Shabbat Shalom

  שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם

Today we use the Gregorian calendar (From Pope Gregory, from the 1500's)

Today is Jan. 112025

January -- Janus's month

Middle English Januarie
Latin Januarius "of Janus"
Janus is the Roman god of gates and doorways, depicted with two faces looking in opposite directions.

Januarius had 29 days, until Julius when it became 31 days long.

Yehovah has His own calendar:

We are now in the 10th month, Teveth, day 10

Esth.2 [16] So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.

Today’s Topic

6 and 7

I noticed many things happen in these months, years and days with numbers 6 and 7:

The world’s time, it seems:

Approx. first 4000 years was from the beginning until Yeshua rose from the dead, then from Yeshua to the end of time, we have approximately 2000 years left?

6000 years?

6 days of creation - Gen. 1

[31] And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Man was created on the 6th day

Gen. 1

[24] And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
[25] And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
[26] And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.
[27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
[28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.

[29] And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
[30] And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creeps upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

[31] And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Gen.2 – the 7th day

[1] Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
[2] And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
[3] And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

[4] These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that Yehovah God made the earth and the heavens…

Men lived longer, we noticed after this verse:

Gen.6 [3] And Yehovah said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 120 years

A concept we came up with many years ago:

50 jubiles x 120 years = 6000 years

7th month – Day of Atonement - jubile

Six years you shall sow

Seventh year – Sabbath

Gather in the fruit

Lev.25 [3] Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;
[
4] But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for Yehovah: you shall neither sow your field, nor prune your vineyard.

[9] Then shall you cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall you make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

[10] And you shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and you shall return every man unto his possession, and you shall return every man unto his family.

Matt.24 [31] And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Mark.13 [27] And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

Chapter 6 – the World was destroyed the first time

[7] And Yehovah said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Noah was 600

Gen.7

[1] And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
[2] Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
[3] Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.

[4] For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
[5] And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.
[6] And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.

[7] And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
[8] Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
[9] There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.
[10] And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
[11] In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

[12] And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
[13] In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;
[14] They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.
[15] And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.
[16] And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.
[17] And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.
[18] And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.
[19] And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.
[20] Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.
[21] And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:
[22] All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
[23] And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
[24] And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.earth.

601 years, the earth was dry

Gen.8

[4] And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.

[13] And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.

Just like in Gen. 1

Gen.1 [4] And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

John 8 [12] Then spoke Yeshua again unto them, saying,

I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 9 [5] As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

Yeshua said:

Matt. 5 [13] You are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

[14] You are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
[15] Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it gives light unto all that are in the house.[16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Six branches

Exod.25

[32] And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side:

[33] Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.

[35] And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick.

[37] And you shall make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it.

Sounds like:

Josh.6

[1] Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.
[2] And Yehovah said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.

[3] And you shall compass the city, all you men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shall you do six days.

[4] And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day you shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.

[5] And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.

[6] And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of Yehovah.
[7] And he said unto the people, Pass on, and compass the city, and let him that is armed pass on before the ark of Yehovah.
[8] And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams' horns passed on before Yehovah, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of Yehovah followed them.

[9] And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.
[10] And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, you shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall you shout.

[11] So the ark of Yehovah compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp.
[12] And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of Yehovah.
[13] And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of Yehovah went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came after the ark of Yehovah, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.
[14] And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they did six days.

[15] And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times.

[16] And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for Yehovah had given you the city.

In the seventh month

Lev.23

[23] And Yehovah spoke unto Moses, saying,
[24] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying,
In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall you have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
[25] You shall do no servile work therein: but you shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah.

[26] And Yehovah spoke unto Moses, saying,
[27] Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be
a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah.
[28] And you shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before Yehovah your God.
[29] For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.
[30] And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
[31] You shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
[32] It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and you shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall you celebrate your sabbath.

Lev.23 [9] Then shall you cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall you make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

[33] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
[34] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be
the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto Yehovah.
[35] On the first day shall be an holy convocation: you shall do no servile work therein.
[36] Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and you shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah: it is a solemn assembly; and you shall do no servile work therein.

Deut.31

[10] And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,
[11] When all Israel is come to appear before Yehovah your God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.

[12] Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and your stranger that is within your gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear Yehovah your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:
[13] And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear Yehovah your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.

Back to Lev. 23

[37] These are the feasts of Yehovah, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah, a burnt offering,

Again:

6 days of creation - Gen. 1

Gen.1 [31] And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Gen.2

[1] Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

[2] And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made

One week:

6 days – the 7th day is the Sabbath

Rev.10 [7] But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

In closing for today:

Thus the heavens and the earth are finished

The world’s time, it seems:

Approx. first 4000 years was from the beginning until Yeshua rose from the dead, then from Yeshua to the end of time, we have approximately 2000 years left?

6000 years?

We will have to wait and see…

We know the Gregorian calendar (From Pope Gregory, from the 1500's) is off - 2025? - They changed dates, months and years…

75 years to the 22nd century? - Where are we now in time? Who knows?
