The Gregorian calendar (Pope Gregory, 1500's) – Sept. 19, 2009

--------------

We restore the calendar of God

We are now in the 6th month of God, 29nd day

--------------

Question: Why don’t we call the 6th month Elul?

Answer: We can't verify the name by scripture.

Elul may be the name of the fourth or fifth month.

----------------------

Always remember:

Deut. 4 [2] Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Deut. 12 [32] What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Prov. 30 [6] Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

--------------

Question: Why are we here today?

Answer: We were told to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

The 4th Commandment is a part of the covenant given to us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan

Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

[11] For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Here we go again

Again this year 2009, I am receiving emails wishing me "happy new years" wrong!

Some people will never learn L

Judaism has made up so many things and sad to say, many Messianics just follow them L
----------------------

Please learn these few scriptures:

1 John 2 [21] I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

----------------------

2 Tim. 2 [15] Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

----------------------

1 Thes. 5 [21] Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

----------------------

2 Tim. [5] But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

----------------------

Matt. 12 [36] But I say unto you, That every idle (vain, void of truth) word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

[37] For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

----

I can't say this enough:

The same lies each year, at this season to combat:

1: It is the New Moon

2: ha Ethanim not Tishri

3: seventh month not the First month

4: a memorial of Blowing of Trumpets not Rosh Hashanah

5: It is the year's end, not the beginning

6: God has "One" Calendar, not "Two" as Judaism states

--------

Today is not Rosh Hashanah, New Years - The Memorial of Blowing of Trumpets starts Sunday night which is at the “END” of the year.

Scripture says:

The feast of tabernacles

The feast of ingathering (Feast of Tabernacles) which is at the year's end not new year!

חַג הָאָסִיף־־תְּקוּפַת הַשָּׁנָה

Exod.23 [14] Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year .[15 ] Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)[16] And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering , which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field

Exod.34[ 22] And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.

------------

Lev.23:

[24] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.

[27] Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

[34] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.

[39] Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

[41] And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month. (Not new years)
-----------------

Num.29 [1] And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.

-----------------

The word Tishri is "NOT" in scripture, it is from Babylon and their pagan feasts.

It is not Tishri, it is ha Ethanim

1 Kgs. 8 [2] And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.

----------------------

Judaism made up four or five new years.

 Is this scriptural?

Who is right, Judaism or the Hebrew Scriptures?

 I'm going with the Scriptures!

Judaism says:

New year for years, Rosh Hashanah. The 1st of Tishrei

The new year for tithing vegetables: Tishrei 1

New year for Sabbatical years

New year for planting trees

New year for the tithing of animals is (Elul?) 1 (in August)

--------

There are over 300 disagreements in the Talmud between the Schools of Hillel and Shammai.

The 1st of Shevat is the new year for trees, that is the new year for calculating the tithe on fruit grown in Israel says the School of Shammai, but the School of Hillel disagrees, and says the 15th of Shevat. The proper date of the new year of the trees is thus yet another of the famous disputes between the Schools of Hillel and Shammai, and as usual the opinion of Hillel's followers eventually prevailed. Fruit that budded during one "fiscal year" was not to be used as tithe on that which budded during another.''

---------------------------------

Scriptures say there is only one new year!!

Deut. 11 [12] A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year. מֵרֵשִׁית הַשָּׁנָה, וְעַד אַחֲרִית שָׁנָה

Exod. 12 [2] This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. ( this Passover )

הַחֹדֶשׁ הַזֶּה לָכֶם, רֹאשׁ חֳדָשִׁים : רִאשׁוֹן הוּא לָכֶם, לְחָדְשֵׁי הַשָּׁנָה

Exod. 13 [4] This day came ye out in the month Abib . הָאָבִיב (ha Aviv  approx. March/April)

Watch out for the traditions and commandments of men!

Most of the churches, synagogues and the messianic movement are filled with traditions of man.

Watch!

2 Tim. [5] But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

 Yeshua said:

Matt. 15 [2] Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

[3] But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

[4] For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

 [5] But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;

[6] And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

[7] Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

[8] This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

[9] But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

--------------

Mark 7:[1] Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.

[2] And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.

[3] For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.

[4] And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables.

[5] Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?

[6] He (Jesus) answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

[7] Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctines the commandments of men.

[8] For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.

[9] And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

[13] Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

--------------

Col. 2 [8] Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Messiah.

--------------

Tit. 1: [10] For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:

[11] Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.

[12] One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.

[13] This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

[14] Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

 -------------

Learn not the way of the heathen

Jer.10[ 2] Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen , and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

The customs of the people are vain

[3] For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. [4] They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

-------------------------------------------------

--------

So you see again by the scriptures:

1: It is the New Moon

2: ha Ethanim not Tishri

3: seventh month not the First month

4: a memorial of Blowing of Trumpets not Rosh Hashanah

5: It is the years's end, not the beginning

6: God has "One" Calendar, not "Two" as Judaism states

... That simple!
