Christian Self test

Serving the Lord is not a guessing game. We have no excuse not to know. We have God's Word as a study guide. God gave us one life span and one Book, there will be a test!

John.12 [48] He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

In God's Word we are told:

2Cor.13 [5] Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

1Cor.11 [31] For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. [32] But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

Gal.6[4] But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

1Thes.5[21] Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Rom.12 [2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Luke.12[57] Yea, and why even of yourselves

judge ye not what is right?

1Cor.6 [2] Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? [3] Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? [4] If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.

Rev.20 [12] And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. [13] And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

We will start with our self test here.

We are told: Keep God's Commandments.

1John.2[4] He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Exod.20[6] And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Lev.22[31] Therefore shall ye keep my

commandments, and do them: I am the LORD.

Deut.5[10] And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

Prov.3[1] My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

Prov.4[4] He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.

Prov.7[2] Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.

John.14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John.15[10] If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

-----------------------

Step one:

Get a sheet of paper and make a list of the Commandments.

Step two:

Figure out which Commandments you are keeping and which Commandments you are not keeping.

Step three:

List the Commandments you are not keeping.

Step four:

List the reasons you are not keeping them. ( Apply scriptural reasons not your church doctrine )

It might be time to make some adjustments.

We know there are more then 10 Commandments, however we will start here.

After this we need to read the Bible each day to find out what else we are required to keep.

Prov.25 [2] It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

We are kings

Rev.1 [6] And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Here we go.....remember: Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

John.1 [1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Jesus / Yeshua said the same words here in a summary:

Matt.22[35] Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
[36] Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

[37] Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

[38] This is the first and great commandment.

Deut.6:[1] Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:
[2] That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
[3] Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
[4] Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
[5] And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
[6] And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
[7] And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
[8] And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
[9] And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

--------------------
[39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Lev.19[18] Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

[34] But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

[40] On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Deut.5

[1] And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them.
[2] The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.
[3] The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.
[4] The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire,
[5] (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the work of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,
[6] I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
[7] Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
[8] Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:
[9] Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,
[10] And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.
[11] Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
[12] Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.
[13] Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:
[14] But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.
[15] And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
[16] Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
[17] Thou shalt not kill.
[18] Neither shalt thou commit adultery.
[19] Neither shalt thou steal.
[20] Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour.
[21] Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour's.

Matt.22[37] Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
[38] This is the first and great commandment. ( This Commandments 1 to 4 ) .
[39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. ( This Commandments 6 to 10 ).
[40] On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets
.

Read the Bible and pray each day. Fast when you can. This is the believers path!

Rev.22:[14]Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
