We are sadly still using the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s today in the 21 century
January
- Janus's month
Latin Januarius mensis "month of Janus"
Janus is the Roman god of gates and doorways, depicted with two faces looking in opposite directions. His festival month is January.
Januarius had 29 days,
until Julius when it became 31 days long.
Today is

of God, today is Day 4

Today’s
topic:
Forgiveness of sins
This
is the most important thing you can get before you die and meet God.
[14] And the Word
was made flesh,
and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his
glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and
truth.
Lev.19
[17] You
shall not hate your brother in your hear:
you shall in any wise rebuke your neighbor, and not suffer sin upon him.
This
pray message is in two Gospels:
Matt.6
[5] And when you
pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in
the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men.
Verily I say unto you, they have their reward.
[6] But you, when you pray, enter into your closet, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father which
is in secret; and your Father which sees in secret shall reward you openly.
[7] But when you pray, use not vain repetitions, as the
heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
[8] Be not you therefore
like unto them: for your Father knows what things you have need of, before you
ask him.
[9] After this
manner therefore pray:
Our Father which are in heaven,
Hallowed
be your name.
[10] Your kingdom come.
Your
will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
[11]
Give us this day our daily bread.
[12] And
forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
[13] And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil:
For yours is the
kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
[14] For if you forgive
men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
[15] But
if you forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your
trespasses.
Luke 11
[1] And it came to
pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his
disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray….
[2] And he said unto them,
When you pray, say,
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
Thy will
be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
[3] Give
us day by day our daily bread.
[4] And forgive us our sins;
for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver
us from evil.
Matt.18
[21] Then came
Peter to him, and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? until
seven times?
[22] Yeshua said
unto him, I say not unto you, until seven times:
but, until seventy times seven. - Another words, all the time
[23] Therefore is
the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of
his servants.
[24] And when he
had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand
talents.
[25] But forasmuch
as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and
children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
[26] The servant
therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me,
and I will pay you all.
[27] Then the lord
of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the
debt.
[28] But the same
servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, which owed him an
hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying,
Pay me that you owe.
[29] And his fellow
servant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me,
and I will pay you all.
[30] And he would
not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.
[31] So when his
fellow servants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto
their lord all that was done.
[32] Then his lord,
after that he had called him, said unto him, O you wicked
servant I forgave you all that debt, because you desired me:
[33] Should not you
also have had compassion on your fellow servant, even as I had pity on you?
[34] And his lord
was wroth and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that
was due unto him.
[35]
So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if you from your hearts
forgive not everyone his brother their trespasses.
Pss.130
[1] Out of the
depths have I cried unto you, O Yehovah.
[2] Lord, hear my
voice: let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
[3] If you, Yehovah should
mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
[4] But there is forgiveness with you, that you may be feared.
Luke 17
[1] Then said he
unto the disciples,
It is impossible
but that offences will come:
but woe unto him, through whom they
come!
[2]
It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and
he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
[3] Take heed to yourselves:
If your brother trespass against you, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
[4] And if he trespass against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to you, saying, I repent; you shall forgive him. (and talk)
1 John 5
[16] If any man
see his brother sin a sin which is not unto
death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death.
There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
1 John 1
[9] If we
confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and
to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Messiah forgave our sins
1Cor.15
[3] For I delivered
unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Messiah died for our sins according to the
scriptures;
Gal.1
[4] Messiah gave himself for our sins, that
he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God
and our Father:
[5] To whom be glory
forever and ever. Amen.
Heb.1
[1] God, who at
sundry times and in divers manners spake in
time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
[2] Had in these last days
spoken unto us by his Son, whom he had appointed heir of all things, by whom
also he made the worlds;
[3] Who being the
brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all
things by the word of his power, when he had by
himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on
high;
[4] Being made so
much better than the angels, as he had by inheritance obtained a more excellent
name than they.
1 Pet.2
[24] Who his
own self bare our sins in his own body on
the tree, that
we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you
were healed.
1 John 2
[2] And Yeshua is the
propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
1 John 4
[10] Herein is
love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Propitiation
- 1) an appeasing, propitiating 2) the means of
appeasing, a propitiation
- Yeshua’s blood
cleanses us from sin
1 John 3
[5] And you
know that he was manifested to take
away our sins; and in him is no sin.
Luke 17
[24] For as the
lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines unto the
other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of
man be in his day.
[25] But first must
he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
[26] And as it was
in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
[27] They did eat,
they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that
Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
[28] Likewise also
as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold,
they planted, they built;
[29] But the same
day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and
destroyed them all.
[30] Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is
revealed.
[31] In that day,
he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not
come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not
return back.
[32] Remember Lot's
wife.
[33] Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and
whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
Messiah
died for our sins
Read all of Isa. 53, Psalm 22
A
few verses from Isa.53
[10]
Yet it pleased Yehovah to
bruise him; he had put him to grief: when you shall make
his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall
prolong his days, and the pleasure of Yehovah shall
prosper in his hand.
[11]
He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his
knowledge shall my righteous servant justify
many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
[12]
Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the
spoil with the strong; because he had poured out his soul unto death: and he
was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the
transgressors.
Rom.5
[6] For
when we were yet without strength, in due time Messiah died for the
ungodly.
[8] But God commends his love toward us, in that, while
we were yet sinners, Messiah died for us.
1Cor.15
[3]
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how
that Messiah died for our sins according to the
scriptures;
[4] And that he was buried and that he rose again the third day
according to the scriptures:
[5] And that he was seen of Cephas,
then of the twelve…
Mark 6
[12] And they (the
apostles) went out, and preached that men should repent.
Romans
10
[9] That if you
shall confess with your mouth the
Lord Yeshua and
shall believe in your heart that God had raised him from the
dead, you shall be saved.
[10]
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and
with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
[11] For the
scripture said, whosoever believes on him shall not
be ashamed.
[12] For there is
no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich
unto all that call upon him.
[13]
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Our righteousness:
Deut.6
[25] And it shall be our righteousness, if we
observe to do all these commandments before Yehovah our
God, as he had commanded us.
Rom.5
[9] … being now justified by his blood, we shall
be saved from wrath through him.
Saved from
wrath
John 10 Yeshua said:
[9] I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he
shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
[10] The thief
comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:
I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Acts 2
[21] And it shall
come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the
name of the Lord shall be saved.
[38] Then Peter
said unto them,
Repent,
and be baptized every one of you in the name of Yeshua is
the Messiah for the remission of sins,
and you shall receive
the gift of the Holy Spirit.
[39] For the
promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even
as many as the Lord our God shall call.
[40] And with many
other words did he testify and exhort, saying, save yourselves from
this untoward generation.
Meaning
of untoward: perverse, wicked
Matt.24
[13] But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall
be saved.
That is end of your
life or the world
Mark 6
[16] He that
believes and is baptized shall be saved; but
he that believes not shall be damned.
Matt.9
[10] And it came to
pass, as Yeshua sat at meat in the
house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his
disciples.
[11] And when
the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why does
your Master eat with publicans and sinners?
[12] But when Yeshua heard
that, he said unto them, They that
be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
[13] But go and
learn what that means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners
to repentance.
Pharisees
were self-righteous
Acts
10
[34]
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a
truth I perceive that God is no respecter of
persons:
[35] But in every
nation he that fears him, and works righteousness, is accepted with him.
[36] The word which
God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Yeshua
the Messiah:
(he is Lord of all:)
[37] That word, I
say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from
Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
[38] How God
anointed Yeshua of Nazareth with the
Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that
were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
[39] And we are
witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in
Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:
[40] Him
God raised
up the third day, and showed him openly;
[41] Not to all the
people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and
drink with him after he rose from the dead.
[42] And he
commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he
which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
[43] To him give
all the prophets witness,
that through
his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
Acts 5
[31]Yeshua had
God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel,
and forgiveness of sins.
Deut.4
[29] … if from
thence you shall seek Yehovah your
God, you shall find him,
if you
seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Deut.10
[12] And now,
Israel, what does Yehovah your
God require of you, but to fear Yehovah your
God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve Yehovah your
God with all your heart and with all your soul,
[13] To keep
the commandments of Yehovah, and
his statutes, which I command you this day for your good.
Lev.19
[34] But the
stranger that dwells with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and
you shall
love him as yourself;
for you were strangers in the land of
Egypt: I am Yehovah your
God.
Luke 10
[27] …
you shall love Yehovah your
God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your
strength,
and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.
Luke 24
[47] And that repentance and remission of sins should be
preached in Yeshua’s name among all
nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Col.1
[14] In whom we
have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Some
protocol in the congregation:
1Tim.5
[1] Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him
as a father; and the younger men as brethren;
[17] Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of
double honour, especially they who labour in
the word and doctrine.
[18] For the scripture said, you shall not muzzle the ox that treadeth out
the corn. And, the laborer is worthy of his reward.
[19] Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or
three witnesses
[20] Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may
fear.
Matt.18 – a 4 step program
[15]
Moreover if your brother shall trespass against
you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone: if he shall
hear you, you have gained your brother.
[16] But if he will
not hear you, then take with you one or two more, that in the mouth
of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
[17] And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the
church: (the elder, minister)
but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto you
as an heathen man and a publican.
Do you love your neighbor, brother or sister as yourself?
In closing for today:
Forgiveness of sins
is the most important thing you can get, before you meet God. Accept Yeshua and His
blood
