Today’s topic
The Law
of Yehovah is
perfect
Below,
please find some verses pertaining to laws, feasts, commandments of God etc…
Yeshua
said:
Matt.5 [17] Think not that I am come to
destroy the law, or the prophets:
I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
[18] For verily I say unto you, Till
heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from
the law, till all be fulfilled.
Matt.7 [12] Therefore all things whatsoever
you would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and
the prophets.
Prov.6 [23] For the commandment is a lamp;
and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way
of life:
Prov.13 [14] The law of
the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
Prov.28 [4] They that
forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the
law contend with them.
[7] Whoso keeps the law is
a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father.
[9] He that turns away his ear from
hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
Prov.29 [18] Where there is
no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy
is he.
The 10 commandments are in:
[1] And God spoke all these words, saying,
[2] I am Yehovah your God, which have brought you out of the land of Egypt, out
of the house of bondage,
[3] You shall have no other gods before me.
2
[4] You shall not make unto you any graven
image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the
earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
[5] You shall not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I Yehovah your
God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children
unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
[6] And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my
commandments.
3
[7] You shall not take the name of Yehovah your
God in vain; for Yehovah will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in
vain.
4
[8] Remember the sabbath day, to keep it
holy.
[9] Six days shalt you labor, and do all your
work:
[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah your God: in it you shalt
not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your
maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates:
[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in
them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the Sabbath day,
and hallowed it.
5
[12] Honor your father and your mother: that your
days may be long upon the land which Yehovah your God gives you.
6
[13] You shall not kill.
7
[14] You shall not commit adultery.
8
[15 You shall not steal.
9
[16] You shall not bear false witness against
your neighbor.
10
[17] You shall not covet your neighbor’s
house, you shalt not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his
maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is your neighbor’s.
and Deut. 5, basically the same after 40
years
The Catholic version of the 10 Commandments differs from the
Biblical version in that the second commandment has been deleted and the fourth commandment has been changed to accommodate their Sunday,
which is the first day of the week…

Here are some other laws of God:
Lev.11 [1]
And Yehovah spoke
unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,[2] Speak unto the children of
Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts
that are on the earth.
Lev.12 [7] Who shall offer it before Yehovah,
and make an atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her
blood. This is the law for her that hath born a male or a female.
Lev.13 [59] This is the law of
the plague of leprosy in a garment of woollen or linen, either in the warp,
or woof, or any thing of skins, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it
unclean.
Lev.14 [2] This shall be the
law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto
the priest:
[54] This is the law for
all manner of plague of leprosy, and scall,
Lev.15 [32] This is the law of
him that hath an issue, and of him whose seed goeth from him, and is
defiled therewith;
Num.6 [13] And this is the
law of the Nazarite, when the days of his separation are fulfilled: he
shall be brought unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
Num.19 [14] This is the law, when
a man dies in a tent: all that come into the tent, and all that is in the
tent, shall be unclean seven days.
Deut.4 [44] And this is the
law which Moses set before the children of Israel:
1 John
3 - John told us:
[4] Whosoever commits sin
transgresses also the law:
for sin is the transgression of the law.
[8] He that commits sin is of
the devil;
for the devil sins from the beginning.
For
this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of
the devil.
Matt.12
[1] At that time Yeshua went
on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and
began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.
[2] But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, your
disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day. (the
Pharisees are wrong)
[3] But he said unto
them,
Have you not read what David
did, when he was an hungry, and they that were with him;
[4] How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the showbread,
which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only
for the priests?
[5] Or have
you not read in the law, how that on the Sabbath days
the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?
[6] But I say unto you, That in
this place is one greater than the temple.

Being perfect
Gen. 6:9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and
Noah walked with God.
Job.1[1] There was a man in the land of
Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God,
and eschewed evil.
Noah,
Daniel, and Job
Gen. 17:1
And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, Yehovah
appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk
before me, and be you perfect.
Jos. 24:14
Now therefore fear Yehovah, and serve him in sincerity and in truth:
and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood,
and in Egypt; and serve.
Ps. 18:30
… God, his way is perfect: the word of Yehovah is tried: he is a buckler to all those
that trust in him.
Prov. 11:20
They that are of a froward heart are abomination
to Yehovah: but
such as are upright in their way
are his delight.
Prov. 28:10
Whoso causes the righteous to go astray in an
evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright
shall have good things in possession.
18 -Whoso walks uprightly shall be
saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at
once.
Pss.19 - The law, the testimony, the
statutes, the commandment, the fear, and the judgments
[7]
The
law of Yehovah is perfect, converting the soul:
The
testimony of Yehovah is sure, making wise the simple.
[8]
The statutes of Yehovah are right, rejoicing the heart:
the
commandment of Yehovah is pure, enlightening the eyes.
[9]
The fear of Yehovah is clean, enduring for ever:
the
judgments of Yehovah are true and righteous altogether.
[10]
More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also
than honey and the honeycomb.
[11] Moreover by them is your servant warned: and in keeping of them there
is great reward.
[12]
Who can understand his errors? Cleanse you me from secret faults.
[13] Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not
have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from
the great transgression.
[14] Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be
acceptable in your sight, O Yehovah, my strength, and my redeemer.
Feasts
of Yehovah
Lev.23
[1]
And Yehovah spake
unto Moses, saying,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning
the feasts of Yehovah,
which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are My feasts.
[3]
Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an
holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.
[4]
These are the feasts of Yehovah, even holy convocations, which ye shall
proclaim in their seasons.
[5] In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the
Yehovah's Passover
[6] And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the
feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye
must eat unleavened bread.

servile work therein.
[8] But you shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah seven
days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: you shall do no servile work
therein.
[15] And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the
sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven
sabbaths shall be complete:
[16] Even unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall you number fifty
days; and you shall offer a new meat offering unto Yehovah.
