Shabbat Shalom

April 28, 2007 - We are now in the month Zif, which is the second month, 10th day ( end of April / May ).

Judaism is wrong by calling this month Iyyar. Iyyar is not in the Hebrew Scriptures.

1Kgs.6[1] And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.

Made-up holidays, not Holy Days

Last week, on the Gregorian calendar was "Administrative Assistant Day, Arbor Day.

Arbor Day ? - The first Arbor Day took place on April 10, 1872 in Nebraska. It was the brainchild of Julius Sterling Morton (1832-1902), a Nebraska journalist and politician originally from Michigan. Throughout his long and productive career, Morton worked to improve agricultural techniques in his adopted state and throughout the United States when he served as President Grover Cleveland's Secretary of Agriculture. But his most important legacy is Arbor Day.

Last Sun., April 22 and Mon., April 23, according to Judaism was Yom Hazikaron ( Memorial Day) and Israeli Independence Day (Yom Ha'atzmaut)

Yom Hazikaron ( Memorial Day) - Israel Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Terrorism Remembrance Day) is an Israeli national holiday.

Yom Ha'atzmaut - Israeli Independence Day , commemorates the declaration of independence of Israel in 1948 .

It falls on the 5th of the Jewish lunar month of Iyar ,? celebrating the declaration of the state of Israel by David Ben-Gurion in Tel Aviv on May 14, 1948 and the end of the British Mandate of Palestine ( ? ).

Iyar is made-up

What about the Feasts of the Lord as prescribed in the Scriptures

on the right day ,

on the right month ,

and on the right name of the month ?

It seems to be too difficult for Judaism or the rest of the world to get the TRUE information from the Scriptures.

Even some secular dates are wrong.

Dan.10 - [21] But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth:

-------------

Hos.4 - [1] Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land,

nor mercy,

nor knowledge of God in the land.
