Christian-Jewish relations under fire - Determined Israeli politician gains support of top religious authorities in effort to end cooperation between Evangelical Christan world and Israel.

An Israeli politician who has for years sought to put an end to Christian-Jewish relations may now be making progress after gaining the ear of Israel's top religious authorities.

Jerusalem City Councilwoman Mina Fenton's past efforts have come to naught largely because Israel's religious authorities under the leadership of former chief rabbi Meir Lau were generally tolerant, and often supportive, of Christian-Jewish reconciliation and cooperation.

But Lau's replacement, Rabbi Yonah Metzger, has been described as far more political and suspicious in his outlook.

Earlier this month, Fenton and her allies in various anti-missionary Jewish groups managed to convince a top rabbinical court to 6/2/07 in an inter-faith women's conference put on by the parliamentary Christian Allies Caucus and two Jerusalem-based Christian ministries.

Police Approve Gay March in Jerusalem

May 27, 07 -

A half-year has passed, and traditional elements in Jerusalem are gearing up for another fight against yet another homosexual parade in the holy city.

Religious, traditional and conservative elements in Jerusalem say they will not accept another attempt at a homosexual parade in the holy city. This, just a few days after
the police announced its approval-in-principle of the parade - scheduled for next month.

This past Thursday, the police stated they do not object to the holding of a march sponsored by the Open House homosexual organization ; the organizers are still awaiting an official permit, however.

Don't look back

Some say, life is hard, it is vain to serve God and start to look back .

Looking back to Egypt ( your past life )

Exod. 14 [11 ] And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt , hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?

[12] Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt , saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.

Num. 14 [ 1 ] And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night. [2 ] And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness! [3] And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?[4 ] And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.

Gen. 19 [ 26 ] But his, ( Lot's ) wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

Heb. 10 [ 38 ] Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back , my soul shall have no pleasure in him. [ 39] But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

2 Pet. 2 [22 ] But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Ecc. 7 [10] Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not inquire wisely concerning this.

Prov. 26 [11 ] As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly .

Please WATCH all mixed multitudes around you

Exod.12 [ 38] And a mixed multitud e went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.

Num. 11

[1] And when the people complained , it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.
[
2] And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the LORD, the fire was quenched.
[
3] And he called the name of the place Taberah : because the fire of the LORD burnt among them.

Taberah - a place, burning

Deut.9 [22] And at Taberah , and at Massah, and at Kibroth-hattaavah , ye provoked the LORD to wrath.

[4] And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?

אספּסף a - sof - suf - gathered up together, that is, a promiscuous assemblage (of people): - mixt multitude.

[5] We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:
[6] But our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.

[7] And the manna was as coriander seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium.
[
8] And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil.
[
9] And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell upon it.

[10] Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased.
[
11] And Moses said unto the LORD, Wherefore hast thou afflicted thy servant? and wherefore have I not found favour in thy sight, that thou layest the burden of all this people upon me?
[
12] Have I conceived all this people? have I begotten them, that thou shouldest say unto me, Carry them in thy bosom, as a nursing father beareth the sucking child, unto the land which thou swarest unto their fathers?
[
13] Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat.
[
14] I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.
[
15] And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found favour in thy sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.
[
16] And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, ( This is not the Sanhedrin ) whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee.
[
17] And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.
[
18] And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and ye shall eat.

[19] Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days;
[
20] But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you: because that ye have despised the LORD which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt?

[21] And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month.
[
22] Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them?
[
23] And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD's hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.
[
24] And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the LORD, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round about the tabernacle.
[
25] And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.
[
26] But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the camp.
[
27] And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.
[
28] And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.
[
29] And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the LORD's people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!
[30] And Moses gat him into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.
[31] And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.
[
32] And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.
[
33] And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD smote the people with a very great plague.
[
34] And he called the name of that place Kibroth-hattaavah : because there they buried the people that lusted.
[
35] And the people journeyed from Kibroth-hattaavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth.

Kibroth-hattaavah - bury, graves of longing, lust

Neh. 13 [3 ] Now it came to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated from Israel all the mixed multitude. כָל־עֵרֶב

Prov. 22 [24 ] Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:[25] Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.

Jer. 10 [2 ] Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

Exod. 23 [2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:[ 3] Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.

1 Cor. 15 [33 ] Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

2 Cor. 6 [14 ] Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?[15] And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?[16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
[
17] Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,[18] And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Eph. 5 [11] And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.[12] For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

These scriptures below are not talking about the Sanhedrin or anyone in today's Judaism

Deut.17 [ 8] If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou arise, and get thee up into the place which the LORD thy God shall choose;
[9] And thou shalt come unto the priests the Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and inquire; and they shall shew thee the sentence of judgment:
[10] And thou shalt do according to the sentence, which they of that place which the LORD shall choose shall shew thee; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee:
[11] According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the right hand, nor to the left.

Deut.19 [15 ] One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.
[
16] If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong;
[
17] Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges , which shall be in those days;
[
18] And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother;
[
19] Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.
[
20] And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you.

Deut.26 [1 ] And it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein;
[
2] That thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name there.
[
3] And thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days , and say unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD thy God, that I am come unto the country which the LORD sware unto our fathers for to give us.
[
4] And the priest shall take the basket out of thine hand, and set it down before the altar of the LORD thy God.

Exod. 24 [1 ] And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off.

[9] Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel

Num. 11 [16 ] And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee.

[24] And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the LORD, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people , and set them round about the tabernacle. [ 25] And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.

Yeshua the Messiah said to the Pharisees,

" ye are not of God "

Zech. 8 [23] Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

This verse above is clearly not talking about Jews in Judaism who have not received the Messiah Yeshua. Please read below:

anti-missionaries are not of God, they deny that Yeshua is the Messiah and that He came in the flesh ( of Israel )

1 John. 2 [22 ] Who is a liar but he that "denieth that Jesus is the Messiah / Christ"? "He is antiMessiah / antichrist", that denieth the Father and "the Son" .

[23] Whosoever "denieth the Son", the same hath not the Father:

John 5 [23] That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

Yeshua the Messiah said to the Pharisees:

John. 8 [47] He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because "ye are not of God" .

1 John. 4 [3 ] And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is "not of God" : and this is that spirit of antichrist , whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.]

[6] We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us . Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

John. 3 [ 18 ] He that believeth on him ( Yeshua ) is not condemned:

but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

[36 ] He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and " he that believeth not the Son shall not see life"; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

1 John. 5 [1] Whosoever believeth that Yeshua / Jesus is the Messiah / Christ is born of God:

If you don't believe that Yeshua / Jesus is the Messiah / Christ you are not born of God

2 John. 1 [7 ] For many "deceivers" are entered into the world, who confess not that Yeshua is the Messiah / Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

[9] Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Messiah / Christ, "hath not God".

He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

[10] If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:[11] For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Rom. 11 [28] As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.

Please read all of Romans 11

Tit. 1 [14] Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
