יִשְׂרָאֵל
Today we use the Gregorian
calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s.
May -- Maia's month
Old French Mai
Old English Maius
Latin Maius "of Maia"
Latin Maius mensis
"month of Maia"
Maius has always had 31 days.
Maia (meaning "the great one") is the Italic goddess of spring, the daughter of Faunus, and wife of
Vulcan.
Today is May 11th,
2019 – in the 21 Century
Yehovah God has His own calendar, which is deleted from the world
We are now in the second
month of God called זִו Ziv, day 5 - "brightness"
1Kgs.6[1] And it came to pass in the four hundred and
eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt,
in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif - Ziv, זִו which is the second month, that he began to
build the house of Yehovah.

Our second
Sabbath of the seven
week journey again, spiritually speaking
In this journey we again observe
in memorial, spiritually to meet God to receive the commandments and to receive
the (Baptism) Spirit of God.
From slaves in Egypt (our
last lives of sin) to the people of God
Remember: We were told to count "Sabbaths" not omers like many people are
doing.
An "omer" is a "sheaf"
of barley
עמר omer - A dry measure of 1/10 ephah
(about 2 liters)
Lev.23 [15] And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath,
from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
[16] Even unto the
morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto Yehovah.
Hag Sh'vu-ot

Today’s Topic
Life is a short journey
Beware of sin!
Ecc. 9 [18] Wisdom is better than weapons
of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good.
Num. 32 [23] … be sure your sin will find you out.
What Scripture
says about our time here, on this earth:
Pss.90
[10] The days of our years are threescore
years and ten 70; and if by reason of
strength they be fourscore years 80, yet is their strength
labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly
away.
Job 7
[7] O remember that my life is
wind…
[8] The eye of him that hath seen me shall see me no more: thine eyes are upon me, and I am not.
[9] As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no more.
[10] He shall return no
more to his house, neither shall his place know him
any more
Job 8
[9] (For we are but of yesterday, and know
nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:)…
Pss.90
[9] For all our days are passed
away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is
told.
[12] So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
[14] O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we
may rejoice and be glad all our days.
Jas. 4
[13] Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will
go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
[14] Whereas ye know not
what shall be on the morrow.
For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
Matt.6
Yeshua said:
[25] Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or
what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the
life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
[26] Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow
not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
[27] Which of you by taking thought can add one
cubit unto his stature?
[28] And why take ye thought for
raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not,
neither do they spin:
[29] And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon
in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
[30] Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the
field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O
ye of little faith?
[31] Therefore take no
thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
[32] (For after all these things do the Gentiles
seek:) for
your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these things.
[33] But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and
his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
[34] Take therefore no
thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things
of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Prov.15
[24] The way of life is above to
the wise, that he may
depart from hell beneath.
Col.3 - Saul says:
[1] If ye then be risen with Messiah, seek those things which are above, where
Messiah sitteth on the right hand of
God.
[2] Set your affection on things
above, not on things on the earth.
[3] For ye are dead, and your life is
hid with Messiah in God.
[4] When Messiah, who is our life,
shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
1Chr.29 … our days on the
earth are as a shadow…
Heb.9 [27] And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment…

Bring
some souls with us is the best we can do
Gen.46 [15] These be the sons of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob in Padan-aram, with his daughter Dinah: all the souls
of his sons and his daughters were thirty and three.
[22] These are the sons of Rachel, which
were born to Jacob: all the
souls were fourteen.
[25] These are the sons of Bilhah,
which Laban gave unto Rachel his daughter, and she bare these unto Jacob: all the souls were seven.
[26] All the souls that came with Jacob into Egypt,
which came out of his loins, besides Jacob's sons' wives, all the souls were
threescore and six;
[27] And the sons of Joseph, which
were born him in Egypt, wee two souls: all the souls of the house of Jacob, which came into Egypt,
were threescore and ten.
Exod.1[5] And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were
seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt
already.
Take
some souls with you
Prov.11 [30] The fruit
of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that “winneth” souls is wise.

Dan.12
[1] And at
that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth
for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as
never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy
people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
[2]
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to
everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
[3]
And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of
the firmament; and they that turn many to
righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
Mal.2 …
[4] And ye shall know that I have
sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.
[5] My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I
gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my
name.
[6] The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was
not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from
iniquity.
[7] For the priest's lips should
keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth
…
Will we be ready?
Luke.14 [16] Then said he
unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:
[17]
And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for
all things are now ready.
[18]
And they all with one consent began to make excuse.
The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go
and see it: I pray thee have me excused.
[19]
And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and
I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.
[20]
And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
[21]
So that servant came, and shewed his lord these
things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out
quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor,
and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.
[22]
And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is
room.
[23]
And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel
them to come in, that my house may be filled.
[24]
For I say unto you, That none of those men
which were bidden shall taste of my supper.
[25] And
there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,
[26] If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and
mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own
life also, he cannot be my disciple.
[27] And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come
after me, cannot be my disciple.
Matt.25
[1] Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened
unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the
bridegroom.
[2]
And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
[3]
They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
[4]
But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
[5]
While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
[6]
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out
to meet him.
[7]
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
[8]
And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your
oil; for our lamps are gone out.
[9]
But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be
not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for
yourselves.
[10]
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went
in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
[11]
Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
[12]
But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
[13] Watch therefore, for ye
know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
How are you behaving yourselves in this life?
[14] For the kingdom of heaven is as a man
travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto
them his goods.
[15]
And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every
man according to his several ability; and straightway
took his journey.
[16]
Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and
made them other five talents.
[17]
And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
[18]
But he that had received one went and digged in the
earth, and hid his lord's money.
[19]
After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth
with them.
[20]
And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents,
saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents:
behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
[21]
His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and
faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy
lord.
[22]
He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two
other talents beside them.
[23]
His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful
servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy
lord.
[24]
Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not
sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
[25]
And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast
that is thine.
[26]
His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I
have not strawed:
[27]
Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the
exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
[28]
Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten
talents.
[29]
For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but
from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
[30]
And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping
and gnashing of teeth.
[31] When the Son of man shall
come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the
throne of his glory:
[32] And before
him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another,
as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
[33] And
he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
[34]
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my
Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
[35]
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was
thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
[36]
Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and
ye came unto me.
[37]
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
[38]
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or
naked, and clothed thee?
[39]
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
[40]
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as
ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it
unto me.
[41]
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into
everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
[42] For I was
an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty,
and ye gave me no drink:
[43]
I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick,
and in prison, and ye visited me not.
[44]
Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a
stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
[45]
Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto
you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to
me.
[46] And these shall go away into
everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
So…
