Today’s topic:

Angels

Jude 1

[6] And the angels which kept not their first estate,

but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

[9] Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation,

but said, Yehovah rebuke you.

2 Pet.2

[4] For if God spared not the angels that sinned,

but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment…

Michael and Gabriel:

Dan.8

[16] And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.

Dan.9

[21] Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning,

being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

[22] And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give you skill and understanding.

[23] At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth,

and I am come to show you; for you are greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.

[24] Seventy weeks – 490 years

are determined upon thy people

and upon thy holy city,

to finish the transgression,

and to make an end of sins,

and to make reconciliation for iniquity,

and to bring in everlasting righteousness,

and to seal up the vision and prophecy,

and to anoint the most Holy.

[25] Know therefore and understand,

that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, - 49 years –

and threescore and two weeks: - 434 years -  the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

434 + 49 = 483 years

[26] And after threescore and two weeks - 434 years - shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself:

and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary;

and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

[27] And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:

7 years

and in the midst of the week - 3 ½ years  - he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease,

and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate,

even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

490 years above = 483 + 7 years

Dan.10

[13] But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days:

but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

[21] But I will show you that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

Dan.12

[1] And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of your people:

and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered,

every one that shall be found written in the book.

Pss.8 - Messiah

[5] For thou have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honor.

Pss.68

[17] The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

Pss.78

[25] Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full.

[49] He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.

Pss.91 Messiah

[11] For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all thy ways.

[12] They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash thy foot against a stone.

Pss.103

[20] Bless Yehovah, you his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

Pss.104

[4] Who makes his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

Pss.148

[2] Praise you him, all his angels: praise you him, all his hosts.

Luke 1

[19] And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God;

and am sent to speak unto you, and to show you these glad tidings.

[26] And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

[27] To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.

[28] And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, you that art highly favored, the Lord is with you:

blessed are you among women.

[29] And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

[30] And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary:

for you have found favor with God.

[31] And, behold, you shall conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and shall call his name Yeshua.

[32] He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and Yehovah God shall give unto Him the throne of his father David:

[33] And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever;

and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

[34] Then said Mary unto the angel, how shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

[35] And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you:

therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of you shall be called the Son of God.

[36] And, behold, your cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age:

and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.

[37] For with God nothing shall be impossible.

[38] And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to your word.

And the angel departed from her.

Rev.12

[7] And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

[8] And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

[9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world:

he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Rev.19

[17] And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven,

Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

[18] That you may eat the flesh of kings,

and the flesh of captains,

and the flesh of mighty men,

and the flesh of horses,

and of them that sit on them,

and the flesh of all men,

both free and bond, both small and great.

[19] And I saw the beast,

and the kings of the earth,

and their armies,

gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

[20] And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image.

These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

In closing for today,

Heb.13 [2] Be not forgetful to entertain strangers:

for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Praise Yah
