 All Welcome

Shabbat Shalom

----------------------------------------

Let’s Pray

-------------

My ministry is to bring up topics in the Bible that have never been discussed, or mentioned in your life that God wants us to know, to make straight the way of Yehovah.

-------------

Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory, from the 1500’s

Today is June 19, 2010

-------------

God has His own calendar

We are now in the 4th month of God, 6th day

The 4th month has “No name” in scripture

Judaism calls the 4th month Tammuz, Wrong!

------

It is definitely not called Tammuz

Ezek. 8 [14] Then he brought me to the door of the gate of Yehovah's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz (pagan deity) îÀáÇëÌåÉú àÆúÎäÇ úÌÇîÌåÌæ -- a Sumerian deity of food or vegetation, a Phoenician deity

Ezek. 8 [14] Then he brought me to the door of the gate of Yehovah's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.

[15] Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.

  --------------------

Question: Why are we here today?

Answer: We were told to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

The 4th Commandment is a part of the covenant given to us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan

Exod. 20 [8] Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
[10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Today's Topic: Walking together

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

Amos 3 [1] Hear this word that the YEHOVAH hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying, [2] You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities. [3] Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

----------

It seems always just before the Spring Feasts of Yehovah and shortly after, our congregation diminishes. Summer is here, and serving God just doesn’t fit in many lifestyles. Lately, it seems like family, has been the deciding factor with people whether they will serve God or not.

----------

Matt. 10 [34] Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
[35] For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
[36] And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

[37] He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

[38] And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
[39] He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

----------

Luke 14 [26] If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

Simply put, whatever you put before God is your God. It is fine to prosper, be successful or be educated. Just make sure God is FIRST in everything.

3 John 1 [2] Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

----------

Don't look back

Some Christians (Messiah followers) say, this life is hard, it is vain to serve God and start to look back

Mal. 3 [14] Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the YEHOVAH of hosts?

----------

Exod. 14 [11] And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt , hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? [12] Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.

Ecc. 7 [10] Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not inquire wisely concerning this.

----------

John 6 [66] From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.[67] Then said Yeshua unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?[68] Then Simon Peter answered him, Yehovah, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
[69] And we believe and are sure that thou art that Messiah, the Son of the living God.
[70] Yeshua answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

Luke 22 [48] But Yeshua said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss

----------

1 John 2 [18] Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antiMessiah shall come, even now are there many antiMessiahs; whereby we know that it is the last time.
[19] They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
----------

Jer. 7 [24] But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

----------
2 Pet. 2 [20] For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Yehovah and Saviour Yeshua the Messiah, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
[21] For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
[22] But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Prov. 26 [11] As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly.

--------------

Luke 17 [26] And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
[27] They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

[28] Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
[29] But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
[30] Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
[31] In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

[32] Remember Lot's wife.

Gen.19 [26] But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

-------------

Backslider

ñåÌâ sûg - soog - A primitive root; to go back, literally (to retreat) or figuratively (to apostatize): - backslider, drive, go back, turn (away, back). to move, go, turn back, move away, backslide, to backslide, prove recreant to, to turn oneself away, turn back, to be turned or driven back, be repulsed

------------------------------

Backsliding

îùÑáä  îùÑåÌáä - meshûbâh,  meshûbâh - mesh-oo-baw', mesh-oo-baw' - From H7725; apostasy: - backsliding, turning away. turning away, turning back, apostasy, backsliding

ùÑåÌá - shûb, shoob - A primitive root; to turn back (hence, away)

Prov. 14 [14] The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.

-------------

Jer. 2 [19] Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the YEHOVAH thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Yehovah GOD of hosts.[20] For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot.

-------------

Jer. 5 [6] Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased.

-------------

Jer. 8 [5] Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.

-------------

Jer. 14 [7] O YEHOVAH, though our iniquities testify against us, do thou it for thy name's sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee.

-------------

Jer. 31 [22] How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter?

-------------

Jer. 49 [4] Wherefore gloriest thou in the valleys, thy flowing valley, O backsliding daughter? that trusted in her treasures, saying, Who shall come unto me?

-------------

Hos. 4 [16] For Israel slideth back as a backsliding heifer: now the YEHOVAH will feed them as a lamb in a large place.

[17] Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone.
[18] Their drink is sour: they have committed whoredom continually: her rulers with shame do love, Give ye.
[19] The wind hath bound her up in her wings, and they shall be ashamed because of their sacrifices.

-------------

Hos. 11 [7] And my people are bent to backslidings from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all would exalt him.

-------------

Jer. 3

[1] They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the YEHOVAH.
[2] Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.
[3] Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.
[4] Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My father, thou art the guide of my youth?
[5] Will he reserve his anger for ever? will he keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest.
[6] The YEHOVAH said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.
[7] And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.
[8] And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
[9] And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
[10] And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the YEHOVAH.
[11] And the YEHOVAH said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.
[12] Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the YEHOVAH; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the YEHOVAH, and I will not keep anger for ever.
[13] Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the YEHOVAH thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the YEHOVAH.
[14] Turn, O backsliding children, saith the YEHOVAH; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:
[15] And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
[16] And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the YEHOVAH, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the YEHOVAH: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.
[17] At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the YEHOVAH; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the YEHOVAH, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.
[18] In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.
[19] But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.
[20] Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the YEHOVAH.
[21] A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten the YEHOVAH their God.
[22] Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the YEHOVAH our God.
[23] Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the YEHOVAH our God is the salvation of Israel.
[24] For shame hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.
[25] We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against the YEHOVAH our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the YEHOVAH our God.

Acts 17:

[23] For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD ( like most churches and synagogues) . Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. (The God of Israel)

[24] God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Yehovah of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

[25] Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

[26] And hath made of "one blood all nations of men" for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

[27] That they should seek Yehovah, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

[28] For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
