A recap
Gen.2
[1] Thus the heavens and the earth were
finished, and all the host of them.
[2] And on the seventh day God ended his work which
he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had
made.
[3] And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it:
because that
in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
[4] These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when
they were created,
in the day that Yehovah God made the earth and the
heavens…
Gen.7
[1] And Yehovah said unto Noah, Come and all thy house into the ark; for you have I seen righteous before me in this generation
[5] And Noah did according unto all that Yehovah
commanded him.
[6] And Noah was
six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the
earth.
Gen.8
[4] And the ark rested in
the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon
the mountains of Ararat.
During the feast of tabernacles:
Lev.23
[34] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The
fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of
tabernacles for seven days unto Yehovah.
Luke 17
[26] And as it was in the days of Noah,
so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
[16] When he uttereth his
voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causeth
the vapours
to ascend from the ends of the earth: he makes lightnings
with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his
treasures.
Some History:
Titus destroyed the second temple in 70 AD
No temple now in Israel in the 21 century
490 years:
Dan. 9 [24] Seventy weeks are determined upon thy
people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and
to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity,
and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and
prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
[25] Know therefore and understand, that from the going
forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the
Prince shall be seven weeks, 49 years - and threescore and two weeks: 434
years - the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous
times.
49 + 434 = 483 years
Verse 25 - Ezra and Nehemiah’s time? rebuilt
the temple?
[26] And after threescore and two weeks, 434 years
, shall Messiah be cut off, but
not for himself:
and the
people of the prince that shall come
shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with
a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Is verse 26 when Titus destroyed the 2 temple?
483 + 7 = 490 years above – Dan. 9:24
The last 7 years?
[27] And he shall confirm the covenant with many for
one week: and in the midst of the week – 3 ½
years - he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for
the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even
until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
the
transgression of desolation
Dan.8 [13] Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint
said unto that certain saint which spake, How long
shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the
transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary
and the host to be trodden under foot?
Spoken of by Daniel the prophet:
Matt.24 [15] When you therefore shall see the
abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the
prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth,
let him understand:)
Mark.13 [14] But when you shall see the
abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the
prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth
understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
The 3rd temple?
Rev.11
[1]
And there was given me a reed like
unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure
the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
[2] But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. 3 ½ years
[3]
And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they
shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in
sackcloth. Approx. 3 ½ years
[4] These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing
before the God of the earth.
Zech.4
[1]
And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is
wakened out of his sleep,
[2] And said unto me, What seest thou? And
I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon
the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps,
which are upon the top thereof:
[3] And two olive trees by it, one
upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
[4] So I answered and spake to the
angel that talked with me, saying, What are these,
my lord?
[5]
Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest
thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
[11]
Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these
two olive trees upon the right side of the
candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
[12] And I answered again, and said unto him, What
be these two olive branches which through the two golden
pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
[13] And he answered me and said, Know you not
what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
[14] Then said he, These are
the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
The
time of the end
Dan.8 [17] So he came near
where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he
said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time
of the end shall be the vision.
Dan.11 [35] And some of
them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them
white, even to the time of the end:
because it is yet for a time appointed.
[40] And at the time
of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the
north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with
horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall
overflow and pass over.
Dan.12 [4] But thou, O
Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time
of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
[9] And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
[10] Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but
the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the
wise shall understand.
[11] And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away,
and the abomination that maketh desolate
set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 1290
days
[12] Blessed is he that waits, and comes to the thousand three
hundred and five and thirty days. 1335 days - 45 day more
[13] But go thou thy way till the end be:
for you shall rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
Rev.10 [6]
And sware
by him that liveth for ever
and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth,
and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein,
that there should be time no longer.
[7] But in the days of the voice of the
seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God
should be finished, as he had declared to his servants the prophets.
Some backup:
Dan.11 [36] And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. [37] Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
38] But in his estate shall he honor the God of forces: and a god
whom his fathers
knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and
with precious stones, and pleasant things.
[39] Thus shall he do in the most strong
holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory:
and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
[40] And at the time of the end shall
the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against
him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships;
and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
[41] He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many
countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even
Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
[42] He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the
land of Egypt shall not escape.
[43] But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver,
and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall
be at his steps.
[44] But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him:
therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy,
and utterly to make away many.
[45] And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas
in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall
help him.
Sounds like 2 Thes.2 - the 3rd temple?
[1] Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord
Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
[2] That you be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by
spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at
hand.
[3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall
not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man
of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
[4] Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is
worshipped;
so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
[5] Remember you not, that, when I was yet with you, I told
you these things?
[6] And now you know what withholds that he might be revealed in his
time.
[7] For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only
he who now letteth
will let, until he be taken out of the way.
[8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom
the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the
brightness of his coming:
[9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and
signs and lying wonders,
[10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish;
because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong
delusion, that they should believe a lie:[12]
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in
unrighteousness.
Our powerful God:
Isa.40
[1] Comfort you, comfort you my people, said your God.
[2] Speak
you comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is
accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she had received of Yehovah's
hand double for all her sins.
[3] The voice of him that crieth
in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of Yehovah,
make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
[4] Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be
made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
[5] And the glory of Yehovah shall
be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of Yehovah
had spoken it.
[6] The voice said, Cry. And he said, What
shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the
flower of the field:
[7] The grass withers, the flower fades because the spirit of Yehovah
bloweth
upon it: surely the people is grass.
[8] The grass withereth, the
flower fadeth:
but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
[9] O Zion, that bringest good
tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest
good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say
unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
[10] Behold, the Lord Yehovah
will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his
reward is with him, and his work before him.
[11] He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs
with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are
with young.
[12] Who had measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and
meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a
measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?
[13] Who had directed the Spirit of Yehovah,
or being his counselor had
taught him?
[14] With whom took he counsel, and who instructed
him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and
showed to him the way of understanding?
[15] Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are
counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh
up the isles as a very little thing.
[16] And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor
the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering.
[17] All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted
to him less than nothing, and vanity.
[18] To whom then will you liken God? or
what likeness will you compare unto him?
[19] The workman melteth a
graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it
over with gold, and casteth silver
chains.
[20] He that is so impoverished that he had no oblation chooseth
a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto
him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that
shall not be moved.
[21] Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
Had it not been told you from the beginning?
Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?
[22] It is he that sitteth upon
the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that
stretches out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth
them out as a tent to dwell in:
[23] That bringeth the
princes to nothing; he maketh the
judges of the earth as vanity.
[24] Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea,
their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them,
and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble.
[25] To whom then will you liken me, or
shall I be equal? said the Holy One.
[26] Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who had created
these things, that bringeth out
their host by number: he calleth them
all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not
one faileth.
[27] Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest,
O Israel, My way is hid from Yehovah, and my
judgment is passed over from my God?
[28] Have you not known? have you not
heard, that the everlasting God, Yehovah, the
Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, neither is weary? there
is no searching of his understanding.
[29] He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might
he increases strength.
[30] Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men
shall utterly fall:
[31] But they that wait upon Yehovah
shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they
shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Inclosing for now,
We wait for the end times and Yeshua’s
return
Coming:
