Shabbat Shalom

August 30, 2008

God has His own calendar - We are in the 5th month, 28th day

--

Judaism made up the name AV. The fifth month has "No Name" in Scripture

------------------------

New moon maybe Sunday night, moon 1%, Monday, moon 4%, we will check

Neh.6 [15] So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul  àÁìåÌì , in fifty and two days.

No name in scripture for the 6th month. (End of August / September)

--------------

Judaism calls Elul, the 6th month. We cannot verify this by the Hebrew Scriptures.

Judaism put together this verse for Elul

Song of Solomon 6:3 I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine

 àÂðÄé ìÀãåÉãÄé åÀãåÉãÄé ìÄé

Learn not the way of the heathen

Jer.10

[2] Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. [3 ] For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. [4] They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

Jer.6

[16] Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein . ( like most of the world today )

Jer.18

[15] Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ancient paths, to walk in paths , in a way not cast up;[16 ] To make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished, and wag his head.

Col. 2:16

[16] Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:[17] Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Pss. 42 [4] When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.

chagag çââ : A primitive root - properly to move in a circle, that is, (specifically) to march in a sacred procession, to observe a festival; celebrate, dance, (keep, hold) a (solemn) feast (holyday)

Lev.23 feasts of the LORD

[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

[4] These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

[37] These are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:

[44] And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD

-------------

It is all about a blessing and a curse

Deut.11 [26] Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse

[27] A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:[28] And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

--------

Ye shall not add nor diminish unto the word which I command you

Deut.4 [2] Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Deut.5 [22] These words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.

Deut.12 [ 32] What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Proverbs 30: 5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. 6: Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Rev.22[ 18] For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things , God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:[ 19] And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Satan has replaced God's Word

All things of God are replaced by most people of the earth today 2008

Just to name a few:

God's Calendar - now Pope Gregory's Calendar (1500's) we use today

God told us about clean and unclean foods - Now people eat and drink anything.

Holydays and Feasts of the Lord are replaced by all the pagan feasts and traditions of the world.

Holydays - now Holidays

New moon is not talked about any more except in Wiccan pagan circles. (Full moon)

God's 7th day Sabbath - now Sunday, 1st day

God of Israel - now many false gods

Names of the days of the week and names of the months are all changed

God's New Year is changed

The "shadows of things to come" from Messiah's body are obscured and forgotten by most people on the earth.

Another Yeshua - Jesus / Another Gospel

2Cor.11 [4] For if he that cometh preacheth another Yeshua / Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. Why would you do this?

Gal.1 [6] I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Messiah / Christ unto another gospel:

[7] Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Messiah / Christ.
[8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
[9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

[10] For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Messiah / Christ.
[11] But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
[12] For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Yeshua the Messiah / Jesus Christ.

----------

Matt.15 [3] Yeshua said: ....... Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

[6] ... Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

Mark 7 [13] Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

[9] And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

Col. 2 [8] Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men , after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

1Pet. 1 [18] Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers ;[19 ] But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: [20 ] Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

The mystery of iniquity

Dan. 7 [25] And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws : and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

2 Thes. 2 [7] For the mystery of iniquity doth already work : only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

"He, anti-Messiah" changes times and laws

Pagan people of ancient times believed in astrology as they do today, they worshiped the sun and the moon, and the 5 known planets at that time,   in which they named after pagan gods: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Also Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, modern-day scientists gave pagan names.

A little more detail:

Sunday

Dies solis means the day of the sun, from which we get Sunday. Sun worship was marked by the use of the halo, or nimbus, which originated with the pagan Greeks and Romans to represent their sun god, Helios. Later artists adopted it for use in Christian images.

The halo is actually just the sun behind the person's head, as shown in the illustration. It's easy to recognize once one realizes what it is, although it's also often stylized to make it less obvious. Originally a very devious way of mixing idolatrous sun worship with Christianity by converts who were not all that converted, the pagan halo became a very misleading tradition in Christian art.

Monday

Dies lunae (from which comes the word lunar), means moon day, from which we get the shortened version, Monday.

Tuesday

Dies Martis, means mars day, after Mars, the Roman god of war. The day was known to the pagan Germans after their own god of war, Tiw (pronounced too) as Tiw's (pronounced tooz) day, from which we get Tuesday.

Wednesday

Dies mercuri, means mercury day. Woden (pronounced woe-den) was the Germanic version of the pagan god mercury, and they named the day Woden's day, from which we get Wednesday.

Thursday

Dies Jovis means Jove's day, or Jupiter's day. Thor was the Germanic version of the god Jupiter, so they called the day Thor's Day, from which we got Thursday.

Friday

Dies Veneris means Venus Day. The Germanic version of this female god was Frigg, or Freyja (pronounced fry-yah), so they called the day Freyja day, from which we got Friday.

Saturday

Dies Saturni means Saturn day, from which came Saturday. The pagans also observed their Saturnalia festival in the last week of December, a time when work ceased, gifts were exchanged, and slaves feasted with their masters.

Pagan months

January: Roman god Janus was the god of doorways, entrances, gateways, thresholds and beginnings, and therefore used for the opening of the New Year.

February: February used to be the last month of the Roman calendar. On 15th day of the month was a Pagan festival of purification called Februa and so this month came to be known as Februa's month. The day before that, and the day after 13th was a holiday to honour Juno.

The goddess Juno was the Queen of the Roman gods and goddesses, and also the goddess of women and marriage. Was it coincidence that the nasty Emperor Claudius II arranged for a priest named Valentine to be clubbed to death and then beheaded on this day?

March: The Roman god Mars, god of war and guardian of the state. This was the first month of the ancient Roman calendar.

April: Considered a sacred Roman month for the goddess Venus. The name 'April' is probably from Apru, an Etruscan borrowing of Greek Aphrodite, a fertility goddess. Alternatively, it may stem from the Latin aperire (to open), as so many buds and blossoms open in this month.

May: This is from Maia a Roman goddess of earth, honour and reverence. She was wife of Vulcan, mother of Mercury by Jupiter and daughter of Atlas. It became a popular girl's name in English.

June: The chief goddess Juno, wife of Jupiter and queen of the heavens and gods. June became another popular name for girls, as did:

July: Named after the death Julius Caesar in 44 BC to deify and immortalize his name. Gaius Julius Caesar was born in this month, which was formerly Quintilis (fifth) month of the Roman calendar.

August: Named in 8 BC after Augustus Caesar, the adopted heir of Julius Caesar and the first Roman emperor (31 BC - 14AD). A word related to 'august' is 'venerable', and the emperor was known as the Venerable Caesar. Quite a contrast to the month's original name, 'Weodmonao', which means 'month of weeds'. Today's gardeners would agree with that.

September: This name comes from the Latin septem, meaning 'seven'.

October: This name comes from the Latin octo, meaning 'eight'. (Octopus - an 8-sided cat?) This is the month when people start thinking of Christmas and New Year parties. Amaze your friends by telling them the day of the week for Christmas Day and New Year's Day; these days are always the same week day as 2nd October.

November: This name comes from the Latin novem, meaning 'nine'.

December: This name comes from the Latin decem, meaning 'ten'.

When we discuss these things with people it causes division

Luke. 12 [51] Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth?

I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

[52] For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.
[53] The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

division: a parting, disunion, dissension

Mic. 7 [6] For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.

Matt. 10 [21] And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.

[22 ] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Mark. 13 [12] Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. [13 ] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Luke. 21 [16] And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. [17] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.[18 ] But there shall not an hair of your head perish.[ 19] In your patience possess ye your souls.

John. 7 [43] So there was a division among the people because of Hm.

Luke. 14 [26 ] If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.[27 ] And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

Rom. 8 [38 ] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

[39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John. 16 [1] These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.

[2] They shall put you out of the synagogues:  yea , the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

We need to teach our children and this world

Deut.6

[1] Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:
[2] That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
[3] Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
[4] Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
[5] And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
[6] And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
[7] And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
[8] And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
[9] And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

Deut.11

[16] Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;
[17] And then the LORD's wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you.
[18] Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.
[19] And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
[20] And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:
[21] That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.

Prepare ye the way of the LORD

Isa. 40 [3]  The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

ôÌÇðÌåÌ ãÌÆøÆêÀ éÀäåÈä

panah ôÌðä - to turn, to turn toward, to turn and do, to approach, to turn and look at, after or for, to make clear,

John.  1 [23] He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.

Matt.3 [3] For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

Mark. 1 [3] The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

Luke. 3 [4] As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

[5] Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;[6] And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

1 John. 2 [21] I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth

Gal. 4 [16] Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

I pray not, shalom
