Sept. 6th, 2008
God has His own calendar - We are in the 6th month, 5th day
No name in scripture for the 6th month. (End of August / September)
This is not the last month of the year. It is the 6th month.
Next month is the 7th month, not New Year, Rosh ha Shannah
Also, it is called ha Ethanim, 1 Kings 8:2, not Tishrei which is not found in the Hebrew Bible
Judaism calls Elul, the 6th month. We can't verify this by the Hebrew Scriptures.
Neh.6 So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul àÁìåÌì , in fifty and two days.
Question: Why are we here today?
Answer: We were told to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy
The 4th Commandment is a part of the covenant given to us at mount Sinai
The 10 Commandments
Exod. 20 - (Deut. 5)
 And God spake all
these words, saying,
 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
 Thou shalt not kill.
 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
 Thou shalt not steal.
 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
We read from law and the prophets every Sabbath
60 times in the Gospels and letters it uses the word Sabbath
Acts 13 Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem. But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down. And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.
 For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.
 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.
 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God
Acts 15 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
Luke 4 And he, Yeshua / Jesus came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias.
Exod. 31 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying,
Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep : for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.
 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant . It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
Ezek. 20 Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.
 And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.
Luke 23 And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.
Messiah Yeshua speaking of the future: Matt.24 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Sad to say, many stores are selling Halloween trash already in August. Halloween is Oct.31
So I thought it would be appropriate to start discussing,

Now, we are judges
Ye are gods, judges with God's Word to judge righteously
Yeshua said: John 7 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
Lev. 19 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
Pss. 82: God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; àì He judgeth among the gods. àÁìÉäÄéí ( judges )
 How long will ye judge unjustly,
and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
H410 àì 'el - ale Shortened from H352; strength; as adjective mighty; especially the Almighty (but used also of any deity): - God (god), goodly, great, idol, might (-y one), power, strong. Compare names in "el".
BDB Definition: Part of Speech: noun masculine, 1) god, god-like one, mighty one, 1a) mighty men, men of rank, mighty heroes, 1b) angels, 1c) god, false god, (demons, imaginations) 1d) God, the one true God, Jehovah, 2) mighty things in nature, 3) strength, power
Satan used the term gods. We can dircern between good and evil
Gen. 3 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
I and my Father are one.
 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
 If he called them gods,
unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
Law = Torah, teaching
Exod. 21 Now these are the judgments which thou shalt set before them.
 Then his master shall bring him unto the äÈàÁìÉäÄéí judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him forever.
Exod. 22 If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought unto the judges, äÈàÁìÉäÄéí to see whether he have put his hand unto his neighbor’s goods. For all manner of trespass, whether it be for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, or for any manner of lost thing, which another challengeth to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the judges; äÈàÁìÉäÄéí and whom the judges àÁìÉäÄéí shall condemn, he shall pay double unto his neighbour.
Yeshua - the Word will judge us
John.1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 5 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
John 12 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
John 5 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
1 Cor. 6 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
 At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.
 I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
 Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
 Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.
We don't judge without judgment, we use God's judgment
- The Word to judge
Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest
another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
 For there is no respect of persons with God.
 For as many as have sinned without law
shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be
judged by the law;
 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
2 Thes. 1
 Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus,
unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus
 Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit
and a great chain in his hand.
 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Ye are gods, judges with God's Word to judge righteously
Yeshua said: John 7 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
