 Let’s pray

--------------------------------

Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s.

Today is September 28th 2013

------------------

Yehovah has His own calendar

We are now in the 7th month called ha Ethanim – 21th day

הָ אֵ תָ נִים

The alef and tav, first and last (forever)

Ha Ethanim means “enduring” - the permanent brooks

הָאֵתָנִים ha Ethanim - Always with the article ha, the - permanent brooks;

Ethanim = enduring - seventh month, corresponding end of Sept, Oct. - so named because permanent streams still flowed - plural of H386 below:

H386איתן  eythan - perpetual, constant, perennial, ever-flowing, ever-flowing (of a stream), permanence, permanent, enduring (figuratively)

Most people have never heard of ha Ethanim from scripture, they are brainwashed by Judaism to say Tishri which is nowhere in scripture.

Tishri and the made up Rosh Hashanah (New Years) are from the pagan Babylonian influence that came upon the Jews at that time.

The adoption of some of the Babylonian month names come from the Talmud, Rosh Hashanah.

Here is the verse for ha ethanim:

1Kgs.8 [2] And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month ha Ethanim, which is the seventh month.

בְּיֶרַח הָאֵתָנִים, בֶּחָג--הוּא, הַחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי

Also it is the last day of Feast of tabernacles חַג הַסֻּכּוֹת

חַג הָאָסִף  feast of ingathering

A rehearsal when Messiah comes back, the last gathering in someone’s life time in the future.

[35] On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
[36] Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you
;
and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.

[37] These are the feasts of Yehovah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations,

to offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, everything upon his day:

[38] Beside the sabbaths of Yehovah, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto Yehovah.

[39] Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto Yehovah seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

[40] And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before Yehovah your God seven days.
[41] And ye shall keep it a feast unto Yehovah seven days in the year.

It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.

[42] Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:[43] That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am Yehovah your God.

Yeshua and the Feast of Tabernacles

John.7[1] After these things Yeshua walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.
[
2] Now the Jews' feast of tabernacles was at hand.
[
3] His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.
[
4] For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.
[5] For neither did his brethren believe in him.

[6] Then Yeshua said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready.
[
7] The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
[
8] Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come.
[
9] When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee.
[
10] But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.
[
11] Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?
[
12] And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.
[
13] Howbeit no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews.
[
14] Now about the midst of the feast Yeshua went up into the temple, and taught.
[
15] And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?
[
16] Yeshua answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
[
17] If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.[18] He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.[19] Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?[20] The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?

[21] Yeshua answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.
[22] Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.
[23] If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?[24] Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

[25] Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?
[26] But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Messiah?
[27] Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Messiah cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.

[28] Then cried Yeshua in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.[29] But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.

[30] Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.[31] And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Messiah cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done?
[32] The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him.

[33] Then said Yeshua unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.[34] Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come.

[35] Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?
[36] What manner of saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come?

[37] In the last day, that great day of the feast, Yeshua stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

[38] He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.[39] (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Yeshua was not yet glorified.)

[40] Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.41] Others said, This is the Messiah. But some said, Shall Messiah come out of Galilee?[42] Hath not the scripture said, That Messiah cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?

[43] So there was a division among the people because of him.
[44] And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.
[45] Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him?
[46] The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.
[47] Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived?
[48] Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees
believed on him?
[49] But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed.

[50] Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Yeshua by night, being one of them,) Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth?

[52] They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.[53] And every man went unto his own house.

Some other verses of the great day

Zeph.1[14] The great day of Yehovah is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of Yehovah: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

Jude.1[6] And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Rev.5[1] And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

Rev.6[1] And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see:

[12] And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
[
13] And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
[
14] And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
[
15] And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
[
16] And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

[17] For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

-----------------

Rev.16 [13] And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. [14] For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Lev.14[1] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
[
2] This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing:

[9] But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.[10] And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.[11] And the priest that maketh him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before Yehovah, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

Lev.15[1] And Yehovah spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.

[13] And when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.

[14] And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before Yehovah unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and give them unto the priest:
[15] And the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him before Yehovah for his issue.

Lev.22[26] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

[27] When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto Yehovah.

Num.6[1] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto Yehovah:

[8] All the days of his separation he is holy unto Yehovah.
[9] And if any man die very suddenly by him, and he hath defiled the head of his consecration; then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it.
[10] And
on the eighth day he shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

[11] And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and make an atonement for him, for that he sinned by the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day.

--------------------

2Pet.2[5] And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

Luke.9[28] And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.

[29] And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.
[30] And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:
[31] Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.
[32] But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.
[33] And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Yeshua, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.
[34] While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud.
[35] And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.
[36] And when the voice was past, Yeshua was found alone. And they kept it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.

John.20[26] And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Yeshua, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

[27] Then saith he to Thomas, reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
[28] And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

[29] Yeshua saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

[30] And many other signs truly did Yeshua in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

But these are written, that ye might believe that Yeshua is the Messiah, the Son (Word) of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
