Today we use the Gregorian calendar
from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s.
Today is April 28, 2019 – in the 21 Century
Yehovah God has
His own calendar, which is deleted from the world
We are now in the 1st
month of the God of Israel called Nisan, נִיסָן and ha aviv הָאָבִיב – 22th day
Today’s Topic
The resurrection of Yeshua
the Messiah
Some people might ask you,
is Yeshua the Messiah alive today?
Beyond a doubt, this is the most important
question in the world to each man, woman and child in the world today; actually
for that matter, for every person who
has ever lived or whoever will be born.
On this issue of whether or not Messiah was
raised from the dead revolves the truth or falsity of what we believe as well
as all mankind’s hope of a future life with God in eternity.
This is why it's so important to know the word of
God so you can point out all the witnesses that claim they saw His appearing the
many times.
Please read all of first Corinthians chapter 15 - very
important!
As Paul states:
1Cor.15
[1]
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you,
which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
[2] By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you,
unless ye have believed in vain.
[3] For I delivered unto you first of all that
which I also received, how that Messiah died for our sins according to the
scriptures;
[4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according
to the scriptures:
[5] And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
[6] After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren
at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen
asleep.
[7] After that, he was seen of James; then of all the
apostles.
[8] And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born
out of due time.
To know Yeshua fulfilled the Torah is
vital for every believer in Messiah
Yeshua professes:
Luke.24 [44] And he said unto them, These are the words which I
spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all
things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses (Torah), and in the
prophets, and in the psalms (all the rest of
scripture), concerning
Me.
Lev.23
[9]
And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
[10] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into
the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your
harvest unto the priest:
[11] And he
shall wave the sheaf before Yehovah, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.
The
morrow after the Sabbath is the 1st day of the week, known as SUNDAY
[12] And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the
sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt
offering unto Yehovah.
[13] And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine
flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto Yehovah for a sweet savour:
and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.
[14] And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched
corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering
unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in
all your dwellings.
[15] And ye shall count unto you from the morrow
after the sabbath, from the
day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
[16] Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a
new meat offering unto Yehovah.
The
morrow after the Sabbath is the 1st day of the week, known as SUNDAY
[17]
Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they
shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto Yehovah.
[18]
And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first
year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering
unto Yehovah, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an
offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto Yehovah.
[19] Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering,
and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings.
[20] And the priest shall wave them with the
bread of the firstfruits for a
wave offering before Yehovah, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to Yehovah
for the priest.
[21]
And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it
may be an holy convocation unto you:
ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your
generations.
[22] And when ye reap the
harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy
field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest:
thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am Yehovah your
God.
Paul
declares, Yeshua is the firstfruits
1 Cor.15 [20] But now is Messiah risen from the dead, and
become the firstfruits of them that slept.
[23] But
every man in his own order: Messiah the firstfruits; afterward they that are Messiah's at his coming.
Yeshua was the
first to rise from the dead with an incorruptible body
If you think Yeshua rose on Saturday or if you do the first fruits on
Saturday, you throw off the date for the Feast of Week, 50 days, Pentecost
which is on the 1st day of the week, known as SUNDAY,
and is a Sabbath as it states in Leviticus chapter 23.
Below are
some other witnesses that also proved Yeshua rose from the dead
Matt.28
[1]
In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the
first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see
the sepulchre.
[2]
And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the
angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone
from the door, and sat upon it.
[3] His
countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
[4] And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
[5] And
the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye:
for I know that ye seek Yeshua, which was crucified.
[6] He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
[7] And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him:
lo, I have told you.
[8]
And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great
joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
[9] And
as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Yeshua met
them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and
worshipped him.
[10] Then
said Yeshua unto them, Be not afraid: go tell
my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
Now Satan tries to get in…
[11] Now
when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.
[12] And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,
[13] Saying, Say ye,
His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.
[14] And if this
come to the governor's ears, we will
persuade him, and secure you.
[15] So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is
commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
[16] Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a
mountain where Yeshua had appointed them.
[17] And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
[18] And Yeshua came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
[19] Go ye therefore, and teach all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the
Holy Ghost:
[20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have
commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Mark.16 [6] And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek
Yeshua of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen;
he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
Luke.24 [1] Now upon the first day of the
week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others
with them.
[2] And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
[3] And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Yeshua.
[4] And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout,
behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
[5] And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said
unto them,
Why seek ye the living among the dead?
[6] He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
As we read the Gospels we can easily see these are all independent
accounts of the life, ministry, death and resurrection of the Messiah. It
simply tells us there was no collusion. There are no contradictions that we
have found showing the accounts are actually true to fact. Some of the Gospels
have limited information that is why we read all the Gospels to put the whole
story together in one picture.
Also remember when you read the Gospels and the letters, they can not contradict Torah or the prophets,
known as TaNaK.
Yeshua himself declares:
Rev.1 [18] I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of
hell and of death.
Rev.2 [8] And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write;
These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
Take this for whatever its worth:
This
below, is from a source outside of Scripture, from a Jewish historian, Flavius
Josephus - 37 A.D. to about 110 A.D.
In book
18, chapter 3, paragraph 3, we read:
Now there
was about this time Yeshua, and wise man, if it be lawful to call him a man, he
was a doer wonderful works, a teacher of such men as receive the truth with
pleasure. He drew over to him both many of the Jews and many of the Gentiles.
He was (the) Messiah; and when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men
amongst us, had condemned him to the cross, those that loved Him at the first
did not forsake Him, for he appeared to them alive
again the third day, as the divine prophets had foretold these and
10,000 other wonderful things concerning Him. And the tribe of
Christians, so named from Him, is not extinct, at this day.
Other verses
1Cor.15 [3]
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Messiah died for our sins according to the scriptures;
[4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the
third day according to the scriptures:
2Cor.5 [14]
For the love of Messiah constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one
died for all, then were all dead:
[15] And
that he died for all, that they which live
should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him
which died for them, and rose again.
1Thes.5 [10]
Who died for us, that, whether we wake or
sleep, we should live together with him.
In closing:
Finally, we shall read the
book of Jonah and sing some psalms if time permits.
