A Place - מָקוֹם

John.14 [2] In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you , I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Exod.33[ 21] And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:[22 ] And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:[23] And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

2Sam.7 [ 10] Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel , and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,[ 11] And as since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel, and have caused thee to rest from all thine enemies. Also the LORD telleth thee that he will make thee an house.

Pss.132[ 1] LORD, remember David, and all his afflictions:[2] How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;[ 3] Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;[4 ] I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,[5] Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

No compromise, excuse or apology for the Word of God, make a stand!

Lev.25[ 23] The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.

Exod.23 [ 13] And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

[32] Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.[33] They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me:

for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.

Deut.7 [ 1] When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;[2 ] And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:

[3] Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.

[4] For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.[5 ] But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.[6] For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

[16] And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them : neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee.

Judg.2[ 2] And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land ; ye shall throw down their altars : but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this?

[7] And the people served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the LORD, that he did for Israel.
[
8] And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being an hundred and ten years old.
[
9] And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnath-heres, in the mount of Ephraim, on the north side of the hill Gaash.
[
10] And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel.
[11] And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim:
[
12] And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves unto them, and provoked the LORD to anger.
[
13] And they forsook the LORD, and served Baal and Ashtaroth .

Judg.3 [ 5] And the children of Israel dwelt among the Canaanites, Hittites, and Amorites, and Perizzites, and Hivites, and Jebusites:[6] And they took their daughters to be their wives, and gave their daughters to their sons, and served their gods .[7] And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves.
Prov.22 [24] Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:[25 ] Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.

Ezra.9[ 2] For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass.

[10] And now, O our God, what shall we say after this? for we have forsaken thy commandments,
[
11] Which thou hast commanded by thy servants the prophets, saying, The land, unto which ye go to possess it, is an unclean land with the filthiness of the people of the lands, with their abominations, which have filled it from one end to another with their uncleanness.
[
12] Now therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor seek their peace or their wealth for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children for ever.[13] And after all that is come upon us for our evil deeds, and for our great trespass, seeing that thou our God hast punished us less than our iniquities deserve, and hast given us such deliverance as this;[14 ] Should we again break thy commandments, and join in affinity with the people of these abominations? wouldest not thou be angry with us till thou hadst consumed us, so that there should be no remnant nor escaping?[ 15] O LORD God of Israel, thou art righteous: for we remain yet escaped, as it is this day: behold, we are before thee in our trespasses: for we cannot stand before thee because of this.

Matt.7 [6] Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Neh.13 [ 25] And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God, saying, Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves.

2Cor.6 [14] Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?[15] And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?[16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
[17] Wherefore come out from among them, and
be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,[18] And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Lev.20[ 24] But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people. [ 25] Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.

Deut.32 [ 8] When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separate d the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

1Kgs.8 [ 53] For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth , to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.

Ezra.6 [ 21] And the children of Israel, which were come again out of captivity, and all such as had separated themselves unto them from the filthiness of the heathen of the land, to seek the LORD God of Israel, did eat,

Ezra.10 [ 8] And that whosoever would not come within three days, according to the counsel of the princes and the elders, all his substance should be forfeited, and himself separated from the congregation of those that had been carried away.

[11] Now therefore make confession unto the LORD God of your fathers, and do his pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of the land, and from the strange wives.

[16] And the children of the captivity did so. And Ezra the priest, with certain chief of the fathers, after the house of their fathers, and all of them by their names, were separated, and sat down in the first day of the tenth month to examine the matter.

Neh.9 [ 2] And the seed of Israel separated themselves from all strangers , and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers

Neh.10 [ 28] And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the porters, the singers, the Nethinims, and all they that had separated themselves from the people of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every one having knowledge, and having understanding; [29] They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God's law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes;[30] And that we would not give our daughters unto the people of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons:[31] And if the people of the land bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.[ 32] Also we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God;[33] For the shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make an atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God.

Neh.13 [ 3] Now it came to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separate d from Israel all the mixed multitude.

Prov.18 [ 1] Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.

Exod.33 [ 16] For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated , I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

Matt.25 [ 32] And before him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:[33] And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.[ 34] Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:[35 ] For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:[ 36] Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.[ 37] Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?[38] When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?[ 39] Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?[40 ] And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.[41] Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:[ 42] For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:[ 43] I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.[ 44] Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?[ 45] Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.[46] And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

read full chapters: Ezek. 41, 42

Ezek.41[ 12] Now the building that was before the separate place at the end toward the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick round about, and the length thereof ninety cubits. [ 13] So he measured the house, an hundred cubits long; and the separate place , and the building, with the walls thereof, an hundred cubits long; [14] Also the breadth of the face of the house, and of the separate place toward the east, an hundred cubits. [ 15] And he measured the length of the building over against the separate place which was behind it, and the galleries thereof on the one side and on the other side, an hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the porches of the court;

Ezek.42[ 1] Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north: and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate place , and which was before the building toward the north.

[10] The chambers were in the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east, over against the separate place, and over against the building.

[13] Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.
