    עֲדַת יִשְׂרָאֵל

Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s.

June 1, 2019 - in the 21 Century

June -- Juno's month

Middle English jun(e)
Old French juin
Old English junius
Latin Junius "of Juno"
Latin Junius mensis "month of Juno"

Junius had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 30 days long.

Juno is the principle goddess of the Roman Pantheon. She is the goddess of marriage and the well-being of women. She is the wife and sister of Jupiter. She is identified with the Greek goddess Hera.

Yehovah God has His own calendar, which is deleted from the world

We are now in the second month of God called זִו Ziv, day 26 - "brightness"

1Kgs.6[1] And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif - Ziv, זִו  which is the second month, that he began to build the house of Yehovah.

The new moon, the 3rd month called Sivan soon

The evening of June 4th Tuesday – day time of the 5th Wednesday

Esth.8 [9] Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, סִיוָן

This is our fifth Sabbath of the seven week journey again, spiritually speaking.

One infraction of a person so far on our travel

Infraction: failure to obey or fulfill a law, contract or agreement, or an instance of this.

Remember: We were told to count "Sabbaths" not omers like many people are doing.

An "omer" is a "sheaf" of barley

עמר omer  - A dry measure of 1/10 ephah (about 2 liters)

Lev.23 [15] And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be complete:[16] Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto Yehovah.

Hag Sh'vu-ot - חַג שָׁבֻעֹת - Feasts of Weeks / Pentecost, a Sabbath “Offering time” - June 16, 2019

Today’s Topic

Who we are and became in Messiah

First let’s examine a few words / terms:

Herd mentality:

Don’t try to persuade or convince someone into something “you want to do or a place you want to go, etc…”

Herd mentality, describes how people are influenced by their peers to adopt certain behaviors, follow trends, and/or purchase items.

Groupthink and instances thereof:

- is a psychological phenomenon that occurs within a group of people in which the desire for harmony or conformity in the group results in an irrational or dysfunctional decision-making outcome.

Group members try to minimize conflict and reach a consensus decision without critical evaluation of alternative viewpoints by actively suppressing dissenting viewpoints, and by isolating themselves from outside influences.

Groupthink requires individuals to avoid raising controversial issues or alternative solutions, and there is loss of individual creativity, uniqueness and independent thinking.

Personality: the quality or state of being a person

The combination of characteristics or qualities that form an individual's distinctive character

We now have a Godly personality, have Godly attributes and a Godly character. We have the mind of Messiah in all things.

1Cor.2 [16]… we have the mind of Messiah.

Personality traits:

Your Godly Personality traits should be:

Gal.5 [22]…the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, [23] Meekness, temperance, helpers of your joy, scourer (helper) of many…

2 Peter 2 more attributes:

[5] And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
[6] And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
[7] And to godliness
brotherly (and sisterly) kindness; and to brotherly (and sisterly) kindness charity.

[8] For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.

[9] But he that lacks these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

Your personality is different than “what you physically like to do in your life”.

The activities you enjoy may differ from many others.

“Some do, some don’t”, we are diverse in all things

What we physically like to do or not do - does not make us holy or Godly.

Example: I play guitar, like computer stuff, robotics, science, math etc…

What you do in your life may differ in many ways from other people.

This has nothing to do with our Godly Personality, new creature.

2 Cor.5 [17] Therefore if any person be in Messiah, he or she is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Eph. 4 [22] … you put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;[23] And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;[24] And that ye put on the new man /woman, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Individual:  of, relating to, or distinctively associated with your being

A some verses of individuality

My labor, my portion

Ecc.2[10] And whatsoever mine eyes desired I kept not from them, I withheld not my heart from any joy; for my heart rejoiced in all my labor: and this was my portion of all my labor.

His own works, his portion

Ecc.3[22] Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion:

His portion, his labor

Ecc.5 [18] Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor that he takes under the sun all the days of his life, which God gives him: for it is his portion.[19] Every man (not all men) also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God.

Your vanity, your life

Ecc.9 [9] Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labor which thou takest under the sun.

We are all different individuals but now one in Messiah in all thoughts and actions

There are many parts to the “one body” of Messiah

1Cor.1 [26] For ye see your calling, brethren (and sisters), how that not many wise men / woman, after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:[27] But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;[28] And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:[29] That no flesh should glory in his presence.

[30] But of Him are you in Messiah Yeshua, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
[31] That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in Yehovah.

1Cor.12 [4] Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
[5] And there are differences of administrations, but the same Yehovah.
[6] And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

[7] But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
[8] For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
[9] To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
[10] To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues

[11] But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man, woman severally as He will.

[12] For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Messiah.

[13] For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

[14] For the body is not one member (individual), but many.

[15] If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

[16] And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

[17] If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing?

If the whole were hearing, where was the smelling?

[18] But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased Him.

[19] And if they were all one member (clones), where were the body?

[20] But now are they many members (individuals not clones), yet but one body.

[21] And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

[22] Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:[23] And those members of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.

[24] For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honor to that part which lacked:
[25] That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

[26] And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it.

[27] Now ye are the body of Messiah, and members (individuals not clones), in particular.

Godly speaking:

One Body

Rom.12 [4] For as we have many members (individuals not clones) in one body, and all members have not the same office: [5] So we, being many, are one body in Messiah…

1Cor.10 [17] For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

Eph.2[16] And that He Messiah might reconcile both (Jews / Gentiles) unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby…

Col.3[15] And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

One mind

Rom.15 [6] That you may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.

2Cor.13 [11] Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Phil.1 [27] Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Messiah: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Phil.2 [2] Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

1Pet.3 [8] Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous…

One Spirit

1Cor.6 [17] But he that is joined unto Yehovah is one spirit.

1Cor.12 [13] For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Eph.2 [18] For through Yeshua we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

Eph.4 [4] There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; [5] One Yehovah, one faith, one baptism,[6] One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

One Yehovah the Lord

Deut.6 [4] Hear, O Israel: Yehovah our God is one Yehovah:

Zech.14 [9] And Yehovah shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Yehovah, and His name one.

Mark.12 [29] And Yeshua answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; Yehovah our God is one Yehovah:

1Cor.8 [6] But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Yeshua the Messiah, by whom are all things, and we by him.

One God

Mal.2[10] Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?

Mark.12 [32] And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but He:

Rom.3 [30] Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

1Cor.8 [6] But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Yeshua the Messiah, by whom are all things, and we by him.

1Tim.2 [5] For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Messiah Yeshua;

Jas.2 [19] Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

One law

Exod.12 [49] One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

Num.15 [16] One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

[29] Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.

Jas.4 [12] There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

Love your neighbor as thyself

Lev.19 [18] Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am Yehovah.

[34] But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am Yehovah your God.

Matt.19 [19] Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

Matt.22[39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

Rom.13 [9] For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

Gal.5 [14] For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Jas.2 [8] If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, ye do well:

Love

1 John 2 [5] But whoso keepeth His word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him.

[10] He that loves his brother /sister abides in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

1 John 3 [10] …the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother / sister.[11] For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

[14] We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren / sisters. He that loves not his brother / sisters abides in death.

[16] Hereby perceive we the love of God, because Yeshua laid down His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren/ sisters.[17] But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother/sisters have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him / her, how dwelleth the love of God in him?[18] My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

[23] And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Yeshua the Messiah, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

1 John 4 [7] Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knoweth God.

[8] He that loves not knoweth not God; for God is love.

[9] In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.[10] Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.[11] Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.[12] No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

20: If a man / woman say, I love God, and hateth his brother / sister, he /she is a liar: for he /she that loveth not his brother / sister, whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he / she hath not seen?[21] And this commandment have we from Him, that he /she who loves God love his brother/ sister also.

In closing:

I pray you may discern, with proper reasoning and understanding this short study.

We neither are physical clones of each other nor desire to be.

Remember, when we are talking about God, we all have the same mind, the same judgment; the same thought, conversation(s), one law…

Also remember:

Ecc.4 [9] Two (brothers or sisters) are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor. [10] For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow:

but woe to him/ her that is alone when he / she falls; for he / she hath not another to help him / her up.

[11] Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?[12] And if one prevails against him, two shall withstand him;

and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

We are not clones, but individuals in God
