The father of lies, the devil

John told us:

1 John 2 [21] I have not written unto you because you know not the truth, but because you know it, and that

no lie is of the truth.

John 8 [44] You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do.

The devil was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When the devil speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for the devil is a liar, and the father of it.

Isa.14

[7] The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.
[8] Yea, the fir trees rejoice at you, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since you are laid down, no feller is come up against us.

[9] Hell from beneath is moved for you to meet you at your coming: it stirreth up the dead for you, even all the chief ones of the earth; it had raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
[10] All they shall speak and say unto you, Are you also become weak as we? Are you become like unto us?

[11] Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of your viols: the worm is spread under you, and the worms cover you.

[12] How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! (son of the black of the morning)

How are you cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations!

Here is the devil’s pride:

For the devil have said in his heart,

I will ascend into heaven,

I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:

I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

[14] I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;

I will be like the most High.

[15] Yet the devil was brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

[16] They that see you shall narrowly look upon you, and consider you, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
[17] That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
[18] All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.
[19] But the devil is cast out of your grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.
[20] You shall not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land, and slain your people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.

Ezekiel 28 - the devil was created

Satan - the devil [13] …have been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was his covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of your tabrets and of your pipes was prepared in you in the day that you was created.

[14] You are (was) the anointed cherub that covers (protects); and I have set you so: you were upon the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

[15] You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, until iniquity was found in you.

[16] By the multitude of your merchandise they have filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore I will cast you as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

[17] Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness:

I will cast you to the ground; I will lay you before kings, that they may behold you.

[18] You have defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your traffic; (merchandise, trade ) therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of you, it shall devour you, and I will bring you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold you.
[19] All they that know you among the people shall be astonished at you: you shall be a terror, and never shall you be any more.

Rev.12 [7] And there was war in heaven:

Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, [8] And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

[9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Luke 10 [18] … Yeshua said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

2 Pet. 2

[4] For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment…

Jude 1

[6] And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he had reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Rev.20

[10]… the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.

So watch your heart and imaginations…

The Heart:

Gen.6 [5] And Yehovah saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

1Kgs.12

[26] And Jeroboam said in his heart, Now shall the kingdom return to the house of David:
[27] If this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of Yehovah at Jerusalem, then shall the heart of this people turn again unto their lord, even unto Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again to Rehoboam king of Judah.

[28] Whereupon the king Jeroboam took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold your gods, O Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt.

[30] And this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan.

[31] And he made an house of high places, and made priests of the lowest of the people, which were not of the sons of Levi.

[32] And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in Judah, and he offered upon the altar. So did he in Bethel, sacrificing unto the calves that he had made: and he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made.

[33] So he Jeroboam offered upon the altar which he had made in Bethel the fifteenth day of the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised of his own heart; and ordained a feast unto the children of Israel: and he offered upon the altar, and burnt incense.

Prov.21 [4] An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.

Prov.26 [23] Burning lips and a wicked heart are like a potsherd covered with silver dross.

Prov.28 [26] He that trusts in his own heart is a fool…

Jer.9

[13] … Yehovah said, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein; [14] But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:

[15] Therefore thus said Yehovah of hosts, the God of Israel;

Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.
[16] I will scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them.

Jer.23

[16] Thus said Yehovah of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of Yehovah.

[17] They say still unto them that despise me, Yehovah hath said, You shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walks after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.

[18] For who hath stood in the counsel of Yehovah, and had perceived and heard his word? Who had marked his word, and heard it?

[19] Behold, a whirlwind of Yehovah is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.

[20] The anger of Yehovah shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days you shall consider it perfectly.

[21] I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

[22] But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

[23] Am I a God at hand, said Yehovah, and not a God afar off?

[24] Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? said Yehovah. Do not I fill heaven and earth? said Yehovah.

[25] I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

[26] How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; [27] Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

Jer.17 [9] The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

I am Yehovah your God, and there is none else

Deut.4 [35] Unto you it was showed, that you mightest know that Yehovah he is God; there is none else beside him.

[39] Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that Yehovah he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.

1Kgs.8 [60] That all the people of the earth may know that Yehovah his God, and that there is none else.

Isa.45 [5] I am Yehovah, and there is none else, there is no God beside me:

I girded you, though you have not known me: [6] That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am Yehovah, and there is none else.

[14] Thus said Yehovah, the labor of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto you, and they shall be thine: they shall come after you; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto you, they shall make supplication unto you, saying, Surely God is in you; and there is none else, there is no God.

[18] For thus said Yehovah that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am Yehovah; and there is none else.

[22] Look unto me, and be you saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

Isa.46 [9] Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, [10] Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure…

Joel.2 [27] And you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Yehovah your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

Rev.21 [8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death

Rev.12 [12] Therefore rejoice, you heavens, and ye that dwell in them.

Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

In closing for today:

Watch your heart and imaginations

1 John 2 [16] For all that is in the world,

the lust of the flesh, and

the lust of the eyes, and

the pride of life,

is not of the Father, but is of the world.

[17] And the world passes away, and the lust thereof:

but he / or she that does the will of God abides forever.

John said:

1 John 2 [21] I have not written unto you because you know not the truth but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

I am reminded again to inform you to beware of the false image of love, false emotions, loneliness, depression, financial drain, suicide and the artificial false festival lights they put up.

Satan really sets the stage for deceive you.

Beware if you feel or hear a voice telling you to separate yourself from the congregation, go off on your own and read or whatever.

Be safe out there; keep your eyes open if you are around crowds, malls etc…
