The Lord has "no" pleasure in the death of the wicked. As you see, even though the people are wicked, He would rather they repent then die. The Lord is righteous! The Lord does not kill people to save others.

Ezek.18 [ 25] Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?

--------

Ezek.18 [32 ] For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

Ezek.33 [11 ] Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked ; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

2Pet.3 [ 9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish , but that all should come to repentance.

They did this unto themselves ( because of their hearts )

"this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed"

Isa.6[ 9] And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. [10] Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

Isa.29 [13 ] Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

Isa.44[ 18] They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

Acts.13 [46 ] Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

[47] For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
[
48] And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
[
49] And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.

Acts.28 [ 23] And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.
[
24] And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.

[25] And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,

[26] Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:

[27] For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

[28] Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.
[
29] And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, and had great reasoning among themselves.

Matt.13 [ 1] The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.
[
2] And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
[
3] And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
[
4] And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:
[
5] Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
[
6] And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
[
7] And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
[
8] But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
[
9] Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
[
10] And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
[
11] He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
[
12] For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
[
13] Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

[14] And "in them" is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias , which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

[15] For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed ; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.[16 ] But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

[23] But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it ; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Mark.8 [18 ] Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?

Jer.5 [21] Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:

Ezek.12 [2 ] Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house

Jer.6[16] Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Ezek.33[30] Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD. [31] And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. [32] And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not. [33] And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.
