This study below has nothing to do with:

1 - Carnal emotions in which you should just work out between yourselves. The word "emotions" is not in scripture.

2 - You don't need two or three people to pray together for the Lord to be in the midst. You can pray by yourself.

3 – Personal feelings or personalities you may not prefer.

"One witness shall not testify against any person"

Num. 35 [30] Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die.

Listen to the priests the Levites or the judge (minister) in your time

Deut. 17

[2] If there be found among you, within any of thy gates which Yehovah thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of Yehovah thy God, in transgressing his covenant,
[3] And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;
[4] And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and inquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel:
[5] Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die.

[6] At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

[7] The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So thou shalt put the evil away from among you.
-------------

[8] If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou arise, and get thee up into the place which Yehovah thy God shall choose;

[9] And thou shalt come unto the priests the Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and inquire; and they shall shew thee the sentence of judgment:

[10] And thou shalt do according to the sentence, which they of that place which Yehovah shall choose shall shew thee; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee:

[11] According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the right hand, nor to the left.

[12] And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before Yehovah thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.
[13] And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously.
-------------

Deut. 19

[15] One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

[16] If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong;
[17] Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before Yehovah, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;

[18] And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother;

[19] Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.

[20] And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you.
[21] And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

2 Cor. 13 [1] This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

How to deal with an elder

1 Tim. 5

[1] Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;

[2] The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.

[17] Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

[18] For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

[19] Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.

Heb. 10 [28] He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

If they say, I repent; thou shalt forgive him (or her)

Luke 17

[1] Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
[2] It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

[3] Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother (or sister) trespass against thee, rebuke him (or her); and if he (or she) repent, forgive him (or her).

[4] And if he (or she) trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him (or her).

Again, this is about committing a sin, not hurting someone's feelings.

Matt. 18

[19] Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. [20] For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (with righteous judgement)

-------------

[21] Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother (or sister) sin against me, and I forgive him (or her)? till seven times?
[22] Yeshua / Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

---------------------

Matt. 18

[14] Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

Trespass - fault

On the verses below Mathew 18:15-20, these are in reference to Deut 17 and 19 above and must be read accordingly. Also these verses pertain to a sin/trespass - again, not if someone hurt your feelings or you like the personality.
--------

Step 1

[15] Moreover if thy brother (or sister) shall trespass against thee, go and tell him (or her) his (her) fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother (or sister).

Step 2

[16] But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. Taken from Deut 17:2-6 and Deut 19:15

Step 3

[17] And if he (or she) shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he (or she) neglect to hear the church, let him (or her) be unto thee as an heathen man (or woman) and a publican. Taken from Deut 17:9-13

---

[18] Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

[19] Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

[20] For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

***Verses 18 - 20 above have to do with righteous judgment. Whatever the judges decide will be followed and also agreed upon in heaven because when two or three judges have determined a judgment in My name - I am there in the midst of them, agreeing with them by the Word.

-------------

Trespass - fault

trespass - to err, be mistaken, to miss or wander from the path of uprightness and honour, to do or go wrong, to wander from the law of God, violate God’s law, sin
