We read from law and the prophets every Sabbath

Acts.13[13] Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.[14] But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.[15] And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.

Acts.15[21] For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

Luke.4[16] And he, Yeshua / Jesus came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.[17] And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias.

Satan knows he has the people without Messiah, so he transforms himself into an angel of light to catch the believers in Messiah.

Another gospel, another Jesus ( Yeshua ) or another spirit is not a new thing. Satan always finds his followers .

A new doctrine started right in the Kingdom of Heaven. Satan brought this doctrine down to earth and we know and live the rest of the story.

[13] For such are false apostles , deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Messiah / Christ .[14 ] And no marvel ; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. [15] Therefore it is no great thing if his ( Satan's ) ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness ; whose end shall be according to their works.

Rom.16[ 17] Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them .[18] For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by "good words" and "fair speeches" deceive the hearts of the simple.

Gal.1[ 6] I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel :[7 ] Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

Matt.24 [11 ] And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

[24] For there shall arise false Messiahs / Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Mark.13 [22 ] For false Messiahs / Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

Matt.7 [15 ] Beware of false prophets , which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Luke.6 [26 ] Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets .

[12] For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
[13] But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

Are there strange gods among you?

Gen. 31 [ 1] And he heard the words of Laban's sons, saying, Jacob hath taken away all that was our father's; and of that which was our father's hath he gotten all this glory.
[19] And Laban went to shear his sheep: and Rachel had stolen the images that were her father's.

[30] And now, though thou wouldest needs be gone, because thou sore longedst after thy father's house, yet wherefore hast thou stolen my gods? [31 ] And Jacob answered and said to Laban, Because I was afraid: for I said, Peradventure thou wouldest take by force thy daughters from me. [32] With whomsoever thou findest thy gods , let him not live: before our brethren discern thou what is thine with me, and take it to thee. For Jacob knew not that Rachel had stolen them . [33] And Laban went into Jacob's tent, and into Leah's tent, and into the two maidservants' tents; but he found them not. Then went he out of Leah's tent, and entered into Rachel's tent. [34] Now Rachel had taken the images , and put them in the camel's furniture, and sat upon them. And Laban searched all the tent, but found them not. [ 35] And she said to her father, Let it not displease my lord that I cannot rise up before thee; for the custom of women is upon me. And he searched, but found not the images. [36 ] And Jacob was wroth, and chode with Laban: and Jacob answered and said to Laban, What is my trespass? what is my sin, that thou hast so hotly pursued after me?
[37] Whereas thou hast searched all my stuff, what hast thou found of all thy household stuff? set it here before my brethren and thy brethren, that they may judge betwixt us both.

Gen.35 [2 ] Then Jacob said unto his household , and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you , and be clean, and change your garments:

[4] And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.

Joshua 24:2 And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods.
"3": And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the flood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac.

"14": Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.

"15": And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Perils among false brethren

a man's foes shall be they of his own household

2Cor.11 [26 ] In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; [ 5] To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

Gal.2 [4] And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

2Cor.7 [5 ] For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears .

Matt.10 [ 32] Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
[33] But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Luke.12 [51] Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth?

I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

[53] The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
