 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Col.1 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teach ing every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
Col.3[ 16] Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teach ing and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Deut.4[ 9] Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;
 Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee.
 (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.
Deut.6[ 12] Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
Deut.8[ 11] Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:

 And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

2Kgs.17[ 38] And the covenant that I have made with you ye shall not forget ; neither shall ye fear other gods.
Job.8[ 13] So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish:
Pss.50[ 16] But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?[17 ] Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee. When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.[ 19] Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.[20 ] Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son. These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. Now consider this, ye that forget God , lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.[ 23] Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.
Pss.78[ 7] That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:
 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
 For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.
 I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.
 My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.
 I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts.
 Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.
 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:
Prov.3[ 1] My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
Prov.4[ 5] Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
Isa.51[ 12] I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;[13 ] And forget test the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
Jer.2 Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number.
23] Am I a God at hand, saith
the LORD, and not a God afar off?
 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.
 I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.
 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.
 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.
 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams , saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.
 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.
 And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of the LORD, I will even punish that man and his house.
 Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother, What hath the LORD answered? and, What hath the LORD spoken?
 And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.
 Thus shalt thou say to the prophet, What hath the LORD answered thee? and, What hath the LORD spoken?
 But since ye say, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus saith the LORD; Because ye say this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of the LORD;
 Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of my presence:
 And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.
