dor on the west,

כִּנֶּרוֹת Kinnerowth {kin-ner-oth'} or כִּנֶּרֶת

Kinnereth {kin-neh'-reth}

Meaning:  Chinneroth or Cinneroth or Chinnereth = "harps"

1) the early name of the Sea of Galilee 2) a town and district in Naphtali near the Sea of Galilee

Back to Josh.11

[3] And to the Canaanite on the east and on the west, and to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the mountains, and to the Hivite under Hermon in the land of Mizpeh.

[4] And they went out, they and all their hosts with them, much people, even as the sand that is upon the sea shore in multitude, with horses and chariots very many.

[5] And when all these kings were met together, they came and pitched together at the waters of Merom, to fight against Israel.

[6] And Yehovah said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for tomorrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: you shal hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.

[7] So Joshua came, and all the people of war with him, against them by the waters of Merom suddenly; and they fell upon them.

[8] And Yehovah delivered them into the hand of Israel, who smote them, and chased them unto great Zidon, and unto Misrephoth-maim, and unto the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left them none remaining.

[9] And Joshua did unto them as Yehovah bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with fire.
[10] And Joshua at that time turned back, and took
Hazor, and smote the king thereof with the sword: for Hazor beforetime was the head of all those kingdoms.

[11] And they smote all the souls that were therein with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them: there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with fire.

[12] And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, did Joshua take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of Yehovah commanded.

[13] But as for the cities that stood still in their strength, Israel burned none of them, save Hazor only; that did Joshua burn.

[14] And all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for a prey unto themselves; but every man they smote with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they any to breathe.

[15] As Yehovah commanded Moses his servant, so did Moses command Joshua, and so did Joshua; he left nothing undone of all that Yehovah commanded Moses.

[16] So Joshua took all that land, the hills, and all the south country, and all the land of Goshen, and the valley, and the plain, and the mountain of Israel, and the valley of the same;
[17] Even from the mount
Halak, that goes up to Seir, even unto Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon under mount Hermon: and all their kings he took, and smote them, and slew them.

[18] Joshua made war a long time with all those kings.

[19] There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, save the Hivites the inhabitants of Gibeon: all other they took in battle.

[20] For it was of Yehovah to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favor, but that he might destroy them, as Yehovah commanded Moses.

[21] And at that time came Joshua, and cut off the Anakims from the mountains, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the mountains of Judah, and from all the mountains of Israel: Joshua destroyed them utterly with their cities.

[22] There was none of the Anakims left in the land of the children of Israel: only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod, there remained.
[23] So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that
Yehovah said unto Moses; and Joshua gave it for an inheritance unto Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war.

Sennacherib king of Assyria

2 Kgs.18 [13] Now in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah did Sennacherib king of Assyria come up against all the fenced cities of Judah, and took them.

2 Kgs.19

[1] And it came to pass, when King Hezekiah heard it, that he rent his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of Yehovah.

[2] And he sent Eliakim, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.

[3] And they said unto him, Thus said Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.

[4] It may be Yehovah your God will hear all the words of Rab-shakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master had sent to reproach the living God; and will reprove the words which Yehovah your God had heard: wherefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that are left.

[5] So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah.

[6] And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall you say to your master,

Thus said Yehovah, Be not afraid of the words which you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

[7] Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumor, and shall return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.

[8] So Rab-shakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah: for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish.
[9] And when he heard say of Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, Behold, he is come out to fight against you: he sent messengers again unto Hezekiah, saying,
[10] Thus shall you speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.

[11] Behold, you have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands, by destroying them utterly: and shall you be delivered?
[12] Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed; as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Thelasar?
[13] Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arpad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, of Hena, and Ivah?

[14] And Hezekiah received the letter of the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up into the house of Yehovah, and spread it before Yehovah.

[15] And Hezekiah prayed before Yehovah, and said, O Yehovah God of Israel, which dwell between the cherubims, you are the God, even you alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: you have made heaven and earth.

[16] Yehovah bow down your ear, and hear: open Yehovah, your eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherib, which had sent him to reproach the living God.
[17] Of a truth, Yehovah, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and their lands,
[18] And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.
[19] Now therefore, O Yehovah our God, I beseech you, save us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you are Yehovah God, even you only.

[20] Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus said Yehovah God of Israel, That which you have prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard.

[21] This is the word that Yehovah had spoken concerning him;

The virgin the daughter of Zion had despised you, and laughed you to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem had shaken her head at you.
[22] Whom have you reproached and blasphemed? And against whom have you exalted your voice, and lifted up your eyes on high? Even against the Holy One of Israel.

[23] By the messengers you have reproached the Lord, and have said, With the multitude of my chariots I am come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his Carmel.

[24] I have dug and drunk strange waters, and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of besieged places.
[25] Have you not heard long ago how I have done it, and of ancient times that I have formed it? Now have I brought it to pass, that you should be to lay waste fenced cities into ruinous heaps.

[26] Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.
[27] But I know your abode, and your going out, and your coming in, and your rage against me.
[28] Because your rage against me and your tumult is come up into mine ears, therefore I will put my hook in your nose, and my bridle in your lips, and I will turn you back by the way by which you came.

[29] And this shall be a sign unto you, you shall eat this year such things as grow of themselves, and in the second year that which spring of the same; and in the third year sow you, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruits thereof.
[30] And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.
[31] For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of Yehovah of hosts shall do this.

[32] Therefore thus said Yehovah concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor cast a bank against it.

[33] By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, said Yehovah.
[34] For I will defend this city, to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

[35] And it came to pass that night, that the angel of Yehovah went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

[36] So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.

[37] And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword: and they escaped into the land of Armenia. And Esar-haddon his son reigned in his stead.

So victorious that we must read

2Chr.32

[1] After these things, and the establishment thereof, Sennacherib king of Assyria came, and entered into Judah, and encamped against the fenced cities, and thought to win them for himself.

[2] And when Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib was come, and that he was purposed to fight against Jerusalem,
[3] He took counsel with his princes and his mighty men to stop the waters of the fountains which were without the city: and they did help him.

[4] So there was gathered much people together, who stopped all the fountains, and the brook that ran through the midst of the land, saying, why should the kings of Assyria come, and find much water?
[5] Also
he strengthened himself, and built up all the wall that was broken, and raised it up to the towers, and another wall without, and repaired Millo in the city of David, and made darts and shields in abundance.
[6] And he set captains of war over the people, and gathered them together to him in the street of the gate of the city, and spoke comfortably to them, saying,

[7] Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him:

[8] With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is Yehovah our God to help us, and to fight our battles.

And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

[9] After this did Sennacherib king of Assyria send his servants to Jerusalem, (but he himself laid siege against Lachish, and all his power with him,) unto Hezekiah king of Judah, and unto all Judah that were at Jerusalem, saying,

[10] Thus said Sennacherib king of Assyria, Whereon do you trust, that you abide in the siege in Jerusalem?

[11] Doth not Hezekiah persuade you to give over yourselves to die by famine and by thirst, saying, Yehovah our God shall deliver us out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

[12] Had not the same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying, You shall worship before one altar, and burn incense upon it?

[13] Know you not what I and my fathers have done unto all the people of other lands?

Were the gods of the nations of those lands any ways able to deliver their lands out of mine hand?

[14] Who was there among all the gods of those nations that my fathers utterly destroyed, that could deliver his people out of mine hand, that your God should be able to deliver you out of mine hand?

[15] Now therefore let not Hezekiah deceive you, nor persuade you on this manner, neither yet believe him: for no god of any nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people out of mine hand, and out of the hand of my fathers: how much less shall your God deliver you out of mine hand?

[16] And his servants spoke yet more against Yehovah God, and against his servant Hezekiah.

[17] He wrote also letters to rail on Yehovah God of Israel, and to speak against him, saying, As the gods of the nations of other lands have not delivered their people out of mine hand, so shall not the God of Hezekiah deliver his people out of mine hand.

[18] Then they cried with a loud voice in the Jews' speech unto the people of Jerusalem that were on the wall, to affright them, and to trouble them; that they might take the city.

[19] And they spoke against the God of Jerusalem, as against the gods of the people of the earth, which were the work of the hands of man.

[20] And for this cause Hezekiah the king, and the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz, prayed and cried to heaven.

One angel

[21] And Yehovah sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valor, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria.

So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword.

[22] Thus Yehovah saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all other, and guided them on every side.

Ariel

0740 אֲרִיאֵל 'Ari'el {ar-ee-ale'}

Meaning:  Ariel = "lion of God" or "lioness of God"

1) a name applied to Jerusalem

2) the name of a chief of the returning exiles

Origin:  the same as 0739;

Usage:  AV - Ariel 6; 6

Isa.29

[1] Woe to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David dwelt! - Jerusalem

add you year to year; let them kill sacrifices.

[2] Yet I will distress Ariel, and there shall be heaviness and sorrow: and it shall be unto me as Ariel.

[3] And I will camp against you round about, and will lay siege against you with a mount, and I will raise forts against you.

[4] And you shall be brought down, and shall speak out of the ground, and your speech shall be low out of the dust, and your voice shall be, as of one that had a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and your speech shall whisper out of the dust.

[5] Moreover the multitude of your strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passeth away: yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly.

[6] You shall be visited of Yehovah of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.

[7] And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her munition, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.

[8] It shall even be as when an hungry man dreams, and, behold, he eats; but he awakes, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreams, and, behold, he drinks; but he awakes, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul had appetite: so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion.

[9] Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry you out, and cry: they are drunk, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.

[10] For Yehovah had poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and had closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers had he covered.

[11] And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray you: and he said, I cannot; for it is sealed:
[12] And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray you: and he said, I am not learned.

[13] Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

[14] Therefore behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder:

for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

[15] Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from
Yehovah and their works are in the dark, and they say, who sees us? And who knows us?

[16] Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not?

Or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?

[17] Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest?

[18] And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.

[19] The meek also shall increase their joy in
Yehovah, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

[20] For the terrible one is brought to naught, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:

[21] That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that
reproves in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of naught.

[22] Therefore thus said
Yehovah, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale.

[23] But when he sees his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.

[24] They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.

Ben-hadad the king of Syria

1Kgs.20

[1] And Ben-hadad the king of Syria gathered all his host together: and there were thirty and two kings with him, and horses, and chariots: and he went up and besieged Samaria, and warred against it.
[2] And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel into the city, and said unto him, Thus said Ben-hadad,
[3] Thy silver and your gold is mine; your wives also and your children, even the goodliest, are mine.
[4] And the king of Israel answered and said, My lord, O king, according to your saying, I am your, and all that I have.
[5] And the messengers came again, and said, Thus speaks Ben-hadad, saying, Although I have sent unto thee, saying, you shall deliver me your silver, and your gold, and your wives, and your children;
[6] Yet I will send my servants unto you tomorrow about this time, and they shall search your house, and the houses of your servants; and it shall be, that whatsoever is pleasant in your eyes, they shall put it in their hand, and take it away.
[7] Then the king of Israel called all the elders of the land, and said, Mark, I pray you, and see how this man seeks mischief: for he sent unto me for my wives, and for my children, and for my silver, and for my gold; and I denied him not.
[8] And all the elders and all the people said unto him, Hearken not unto him, nor consent.
[9] Wherefore he said unto the messengers of Ben-hadad, Tell my lord the king, All that you didst send for to your servant at the first I will do: but this thing I may not do. And the messengers departed, and brought him word again.
[10] And Ben-hadad sent unto him, and said, The gods do so unto me, and more also, if the dust of Samaria shall suffice for handfuls for all the people that follow me.
[11] And the king of Israel answered and said, Tell him, Let not him that gird on his harness boast himself as he that puts it off.
[12] And it came to pass, when Ben-hadad heard this message, as he was drinking, he and the kings in the pavilions, that he said unto his servants, Set yourselves in array. And they set themselves in array against the city.
[13] And, behold, there came a prophet unto Ahab king of Israel, saying, Thus said Yehovah, Hast you seen all this great multitude? Behold, I will deliver it in to your hand this day; and you shalt know that I am Yehovah.
[14] And Ahab said, By whom? And he said, thus said Yehovah, Even by the young men of the princes of the provinces. Then he said, Who shall order the battle? And he answered, Thou.
[15] Then he numbered the young men of the princes of the provinces, and they were two hundred and thirty two: and after them he numbered all the people, even all the children of Israel, being seven thousand.

[16] And they went out at noon. But Ben-hadad was drinking himself drunk in the pavilions, he and the kings, the thirty and two kings that helped him.

[17] And the young men of the princes of the provinces went out first; and Ben-
hadad sent out, and they told him, saying, there are men come out of Samaria.

[18] And he said,
Whether they be come out for peace, take them alive; or whether they be come out for war, take them alive.
[19] So these young men of the princes of the provinces came out of the city, and the army which followed them.
[20] And they slew everyone his man: and the Syrians fled; and Israel pursued them: and Ben-
hadad the king of Syria escaped on an horse with the horsemen.
[21] And the king of Israel went out, and smote the horses and chariots, and slew the Syrians with a great slaughter.
[22] And the prophet came to the king of Israel, and said unto him, Go, strengthen yourself, and mark, and see what you do: for at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against thee.
[23] And the servants of the king of Syria said unto him, their gods are gods of the hills; therefore they were stronger than we; but let us fight against them in the plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they.
[24] And do this thing, Take the kings away, every man out of his place, and put captains in their rooms:
[25] And number thee an army, like the army that you hast lost, horse for horse, and chariot for chariot: and we will fight against them in the plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they. And he hearkened unto their voice, and did so.
[26] And it came to pass at the return of the year, that Ben-
hadad numbered the Syrians, and went up to Aphek, to fight against Israel.
[27] And the children of Israel were numbered, and were all present, and went against them: and the children of Israel pitched before them like two little flocks of kids; but the Syrians filled the country.

[28] And there came a man of God, and spoke unto the king of Israel, and said,

Thus said Yehovah, Because the Syrians have said, Yehovah is God of the hills, but he is not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into your hand, and you shall know that I am Yehovah.

[29] And they pitched one over against the other seven days. And so it
was, that in the seventh day the battle was joined: and the children of Israel slew of the Syrians an hundred thousand footmen in one day.
[30] But the rest fled to
Aphek, into the city; and there a wall fell upon twenty and seven thousand of the men that were left. And Ben-hadad fled, and came into the city, into an inner chamber.

[31] And his servants said unto him, Behold now, we have heard that the kings of the house of Israel are merciful kings: let us, I pray thee, put sackcloth on our loins, and ropes upon our heads, and go out to the king of Israel: peradventure he will save your life.

[32] So they girded sackcloth on their loins, and put ropes on their heads, and came to the king of Israel, and said, Your servant Ben-hadad said, I pray thee, let me live. And he said, Is he yet alive? he is my brother.
[33] Now the men did diligently observe whether any thing would come from him, and did hastily catch it: and they said, Thy brother Ben-
hadad. Then he said, Go you, bring him. Then Ben-hadad came forth to him; and he caused him to come up into the chariot.
[34] And Ben-
hadad said unto him, The cities, which my father took from your father, I will restore; and you shalt make streets for thee in Damascus, as my father made in Samaria. Then said Ahab, I will send thee away with this covenant. So he made a covenant with him, and sent him away.

[35] And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said unto his neighbor in the word of Yehovah, Smite me, I pray thee. And the man refused to smite him.

[36] Then said he unto him, Because you have not obeyed the voice of Yehovah, behold, as soon as you are departed from me, a lion shall slay thee. And as soon as he was departed from him, a lion found him, and slew him.

[37] Then he found another man, and said, Smite me, I pray thee. And the man smote him, so that in smiting he wounded him.

[38] So the prophet departed, and waited for the king by the way, and disguised himself with ashes upon his face.
[39] And as the king passed by, he cried unto the king: and he said, Thy servant went out into the midst of the battle; and, behold, a man turned aside, and brought a man unto me, and said, Keep this man: if by any means he be missing, then shall your life be for his life, or else you
shalt pay a talent of silver.

[40] And as your servant was busy here and there, he was gone. And the king of Israel said unto him,
So shall your judgment be; thyself hast decided it.
[41] And he hasted, and took the ashes away from his face; and the king of Israel discerned him that he was of the prophets.
[42] And he said unto him, thus said
Yehovah, Because you hast let go out of your hand a man whom I appointed to utter destruction, therefore your life shall go for his life, and your people for his people.
[43] And the king of Israel went to his house heavy and displeased, and came to Samaria.

We are waiting for New Jerusalem and the new heavens and a new earth

Isa.65

[17] For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

[18] But be you glad and rejoice forever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

[19] And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

Isa.66

[22] For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, said Yehovah, so shall your seed and your name remain.

Rev.3

[12] Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Rev.21

[2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

A short list of sevens: Revelation

seven churches

seven stars

seven golden candlesticks

The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which you saw are the seven churches.

seven Spirits of God

seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

 seven seals

seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth

seven angels

seven trumpets

seven thunders

the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord Yehovah, and of his Messiah; and he shall reign forever and ever

seven last plagues

seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and eve

Rev. 6 [9] And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
[10] And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost you not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

[11] And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

[12] And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
[13] And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

[14] And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

[15] And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

[16] And said to the mountains and rocks, fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

[17] For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Rev.8

[1] And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
[
2] And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. (like in Josh.6)

 Rev. 10

[5] And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
[6] And
sware by him that lives forever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
[7] But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he had declared to his servants the prophets.

Gen.2

[1] Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

[2] And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
[3] And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
[4] These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were
created, in the day that Yehovah God made the earth and the heavens…

In closing for today:

I say again, we are waiting for New Jerusalem and the new heavens and a new earth

6th it is finished

7th is peace, shalom

2 Tim.2

[11] It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:

[12] If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

[13] If we believe not, yet he abides faithful: he cannot deny himself.
