Today’s Topic:

The beginning and the end

 to everything

A few verses of the beginning

Gen.1[1] In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Gen.10 [10] And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

Exod.12 [2] This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

Num.28 [11] And in the beginnings of your months you shall offer a burnt offering unto Yehovah; two young bullocks, and one ram, seven lambs of the first year without spot;

Deut.11 [12] A land which Yehovah your God careth for: the eyes of Yehovah your God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.

Pss.111 [10] The fear of Yehovah is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

Pss.119 [160] Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of your righteous judgments endures forever.

Prov.1 [7] The fear of Yehovah is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Prov.8 [22] The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. [23] I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.

Prov.9 [10] The fear of Yehovah is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Prov.17 [14] The beginning of strife is as when one lets out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with.

Prov.20 [21] An inheritance may be gotten hastily at the beginning; but the end thereof shall not be blessed.

Ecc.3 [11] He had made everything beautiful in his time: also he had set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

Ecc.7 [8] Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

Ecc.10[13] The beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness: and the end of his talk is mischievous madness.

Isa.40 [21] Have you not known? Have you not heard? Had it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? [22] It is he that sits upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretches out the heavens as a curtain, and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in:
[23] That brings the princes to nothing; he makes the judges of the earth as vanity.

Isa.41 [4] Who had wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I Yehovah, the first, and with the last; I am he.

[26] Who had declared from the beginning, that we may know? And beforetime, that we may say, He is righteous? Yea, there is none that shows, yea, there is none that declares, yea, there is none that hears your words.

Isa.46 [10] Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

Isa.48 [3] I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I showed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.

[5] I have even from the beginning declared it to you; before it came to pass I showed it you: lest you should say, Mine idol had done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, had commanded them.

Isa.64 [4] For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither had the eye seen, O God, beside you, what he had prepared for him that waits for him.

A few verses of the end

Gen.6 [13] And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Gen.8 [3] And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.

Deut.9 [10] And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,[11] And it came to pass at the end of forty days and forty nights, that Yehovah gave me the two tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant.

Deut.15 [1] At the end of every seven years you shall make a release.

Pss.19 [4] Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them had he set a tabernacle for the sun, [5] Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices as a strong man to run a race. [6] His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

Pss.22 [27] All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto Yehovah: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before you.

Pss.30 [12] To the end that my glory may sing praise to you, and not be silent. Yehovah my God, I will give thanks unto you forever.

Pss.37 [37] Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. [38] But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.

Pss.46 [9] He makes wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaks the bow, and cuts the spear in sunder; he burns the chariot in the fire.

[5] By terrible things in righteousness will you answer us, O God of our salvation; who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:
[6] Which by his strength sets fast the mountains; being girded with power:
[7] Which stills the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.

Pss.67 [7] God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.

Pss.98 [3] He had remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Pss.119 [33] Teach me, Yehovah, the way of your statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.

[112] I have inclined mine heart to perform your statutes alway, even unto the end.

Pss.135 [7] He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he makes lightning for the rain; he brings the wind out of his treasuries.

Prov.14 [12] There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. [13] Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness.

Prov.20 [21] An inheritance may be gotten hastily at the beginning; but the end thereof shall not be blessed.

Prov.25 [8] Go not forth hastily to strive, lest you know not what to do in the end thereof, when your neighbor had put you to shame. [9] Debate your cause with thy neighbor himself; and discover not a secret to another:
[10] Lest he that hears it put thee to shame, and your infamy turn not away.

Prov.30 [4] Who had ascended up into heaven, or descended? who had gathered the wind in his fists? who had bound the waters in a garment? who had established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if you canst tell?

Ecc.3 [11] He had made everything beautiful in his time: also he had set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God makes from the beginning to the end. [12] I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.

Ecc.7 [2] It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart.

[4] And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:
[5] Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
[6] And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
[7] And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
[8] But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
[9] Who had ears to hear, let him hear.

Matt.28 [19] Go you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
