שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם

Today, we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s,

The date is February 5, 2022

February -- month of Februa

Latin dies februatus "day of purification"

Februarius had 28 days, until circa 450 BC when it had 23 or 24 days on some of every second year, until Julius when it had 29 days on every fourth year and 28 days otherwise.

Februa is the Roman festival of purification held on February fifteenth.

Intercalaris -- inter-calendar month

Latin Intercalaris "inter-calendar"
Intercalaris had 27 days until the month was abolished by Julius.

God has His own Calendar:

We are now in the 12th month of God called Adar, day 3

Esth.3 [7] …12th month Adar אֲדָר

We read from law and the prophets every Sabbath like they did in the Book of Acts 13 [15] … after the reading of the law and the prophets…

As Yeshua said it:

Luke 24 [44] And Yeshua said unto them, These are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

the law of Moses (not used by most churches today)

the prophets (not used by most churches today)

The Word of God - Torah, Prophets and Writings

Ta Na K is an acronym for:

T = Torah (law, teachings) - first 5 books of Moses

N = Navieem or prophets (pl. sounds like - Na vi eem)

K = Ke'tuvim or writings (psalms etc.)

Today’s topic:

A short talk pertaining to:

Yehovah and His Word, His Son Messiah Yeshua

1Tim. 3 [16] …without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:

God was manifest in the flesh,

justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

The eternal God

Deut.33 [27] The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms…

Mal.3 [6]…I am Yehovah, I change not…

Heb.13:8 Yeshua the Messiah the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

Luke.10 [18] And Yeshua said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

John 8 [58] Yeshua said unto them, Verily,verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Heb.1

[1] God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
[2] Had in these last days spoken unto us by
his Son, whom he have appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

[3] Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

[4] Being made so much better than the angels, as he had by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

[5] For unto which of the angels said he at any time, You are my Son, this day have I begotten You? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? [6] And again, when he brings in the first begotten into the world, he said, And let all the angels of God worship Him.

All I can say is:

Pss.2 [12] Kiss the Son, lest the Son be angry, and you perish from the way, when the Son wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in the Son, The Word of God – the Messiah

back to Heb.1

[7] And of the angels he said, Who makes his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

[8] But unto the Son he said, Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom. [9] You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even your God, had anointed You with the oil of gladness above your fellows.

Psalm 45:

[6] Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: the scepter of thy kingdom is a right scepter.[7] You love righteousness, and hate wickedness: therefore God, your God, had anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.

back to Heb.1

[10] And, You, Lord, in the beginning have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of your hands:
[11]
They shall perish; but You remain; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
[12] And as a vesture shall you fold them up, and they shall be changed: but
you are the same, and your years shall not fail.

Pss. 102 [25] Of old have You laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of your hands.
[26]
They shall perish, but You shall endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shall You change them, and they shall be changed:
[27]
But You are the same, and thy years shall have no end.

Isa.51 [6] Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

back to Heb.1

[13] But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool? [14] Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Matt.22 [44] Yehovah said unto my Lord Messiah, Sit You on my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool?

Pss.110 [1] Yehovah said unto my Lord Messiah, Sit You at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.

Saul to the Colossians:

Colossians 1 [12] Give thanks unto the Father, which have made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
[13] Who have delivered us
from the power of darkness, and had translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
[14] In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
[15] Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

[16] For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
[17] And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

[18] And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
[19] For it pleased the Father that in him Messiah should all fullness dwell;
[20] And,
having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Gen.1 [1] In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Some thoughts from our brother John’s letters:

1 John 1 [1] That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
[
2] (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
[
3] That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Yeshua the Messiah.

1 John 2 [23] Whosoever denieth the Son, the same have not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son have the Father also.

[25] And this is the promise that he have promised us, even eternal life.

1 John 3 [14] We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loves not his brother or sister abides in death.[15] Whosoever hates his brother or sister is a murderer: and you know that no murderer had eternal life abiding in him.[16] Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.

[36] He that believes on the Son have everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him.

1 John 5 [11] And this is the record, that God have given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.[12] He that had the Son have life; and he that had not the Son of God have not life.[13] These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that you have eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God.

[20] And we know that the Son of God is come, and had given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Yeshua the Messiah. This is the true God, and eternal life.

John 1 [1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
[
2] The same was in the beginning with God.
[
3] All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.
[
4] In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
[
5] And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

[14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 17

[1] These words spoke Yeshua, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said,

Father, the hour is come; glorify your Son, that your Son also may glorify You:
[2] As You have given him power over all flesh,
that he should give eternal life to as many as You have given him.
[3] And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Yeshua the Messiah, whom You have sent.

[4] I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gave me to do.
[5] And now, O Father, glorify You me with Your own self with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

[6] I have manifested Your name unto the men which You gave me out of the world: Yours they were, and You gave them me; and they have kept Your word.

[7] Now they have known that all things whatsoever you have given me are of You.
[8] For I have given unto them the words which You gave me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from you, and they have believed that You didst send me.
[9]
I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which you have given me; for they are Yours.
[10] And all mine are Yours, and Yours are mine; and I am glorified in them.
[11] And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through your own name those whom you have given me, that they may be one, as we are.
[12] While I was with them in the world, I kept them in your name: those that You gave me I have kept, and none of them is lost,
but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

[13] And now come I to You; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
[14] I have given them thy word; and
the world had hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
[15] I pray not that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil.

[16] They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

[17] Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
[18] As You have sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
[19] And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
[20] Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

[21] That they all may be one; as thou, Father, are in me, and I in You, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that You had sent me.

[22] And the glory which You gave  me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
[23] I in them, and You in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that You have sent me, and have loved them, as You have loved me.
[24] Father, I will that they also, whom You have given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which You have given me: for You loved me before the foundation of the world.

[25] O righteous Father, the world had not known You: but I have known You, and these have known that You have sent me.[26] And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith You have loved me may be in them, and I in them.

In closing for today:

This is the record, that God have given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

[12] He that had the Son have life;

and he that had not the Son of God have not life.

Be safe out there…
