Shabbat Shalom

שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם

Today, we sadly use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s.

Today’s date is Nov.26, 2022

November -- the ninth month – now the 11th month

Middle English Novembre
Latin November
Latin
Novembris mensis "nineth month"

Novembris had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 30 days long.

New Moon

The God of Israel has His own Calendar: we are now in the 9th month of God, Chislev   כִסְלֵֽו - in English, it is called Chisleu - day 1

Zechariah 7:1 And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu

This last week we ask another person about the 2 great lights God made, the answer was the same, the sun and the stars again.  L

I guess they are not listening to the question, 2 great lights, not the billions of stars God made.

Here are a few backup scriptures:

Pss.104 [19] He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows his going down. (Sunset)

  עָשָׂ֣ה יָ֭רֵחַ לְמוֹעֲדִ֑ים שֶׁ֜֗מֶשׁ יָדַ֥ע מְבוֹאֽוֹ׃

Gen.1 [14] And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

[15] And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
[16] And God made
two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. (and the stars)

[17] And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
[18] And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

As we all know there are billions of stars…

[19] And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Saul / Paul explained this:

1Cor.15 [41] There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differs from another star in glory. (More than two stars, lol)

Oh well…

Some news:

Today’s Topic:

The wicked

As you can see, not so wicked awesome below,

Let’s read:

Gen.6 [5] And Yehovah saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the youghts of his heart was only evil continually. [6] And it repented Yehovah that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
[
7] And Yehovah said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repented me that I have made them.

How do you think He feels now?

Gen.13 [13] …the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before Yehovah exceedingly.

Gen.38 [7] And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of Yehovah; and Yehovah slew him.

Exod.23[1] You shall not raise a false report: put not your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

[7] Keep you far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay you not: for I will not justify the wicked.

Lev.18 [17] You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shall you take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.

Lev.19 [29] Do not prostitute your daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.

Lev.20 [14] And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.

[17] And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.

Deut.17

[1] You shall not sacrifice unto Yehovah your God any bullock, or sheep, wherein is blemish, or any evilfavoredness for that is an abomination unto Yehovah your God.
[2] If there be found among you, within any of your gates which Yehovah your God gives you, man or woman, that had wrought wickedness in the sight of Yehovah your God, in transgressing his covenant,
[3] And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;
[4] And it be told you, and you hast heard of it, and inquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel:
[5] Then shall you bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that
wicked thing, unto your gates, even that man or that woman, and shall stone them with stones, till they die.

Pss.119[53] Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake your law.

[61] The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten your law.

[95] The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider your testimonies.

[110] The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from your precepts.

[119] You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love your testimonies.

[155] Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not your statutes.

Pss.129 [4] Yehovah is righteous: he had cut asunder the cords of the wicked.

Pss.139 [19] Surely you will slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, you bloody men.

[24] And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Pss.140 [4] Keep me, Yehovah, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.

[8] Grant not, Yehovah, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.

Pss.141 [4] Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.

[10] Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.

Pss.145[20] Yehovah preserves all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

Pss.146 [9] Yehovah preserves the strangers; he relieves the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turns upside down.

Pss.147 [6] Yehovah lifts up the meek: he casts the wicked down to the ground.

Prov.2
[
12] To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaks froward things;
[
13] Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
[
14] Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;
[
15] Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:
[
16] To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;
[
17] Which forsakes the guide of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God.
[
18] For her house inclines unto death, and her paths unto the dead.
[
19] None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.
[
20] That you may walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.

Prov.6 [12] A naughty person, a wicked man, walks with a froward mouth.

[16] These six things does Yehovah hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
[
17] A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
[
18] An heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
[
19] A false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brethren.

Pss.73

[1] Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.
[
2] But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
[
3] For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
[
4] For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.
[
5] They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.

[6] Therefore pride compasses them about as a chain; violence covers them as a garment.

[7] Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.
[
8] They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.
[
9] They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walks through the earth.

[10] Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.
[
11] And they say, how does God know, and is there knowledge in the most High?

Prov.29 [23] A man's pride shall bring him low: but honor shall uphold the humble in spirit.

Mark 7

Yeshua said:

[20] That which cometh out of the man, that defiles the man.
[
21] For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed:

evil thoughts,

adulteries,

fornications,

murders,

[22] Thefts,

covetousness,

wickedness,

deceit,

lasciviousness,

an evil eye,

blasphemy,

pride,

foolishness,

[23] All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

Ecc.3

[16] And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.

[17] I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

Ecc.7

***[15] All things have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perishes in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongs his life in his wickedness.

[16] Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why should you destroy yourself?

[17] Be not over much wicked, neither be foolish: why should you die before your time?

[25] I applied mine heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the reason of things, and to know the wickedness of folly, even of foolishness and madness:

[26] And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleases God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.

[27] Behold, this have I found, said the preacher, counting one by one, to find out the account:

[28] Which yet my soul seeks, but I find not: one man among a thousand have I found; but a woman among all those have I not found.

[29] Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.

Ecc.8

[8] There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.

[9] All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man rules over another to his own hurt.

[10] And so I saw the wicked buried, who had come and gone from the place of the holy, and they were forgotten in the city where they had so done: this is also vanity.

[11] Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

[12] Though a sinner do evil an hundred times and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:

[13] But it shall not be well with the wicked neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he fears not before God.

***[14] There is a vanity which is done upon the earth; that there be just men, unto whom it happens according to the work of the wicked; again, there be wicked men, to whom it happens according to the work of the righteous: I said that this also is vanity.

Ecc.9

[1] For all this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God: no man knows either love or hatred by all that is before them.

[2] All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrifice, and to him that sacrifices not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that swears, as he that fears an oath.

[3] This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.

Isa.3

[11] Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.

In closing for today,

1 John 2

[16] For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. [17] And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of God abides forever.

1 John 5

[18] We know that whosoever is born of God sins not; but he that is begotten of God keeps himself, and that wicked one touches him not. [19] And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in wickedness.

Remember:

Beware of the "false image" of love

Beware of "false feelings and emotions"

These pagan feasts bring on loneliness, depression, suicide and oh yes, great debt.

Be safe out there; keep your eyes open if you are around crowds, malls etc…
