Shabbat Shalom

שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם

Today is April 25, 2020 – in the 21 century

April -- Aphrodite's month

Old English April (is)
Latin Aprilis
Etruscan Apru
Greek Aphro, short for Aphrodite.

Aprilis had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 30 days long.

Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love and beauty. She is identified with the Roman goddess Venus.

We acknowledge Yehovah’s calendar:

Note: New moon today:

We are now in the 2nd month called Ziv – day 1

1Kgs.6[1] And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of Yehovah.

It is the 2nd Sabbath of the 7 Sabbaths we were told to count. We are on our way to the Feast of Weeks.

Scripture tells us: Prove all things with the Word

Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Thessalonians says:

1 Thes. 5 [21] Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Watch out for the "other or another" new (false) doctrine

People in the past use to tell me, all churches, congregations and synagogues say they are the only true right one.

Which one is right? Who should I believe? Where should I attend?

Again - Prove all things with the Word

Over the years I did a few studies pertaining to a “checklist”.

I noticed 2 studies; one study had parts 1 and 2.

Here are the 2 studies and the dates:

The Checklist Of What To Do - Where To Attend - 6/13/2015 - Sivan 25

Part 2 Must Have Checklist, August 1, 2009 - 5th month, 9th day

Prove All Things - a must have checklist - July 25, 2009

I did receive some opposition over the years with some of the topics I listed below, which was to be expected. J

Today, in 2020 I will do an updated checklist because I know some people never heard this study before.

Today’s Topic:

Updated “checklist 3” in 2020 of 60 bad possibilities to avoid

Again in 2020 I have comprised a "short checklist" below of scriptural credentials you need to "check off" as you choose where you attend and to whom you should listen too.

***If the church, congregation or synagogue you plan to attend follows this "short checklist" of places not to attend, then you are on the right path.

So, who is preaching the Truth?

Today we need to include YouTube religious videos, all social media and platforms, sites, Apps  on all phones, IPods, iPads, laptops, Desktops etc…

Some biggies with billions of subscribers:

YouTube, Face Book, Twitter, Skype, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Reddit , Meetup, Google+ , just to name a few.

There are many websites with Social Media Sites & App lists for 2020

One site states: There are lists of “250 social media apps” as of October 2018 and keeps growing. Updated periodically, the list is available in 32 languages

Be careful on who and what you listen too.

Make sure you now add in all the information pertaining to social media above. 2020

Let’s start the list of 60 bad possibilities to avoid L

1 - Does the church / synagogue believe Yeshua is the Messiah, the Word of Yehovah made flesh of Israel, Savior of the world?

(Make sure they don't believe Yeshua is just some man or just a prophet)

2 - A - Does the church / synagogue keep the 10 commandments?

Especially look for the 4th commandment, the Sabbath, which is on Friday sundown until Saturday sundown - no work, no buying and selling.

Do they say the law is gone, we read the “New Testament” (meaning the gospels and letters)

B -What is the main day your church or synagogue meets, Saturday or Sunday? (Should be Saturday) Sunday is the first day of the week to work.

C - Does the church / synagogue say it is a “commandment” to light candles on the Sabbath? (very false – no such commandment in scripture)

D - Does the church / synagogue welcome in the Sabbath Queen on the Sabbath? (very false)

Judaism has many other false traditions, beware!

Don't be tricked and brought into a "messianic" group that follows Judaism - (hundreds of flavors today of messianic groups).

3 - Does the church / synagogue know and observe the "Feasts of the Lord" (not from Judaism) or do they do pagan holidays?

Some pagan holidays and observances not to observe:

Christmas – false embellishments over the years…

Chanukah (same time as Christmas) – on the 25th of Kislev are the days of Chanukah, which are eight... these were appointed a Festival with Hillel [prayers of praise] and thanksgiving. - Shabbat 21b, Babylonian Talmud (we don't follow)

Don't buy a 8 or 9 candlestick Menorah, unscriptural, no 8 days of oil in the Maccabee stories – made up

Easter

Valentine’s Day

Saint Patrick Day

Thanksgiving

Halloween

Fat Tuesday

Lent

Conformation

Ash Wednesday - too many Catholic feasts to list

Kwanzaa - Ron Karenga (aka Dr. Maulana Ron Karenga) invented the seven-day feast (Dec. 26-Jan. 1) in 1966, branding it a black alternative to Christmas. The idea was to celebrate the end of what he considered the Christmas-season exploitation of African Americans.

Judaism's Rosh Hashanah, New Year and Passovers are wrong (don't follow Jewish calendars, they have made-up names)

Bar or Bat - Mitzvahs

(Really just anything you can't verify by the scriptures)

4 - Does the church / synagogue know about the "7 Sabbaths" in the feasts of Yehovah?

You better do your home work on Bible versions.

Don't be tricked and brought into a debate with someone you can tell did not do his or her due diligence in this matter.

What is the title of the leader of the church / synagogue? (Make sure it is not rabbi or messianic rabbi or Father)

15 - Does the church / synagogue follow the Two House Doctrine of today, not the Two Houses in the Scriptures? (very false)

1 - Don't be tricked and brought into a Two House Doctrine of today (hundreds of flavors today).

We do believe in the Two Houses Of Jacob, Israel, in scripture that will be brought back together and innumerable amount of nations, gentiles will the Body.

2 - Also don't be tricked into believing you "might be" Yosef or Ephraim. (You never can prove that anyway, the name Ephraim shows up "only once" in the Gospels and letters only as a city)

Read:

Rev. 7 [4] And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.  (Ephraim is not named there)

[9] After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;[10] And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

***This list of items is still not complete, more to come one day...

Apostle Paul, in his second letter to the Corinthians and his letter to the Galatians, indicates at his time, there were (false) other gospels, (false) other spirits and (false) another Yeshua.

2 Cor. 11 [4] For if he that cometh preacheth another Yeshua, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

Gal. 1 [6] I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Messiah unto another gospel:

[7] Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Messiah.
[8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
[9] As we said before, so say I now again,
If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Messiah Yeshua says there will be (false) other Messiahs / Christs - (false) other prophets

Matt. 24 [24] For there shall arise false Messiahs / Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Mark 13 [22] For false Messiahs / Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

Apostle Peter indicates in his letter, that there were (false) other prophets and there will be (false) other teachers.

1.     2 Pet. 2 [1] But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying Yehovah that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Apostle John indicates that at the end of time, there will the dragon, the beast, / Anti-Messiah / Christ and the false prophet

Again - "(false) other or another"

Rev. 16 [13] And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Rev. 19 [20] And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Rev. 20 [10] And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Great advice:

1Tim.6 [20] O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

2Tim.2 [16] But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.[17] And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;[18] Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

[23] But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

Tit.3 [9] But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

In closing:

It is good that we don’t forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Having said all the above, you can now use this "short checklist" to prove which church / synagogue is right, which teacher is right.

Make sure they do not have (false) another gospel, (false) another spirit and (false) another Yeshua.

Start with this list and you will be doing fine to go (to heaven and everlasting lifeJ)
