January -- Janus's month

Middle English Januarie
Latin

Janus is the Roman god of gates and doorways, depicted with two faces looking in opposite directions. His festival month is January.

Januarius had 29 days, until Julius when it became 31 days long.

Yehovah has His own calendar

We are now in the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat /Sh'vat day 16

Zech.1[7] Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of Yehovah unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet….

Today’s Topic: Order in a congregation

Shalom, I am Minister Malachi

I am the elder of One in Messiah Congregation

Below, please find below information on how to handle, treat an Elder

1Pet.5

[1] The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Messiah, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
[2] Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
[3] Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
[4] And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that
fadeth not away.
[5] Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder...Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God
resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

1Tim.5[1] Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;

[17] Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

[18] For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

[19] Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses

*** [20] Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

Matt.18 a 4 step program

[15] Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

[16] But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

[17] And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: (the elder, minister)

but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

Rom.13

[1] Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

[2] Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

[3] For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil.

Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
[4] For he is the minister of God to thee for good.

But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain:for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

[5] Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

------------------------

Forgiveness

Matt.6[14] For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:[15] But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Mark.11[25] And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.[26] But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Matt.18 [21] Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?[22] Yeshua saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

Let’s talk about disorder

 Satan and his rebellion

Satan always tries to win others over to himself.

Satan possess people

Ezek.28

[1] The word of Yehovah came again unto me, saying,

[2] Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord Yehovah;

Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas;

yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:

[3] Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:

[4] With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:

[5] By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:
---------------

[6] Therefore thus saith the Lord Yehovah; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;

[7] Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
[
8] They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.
[
9] Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.
[
10] Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Yehovah.

-----------------------

[11] Moreover the word of Yehovah came unto me, saying,

[12] Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

[13] Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

[14] Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

[15] Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

[16] By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned:

therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

[17] Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness:

I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
[
18] Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick;

therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

[19] All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

--------------------------

More disorder - Satan gather his followers

2Cor.11 [13]false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Messiah.

[14] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

[15] Therefore it is no great thing if his (Satan’s) ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness;

whose end shall be according to their works.

Rev.12

[1] And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
[
2] And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

[3] And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
[
4] And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth:

and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

[5] And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

[6] And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

[7] And there was war in heaven:

Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
[
8] And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

[9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

-------------------------

[10] And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ:

for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

[11] And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

[12] Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them.

-----------------------

Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

[13] And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

[14] And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

[15] And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

[16] And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

[17] And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Yeshua the Messiah.

-------------------------------

More disorder - other people like Satan that don’t respect order in an assembly or the leader

Num.12

[1] And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

[2] And they said, Hath Yehovah indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us?

And Yehovah heard it.

[3] (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)

[4] And Yehovah spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out.

[5] And Yehovah came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth.

[6] And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I Yehovah will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.

[7] My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.

[8] With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of Yehovah shall he behold:

wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

[9] And the anger of Yehovah was kindled against them; and he departed.

[10] And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.

[11] And Aaron said unto Moses, Alas, my lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sin upon us, wherein we have done foolishly, and wherein we have sinned.

[12] Let her not be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he cometh out of his mother's womb.

[13] And Moses cried unto Yehovah, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee.

[14] And Yehovah said unto Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again.

[15] And Miriam was shut out from the camp seven days: and the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again.

---------------------------

More disorder - More people from the congregation that don’t respect the leader nor any order.

Num.16

[1] Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:

[2] And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:

[3] And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and Yehovah is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of Yehovah?

----------------------

[4] And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face:

[5] And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow Yehovah will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.

[6] This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company;
[
7] And put fire therein, and put incense in them before Yehovah to morrow: and it shall be that the man whom Yehovah doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.

[8] And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi:
[
9] Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of Yehovah, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?

[10] And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also?

[
11] For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against Yehovah: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him?

[12] And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up:

[13] Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?

[14] Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.

[15] And Moses was very wroth, and said unto Yehovah, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.

[16] And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy company before Yehovah, thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow:[17] And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring ye before Yehovah every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer.

[18] And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses and Aaron.

[19] And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of Yehovah appeared unto all the congregation.

[20] And Yehovah spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
[
21] Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.

[22] And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?
[
23] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
[
24] Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.

[25] And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.

[26] And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.

[27] So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.

[28] And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that Yehovah hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.

[29] If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then Yehovah hath not sent me.

[30] But if Yehovah make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked Yehovah.

[31] And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:
[
32] And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.

[33] They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

[34] And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.

[35] And there came out a fire from Yehovah, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.

[36] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
[
37] Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter thou the fire yonder; for they are hallowed.
[
38] The censers of these sinners against their own souls, let them make them broad plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them before Yehovah, therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel.

[39] And Eleazar the priest took the brasen censers, wherewith they that were burnt had offered; and they were made broad plates for a covering of the altar:
[
40] To be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before Yehovah; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as Yehovah said to him by the hand of Moses.

------------------------------------------

[41] But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of Yehovah.

[
42] And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of Yehovah appeared.[43] And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation.

[44] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
[
45] Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.

[46] And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from Yehovah; the plague is begun.

[47] And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.

[48] And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.

[49] Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah.
[50] And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed.

Your testimony

Matt.5 [13] Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

[14] Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
[15] Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

[16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

-----------------

More disorder - Some people decide matters on their own

John.8[17] It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.

Deut.19[15] One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth:

at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

Scripture says:

Prov.11[14] Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellers there is safety.

Prov.15[22] Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellers they are established.

Prov.24[6] For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellers there is safety.

Now this below is done on the social media forums like face book etc.

Acts.5 [36] For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought

[37] After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.

------------------------

In closing:

Simply put, Paul say:

1Cor.14[40] Let all things be done decently and in order. (According to the Scriptures)

Acts.20

[28] Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

[29] For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

[30] Also of your own selves shall men (or women) arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

[31] Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
[32] And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
[33] I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
[34] Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.

[35] I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Yeshua, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

[36] And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.

[37] And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul's neck, and kissed him,

[38] Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.
