Jer.18[ 15] Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the "ancient paths", to walk in paths, in a way not cast up; ( not esteemed highly, not of God)

forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? yet my
people have forgotten me days without number.

they have perverted their way
, and they have forgotten the LORD their
God.
Jer.13[
14] And I will dash them one
against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith the LORD: I
will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them.[
25] This is thy lot, the portion of
thy measures from me, saith the LORD; because thou hast
forgotten me, and trusted in falsehood.

gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily
gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten
me, saith the Lord GOD.
Ezek.23[
35] Therefore thus saith the
Lord GOD; Because thou hast forgotten me
, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness
and thy whoredoms.

lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject
thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast
forgotten the law of thy God

so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart
was exalted; therefore have they
forgotten me.

Isa.17[
10] Because
thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation
, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore
shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips:[

thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish:
but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.
What do you use your
Voice
for in this world
?
What are you proclaiming,
crying?
What are you
preparing?
What
way or path
are you professing?
Are you preparing the way
for the Lord's second coming?
**Isa.40
[
3] The
voice
of him that
crieth in the wilderness
, Prepare
ye the
way of the LORD
, make straight
in the desert a highway for our God.

Mal.3[
1] Behold,
I will send my messenger
, John.1[
23] He said,
I am the voice
of one
crying in the wilderness
,
Make straight
the
way of the Lord,
as said the prophet Esaias.
Matt.11[
9] But what went ye out for
to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.[
10] For this is he, of whom it is written,
Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before
thee.[11] Verily I say unto
you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than
John the Baptist: notwithstanding
he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
[13] For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
[14] And if ye will receive it
,
this is Elias
, which was for to come.
[15] He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Matt.17[10] And his disciples asked
him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? [11] And
Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore
all things. [12] But I say unto you,
That Elias is come already, and
they knew him not,
but have done unto him whatsoever they
listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer
of them.[13]
Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.
Mark.9[11] And they asked him, saying,
Why say the scribes that Elias must
first come? [12] And he answered and told them,
Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth
all things; and how it is written of the Son of man,
that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought. [13] But I say unto
you, That Elias is indeed come
,
and they have done unto him whatsoever
they listed, as it is written of him .

8] And they answered him,
He was an
hairy man, and girt with a girdle of
leather about his loins
. And he said, It is Elijah the Tishbite
.

John had his raiment of
camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his

to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.[
27] This is he, of whom it is
written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy
way before thee.[28] For I say
unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet
than John the Baptist: but he
that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.
**Mal.4
[ 5] Behold,
I will send you Elijah the
prophet before
the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD
:[ 6] And
he shall
turn the heart of the fathers to the children,
and the heart of the children to their fathers,
lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
Luke.1[

him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall
bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
Job.28
[7] There is a path which no fowl
knoweth, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen:
Ecc. 12[
13] Let
us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments:
for this is the whole duty of man.
[14] And thou shalt have joy
and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.[15
] For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and
shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the
Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.[16
] And many of the children of Israel
shall he turn to the Lord their God.[
17] And
he shall
go before him in
the spirit and power of Elias
, to turn the
hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient
to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared
for the Lord.
[8] The lion's whelps have not
trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.
[9] He putteth forth his hand
upon the rock; he overturneth the mountains by the roots.
[10] He cutteth out rivers among
the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing.
[11] He bindeth the floods from
overflowing; and the thing that is hid bringeth he forth to light.
[12] But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the
place of understanding?
[13]
Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.
[14] The depth saith, It is
not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me.[15
] It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver
be weighed for the price thereof.
[16] It cannot be valued with
the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.
[17] The gold and the crystal
cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.
[18] No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls:
for the price of wisdom is above rubies.
[19]
The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure
gold.
[20] Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place
of understanding?
[21]
Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls
of the air.
[22] Destruction and death say,
We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.
[23] God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth
the place thereof.
[24]
For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven;
[25] To make the weight for
the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure.
[26] When he made a decree for
the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:
[27] Then did he see it, and
declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out.
[28] And unto man he said,
Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to
depart from evil is understanding.
