We are now in the third month of God called Sivan,

Esther 8:9, day 13

A short topic for today:

Today’s topic:

A world

where evil is good

and good is evil

Isa.5

[20] Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil;

that put darkness for light, and light for darkness;

that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

[21] Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

[22] Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:

[23] Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

Paul said:

Eph.2

[2] Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world,

according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

[3] Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Eph.4

[27] neither give place to the devil

Eph.5

[11] … have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them

[12] For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

[13] But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever does make manifest is light.

Eph.6

[12] For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but

against principalities,

against powers,

against the rulers of the darkness of this world,

against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Mal.2

[17] You have wearied Yehovah with your words.

Yet you say,

Wherein have we wearied him?

When you say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of Yehovah, and he delights in them; or,

Where is the God of judgment?

1 Cor.10

[20] …I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God:

and I would not that you should have fellowship with devils.

1 Pet.5

[8] Be sober, be vigilant;

because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour…

[9] Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Babel

Gen.11

[1] And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.

[2] And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

[3] And they said one to another,

Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly.

And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.

[4] And they said,

Go to, let us build us a city and a tower,

whose top may reach unto heaven;

and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

[5] And Yehovah came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.

[6] And Yehovah said,

Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language;

and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

[7] Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

[8] So Yehovah scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

[9] Therefore is the name of it called Babel;

because Yehovah did there confound the language of all the earth:

and from thence did Yehovah scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth

1 Corinthians 1:

[26] For you see your calling, brethren,

how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

[27] But God had chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise;

and God had chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

[28] And base things of the world, and things which are despised, had God chosen,

yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

[29] That no flesh should glory in His presence.

2 Cor.10

[17] But he that glories, let him glory in the Lord.

[18] For not he that commends himself is approved, but whom God commends.

Jer.9

[23] Thus said Yehovah,

Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,

neither let the mighty man glory in his might,

let not the rich man glory in his riches:

[24] But let him that gloried glory in this,

that he understands and knows Me, that

I am Yehovah which exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth:

for in these things I delight, said Yehovah.

Rev.12

[9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world…

Jas.4

[7] Submit yourselves therefore to God.

Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

2 Cor.11

[13] For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Messiah.

[14] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

[15] Therefore it is no great thing if Satan’s ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

The queen of heaven - not

Jer.7

[17] See you not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

[18] The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.

[19] Do they provoke me to anger? said Yehovah:

do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?

[20] Therefore thus said the Lord Yehovah;

Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.

Jer.44

[14] So that none of the remnant of Judah, which are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall escape or remain, that they should return into the land of Judah, to the which they have a desire to return to dwell there: for none shall return but such as shall escape.

[15] Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,

[16] As for the word that you hast spoken unto us in the name of Yehovahwe will not hearken unto you.

[17] But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem:

for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

[18] But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.

[19] And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?

[24] Moreover Jeremiah said unto all the people, and to all the women,

Hear the word of Yehovah, all Judah that are in the land of Egypt:

[25] Thus said Yehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, saying;

You and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying,

We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: you will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows

Rev. 18

[7] How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart,

I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

[8] Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire:

for strong is the Lord Yehoveh who judges her.

Isa.21

[9] And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen.

And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.

Rev.14

[8] And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication

In closing for now: Remember:

Eph.5

[11] And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness…

Rom.16

[20] And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.

The grace of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah be with you.  Amen.

Thanks for joining us, may God bless you
