The "church" did not start in the book of Acts.

The are not "two bodies", the church and Israel, as stated by many pastors and christians.

Acts 7:38 This is he ( Moses ), that was in the "church in the wilderness" with the angel ( Messiah ) which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

1 Corinthians 10:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink : for they drank of that spiritual Rock / Messiah that followed them: and that Rock was Messiah /Christ.

9: Neither let us tempt Messiah / Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

What is the meaning of the word ekklesia in Greek?

A calling out, a meeting of believers in Messiah Yeshua on earth or saints in heaven or both - assembly, church.

1 - An assembly of the people convened for worship in a religious meeting. Those who are united into one body.

2 - The whole body of believers scattered throughout the earth.

3 - Also the assembly of faithful believers already dead and received into heaven.

one body, one Spirit , one hope of your calling , One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, One law, One ordinance, "The cup" of blessing which we bless , is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? "The bread" which we break , is it not the communion of the body of Christ? for we are all partakers of that "one bread ", one God, the Father, one Lord Jesus Christ , one mediator, one breath, one king , one nation , one shepherd , one fold, one mind, one mouth, one accord, one heart , one soul, one voice, one consent, one flesh, the Holy One of Israel, the mighty One of Israel
