Answers to some Bible questions
Question:
Acts.7 [14] Then sent Joseph, and called his father Jacob to him, and all his kindred, threescore and fifteen souls.
Stephen may have more information then we have today. Also Stephen never said this was verbatim. Stephen gave a great witness for the Lord here under such terrible persecution.

Question:
Acts.7 [15] So Jacob went down into Egypt, and died, he, and our fathers,[16] And were carried over into Sychem, ( Gen.33:18 city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, )
and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought
for a sum of money of the sons of Emmor the father of Sychem.
Answer:
All scriptures are talking about the SAME land in Canaan. Stephen just mentioned that a sepulchre that Abraham bought.
Emmor the father of Sychem and Hamor the father of Shechem ARE THE SAME!
Example- notice the name Rahab and Rachab, they are the same person:
Josh.6[17] And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.
Matt.1 [5] And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse
Gen. 33[18] And Jacob came to Shalem, a city of Shechem, which is in the land of
Canaan, when he came from Padan-aram; and pitched his tent before the city.
[19] And
he bought a parcel of a field,
where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem's father, for an hundred pieces of money.
Gen. 49: [29] And he (Jacob) charged them, and said unto them, I am to be gathered unto my people: bury me with my fathers
in the cave, that is in the field
of Ephron the Hittite,[30] In the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in
the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite
for a possession of a buryingplace.
[31] There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife; there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife;
and there I buried Leah.[32] The purchase of the field and of the cave that is therein was from the
children of Heth.
Gen.50[13] For his sons carried him into the land of Canaan, and buried him in the cave
of the field of Machpelah, which Abraham bought with the field for a possession of a
buryingplace of Ephron the Hittite, before Mamre.
[14] And Joseph returned into Egypt, he, and his brethren, and all that went up with him to bury
his father, after he had buried his father.
Josh.24 [1] And Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and called for the elders of Israel, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before God. [25] So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem.
[32] And the bones of Joseph, which the children of Israel brought up out of Egypt,
buried they in Shechem, in a parcel of ground ( Gen.33:18 city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, )
which Jacob bought of the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem
for an hundred pieces of silver: and it became the inheritance of the children of Joseph

Question:
Matt.2 [23] And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.
Answer: Micah2:23 is not the prediction.
This has to be explained correct.
A Nazarene is a TYPE or SHADOW of YESHUA.
Example -
Num.6[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall
separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD:
[3] He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or
vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried.
[4] All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree, from the
kernels even to the husk.
[5] All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no rasor come upon his head: until the
days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the LORD, he shall be holy, and shall let
the locks of the hair of his head grow.
[6] All the days that he separateth himself unto the LORD he shall come at no dead body.
and so on...
Samson, a Nazarite, a deliverer: is a type or shadow of Yeshua
Judg.13[4] Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not
any unclean thing:
[5] For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no rasor shall come on his head: for the child
shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand
of the Philistines.
[6] Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came unto me, and his
countenance was like the countenance of an angel of God, very terrible: but I asked him not
whence he was, neither told he me his name:
[7] But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor
strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the
womb to the day of his death.
Isaiah Chap. 11 verse 1, where the Messiah is called the Branch (Heb., neh-tzer), meaning the separated One, or “the Nazarene.”
Are these contradictory? Not at all when the Person came who unlocked the puzzle by the course of events in His divinely ordained life.
He was born in Bethlehem, as Micah said; soon after, He was taken to Egypt by Joseph and Mary, from whence God “called” Him back to the Holy Land after the death of wicked King Herod (Matthew Chap. 2 verses 13-21). And when Joseph and Mary came back to Israel with the Child Jesus, they settled in Nazareth, the city where the Lord was reared.16 Hence, in His ministry He was called “Jesus of Nazareth” (Luke Chap. 18 verse 37; Acts Chap. 2 verse 22).
Isn’t it strange that, though He was born in Bethlehem, no one ever calls Him “Jesus of Bethlehem,” and though He is called “Jesus of Nazareth,” everyone knows He was born in Bethlehem, not Nazareth! Being of the tribe of Judah, and born in Bethlehem, He was indeed a true Nazarene,” a “separated one,” by living in Galilee instead of with
his Judean brethren in Judah! Even as Joseph of old also was separated (“Nazared”) from his brethern by his exile for so many years in Egypt (see Genesis Chap. 49 verse 26, where the word “separate” comes from the Hebrew root nazar). The historical record of the life of Jesus makes crystal clear these three so called contradictory prophecies.

Through Jacob's line the Messiah would come and all nations would be Blessed.
