Shabbat Shalom

The Gregorian calendar (Pope Gregory, 1500's) – August 1, 2009

--------------

 We restore the calendar of God

We are now in the 5th month of God, no name in scripture – 9th day

 --------------

Question: Why should we not call the 5th month AV?

Answer: Simple, NO

Question: Why?

Answer: You shall not add neither shall you diminish from any word which YHVH commands you

Deut. 4 [2] Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Deut. 12 [32] What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Prov. 30 [6] Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

--------------

Question: Why are we here today?

Answer: We were told to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

The 4th Commandment is a part of the covenant given to us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan

Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

[11] For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Topic – Part 2 - Prove all things by the Word

Last week I told you people tell me all the time, all churches and synagogues say they are the only true right one.

Whom should I believe? Where should I attend?

Again - Prove all things with the Word

----------------------------------------------

I have comprised a "short checklist" of scriptural credentials you need to "check off" as you carefully choose what congregation you attend and who you choose to listen too.

I received some opposition this week with some of the topics, which is to be expected. However, I say again, “Prove all things with the Word”

Let’s go over this checklist again J

-------------------------------------

Go down this short checklist with the church or synagogue you attend.

Please, before you read this checklist, just remember:

Jer. 16 [19] O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say,

Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

------------

This checklist is in no certain order.

1 - Does the church / synagogue believe Yeshua is the Messiah, the Word of YHVH made flesh, Savior of the world?

(Make sure they don't believe Yeshua is just some man or just a prophet)

------------

2 -

A - Does the church / synagogue keep the 10 commandments?

Especially look for the 4th commandment, the Sabbath, which is on Friday sundown until Saturday sundown - no work, no buying and selling.

B -What is the main day your church or synagogue meets, Saturday or Sunday? (Should be Saturday) Sunday is the first day of the week to work.

C - Does the church / synagogue say it is a “commandment” to light candles on the Sabbath? (very false – no such commandment in scripture)

D - Does the church / synagogue welcome in the Sabbath Queen on the Sabbath? (very false)

Judaism has many other false traditions, beware!

Don't be tricked and brought into a "messianic" group that follows Judaism - (hundreds of flavors).

------------

3 - Does the church / synagogue know and observe the "Feasts of the Lord" (not from Judaism) or do they do pagan holidays?

Some pagan holidays and observances not to observe:

Christmas

Chanukah (same time as Christmas) – on the 25th of Kislev are the days of Chanukah, which are eight... these were appointed a Festival with Hillel [prayers of praise] and thanksgiving. - Shabbat 21b, Babylonian Talmud (we don't follow)

Don't buy a 8 or 9 candlestick Menorah, unscriptural, no 8 days of oil in the Maccabee stories – made up

Easter

Valentine’s Day

Saint Patrick Day

Thanksgiving

Halloween

Fat Tuesday

Lent

Conformation

Ash Wednesday - too many Catholic feasts to list

Kwanzaa

Judaism's Rosh Hashanah, New Year and Passovers are wrong (don't follow Jewish calendars, they have made-up names)

Bar or Bat - Mitzvahs

Tu B' Shevat - too many feasts in Judaism to list

Tisha B'Av

(Just anything you can't verify by the scriptures)

------------

4 - Does the church / synagogue know about the "7 Sabbaths" in the feasts of YHVH?

------------

5 - What version of scripture is used at the church / synagogue? (any version other then the KJV in English is erroneous. This will show if the leader there did his or her homework on bible versions in English) There hundreds of versions to deceive you.

We do believe in the Two Houses Of Jacob, Israel, in scripture that will be brought back together and innumerable amount of nations, gentiles will the Body.

2 - Also don't be tricked into believing you "might be" Yosef or Ephraim. (You never can prove that anyway, the name Ephraim shows up "only once" in the Gospels and letters only as a city)

Read:

Rev. 7 [4] And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.  (Ephraim is not named there)

[9] After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

Time to be "proved"

YHVH proves you

Exod. 16 [4] Then said YHVH unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.

---------------

Exod. 20 [20] And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.

---------------

Deut. 8 [2] And thou shalt remember all the way which YHVH thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

[16] Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;

---------------

Deut. 13 [3] Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for YHVH your God proveth you, to know whether ye love YHVH your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

---------------

Judg. 2 [18] And when YHVH raised them up judges, then YHVH was with the judge, and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it repented YHVH because of their groanings by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed them.

[19] And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way.

[20] And the anger of YHVH was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice;

[21] I also will not henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations which Joshua left when he died:

[22] That through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of YHVH to walk therein, as their fathers did keep it, or not.

---------------

Judg. 3 [1] Now these are the nations which YHVH left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan;

[2] Only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing thereof;

[3] Namely, five lords of the Philistines, and all the Canaanites, and the Sidonians, and the Hivites that dwelt in mount Lebanon, from mount Baal-hermon unto the entering in of Hamath.

[4] And they were to prove Israel by them, to know whether they would hearken unto the commandments of the LORD, which he commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.

Pss. 26 [2] Examine me, O YHVH, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

Pss. 66 [10] For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.

-----------

Prove YHVH

Mal. 3 [8] Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

[9] Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

[10] Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith YHVH of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

[11] And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith YHVH of hosts.

[12] And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith YHVH of hosts.

Tit.3 [9] But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

[10] A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

[11] Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

They are unprofitable and vain.

-----------

Paul instructs Timothy:

2 Tim. 2 [23] But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

[24] And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

[25] In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

[26] And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Things and people to avoid and shun

2 Tim. 2 [16] But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

[17] And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;

[18] Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

Profane babblings

Vain babblings

-----------

Fables and endless genealogies

Neither give heed

1 Tim. 1 [3] As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,

 [4] Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

-----------

Any man brings - questions and strifes of words

Withdraw thyself

1Tim. 6 [1] Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.

[2] And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.

[3] If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

[4] He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

[5] Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

[6] But godliness with contentment is great gain.
[7] For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
[8] And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
[9] But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
[10] For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

[11] But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
[12] Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
-----------

Other things to avoid

Rom. 16 17] Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

[18] For they that are such serve not our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

-----------

Prov. 4 [14] Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.

[15] Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.

-----------

1 Cor. 7 [2] Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

-----------

2 Thes. 3 [6] Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

[7] For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;
[8] Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
[9] Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
[10] For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
[11] For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
[12] Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
[13] But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

[14] And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

[15] Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

in thy name have cast out devils?

have we not prophesied in thy name?

in thy name done many wonderful works?

I know you not whence ye are

Matt. 7

 [21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;

 but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

[22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?

and in thy name have cast out devils?

and in thy name done many wonderful works?

[23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Luke 13

[24] Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

[25] When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

[26] Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.

[27] But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

[28] There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
