September had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 30
days long.
The God of Israel has His own Calendar:
We are now in the 6th month of God called Elul אֱל֑וּל, day 13
Neh.6
[15] So the wall was finished in the twenty
and fifth day of the month Elul,
Neh.7 [73] So the priests, and the
Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims,
and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when
the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in their cities.

Today’s Topic:
Two kinds of children
There are many
passages in the scriptures that depict two kinds of people, two camps.
Here are a few terms:
children of the wicked one
children of the flesh
children of them which killed the prophets
children of the devil
children of the bridechamber
children of the kingdom
children of the Highest
children of the
resurrection
children of the prophets
children of the stock of Abraham
children of the living God
children
of light
children of the day
children of Israel, later known as the children of the captivity
and
so on…
Now we will go over some
terms in context:
בָּבֶל
Babel {baw-bel'}
Meaning: Babel or Babylon = "confusion
(by mixing)"
בְּלִיַּעַל
{bel-e-yah'-al}
Meaning: 1) worthlessness 1a) worthless, good for nothing,
unprofitable, base fellow 1b) wicked 1c) ruin, destruction (construct)
Usage:
AV - Belial 16,
wicked 5, ungodly 3, evil 1, naughty 1 ungodly men 1; 27
[1] Hear this word that Yehovah hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the
whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,
[2] You only have I known of all
the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your
iniquities.[3] Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Luke.20
[27] Then came to
him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and
they asked him,
[28] Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man's brother die,
having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his
wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
[29] There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and
died without children.
[30] And the second took her to wife, and he died childless.
[31] And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they
left no children, and died.
[32] Last of all the woman died also.
[33] Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.
[34] And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world
marry, and are given in marriage:
[35] But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and
the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
[36] Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels;
and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
Eph.2
[1] .. you had He
quickened, who
were dead in trespasses and sins;
[2] Wherein in time past you walked
according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of
the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience:
[3] Among whom also we all had our
conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of
the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as
others.
[4] But God, who
is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
[5] Even
when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Messiah,
(by grace you are saved;)
[6] And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in
heavenly places in Messiah Yeshua:
[7] That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his
grace in his kindness toward us through Messiah Yeshua.
Eph.5
[1] Be you therefore followers of God, as dear children;
[2] And walk in love, as Messiah also hath loved us, and hath given
himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.
[3] But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness,
let it not be once named among you,
as becometh saints;
[4] Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not
convenient:
but rather giving of thanks.
[5] For this you know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean
person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the
kingdom of Messiah and of God.
[6] Let no man
deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of
God upon the children of disobedience.
[7] Be not you therefore partakers with them.
[8] For you were sometimes darkness, but now are you light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
[9] (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and
righteousness and truth;)
[10] Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
[11]
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather
reprove them.
[12] For it is a shame even to
speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
[13] But all things that are reproved are made manifest by
the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
[14] Wherefore he said, awake you that sleep, and arise from the dead, and Messiah shall give you light.
[15] See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
[16] Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
[17] Wherefore be you not unwise, but understanding what the will of the
Lord is.
[18] And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with
the Spirit;
[19] Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
[20] Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the
name of our Lord Yeshua Messiah;
[21] Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Col.3
[5] Mortify
therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness,
inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: [6] for which things' sake the wrath of
God cometh on the children of disobedience: [7] In the which you also walked some time, when you lived in them.
[8] But now you also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy,
filthy communication out of your mouth. [9] Lie not one to another,
seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds;
[10] And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge
after the image of him that created him…

ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
[40] But now ye seek to kill me, a man that had told
you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
[41] You do the
deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of
fornication; we have one Father, even God.
[42] Yeshua said unto them,
If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from
God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
[43] Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
[44]
You are of your father the devil, and
the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and
abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie,
he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
[45] And because I tell you the truth, you believe me not.
Judge Righteously
[1] God stands in the congregation of the mighty; בַּעֲדַת־אֵ֑ל
He judges among the gods.
[2] How long will you judge unjustly, and accept
the persons of the wicked? Selah.
[3] Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and
needy.
[4] Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
[5] They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in
darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
[6] I have said, You are gods; and all of you
are children of the most High.
[7] But you shall
die like men, and fall like one of the
princes.
[8] Arise, O God, judge the earth: for you shalt
inherit all nations.
Gal.
4
[28] Now we brethren, as Isaac
was, are the children of promise.
[29] But as then he that was
born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it
is now.
[30] Nevertheless what said the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and
her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the
freewoman.
[31]
So then, brethren, we are not children
of the bondwoman, but children of the free.
[32] Fill ye up then the measure of your
fathers.
[33] Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the
damnation of hell?
