It is all about Belief and Faith , here are a few scriptures.

Acts.16 [ 31] And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. [32] And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

Faith

Heb.10[ 22] Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith , having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. [23 ] Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) [ 38] Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him

Heb.11 [1] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

[3] Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

[4] By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

[5] By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

[6] But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

[7] By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

[8] By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

[9] By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

[11] Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faith ful who had promised.

[13] These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

[17] By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,

[20] By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.

[21] By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.

[22] By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.

[23] By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.

[24] By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;

[27] By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

[28] Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

[29] By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.

[30] By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.

[31] By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

[33] Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,

[39] And these all, having obtained a good report through faith , received not the promise:

Rom.4

[1] What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?
[
2] For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
[
3] For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
[4] Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
[
5] But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
[6] Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
[
7] Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
[
8] Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
[
9] Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.
[
10] How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.
[
11] And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:
[
12] And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham , which he had being yet uncircumcised.
[
13] For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
[14] For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:
[
15] Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.
[
16] Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
[
17] (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
[
18] Who against hope believed in hope , that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
[
19] And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb:
[20] He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
[21] And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
[22] And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
[23] Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
[24] But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
[25] Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Unbelief

Do you stop the Hand of God by your unbelief?

Mark.6

[1] And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him.
[
2] And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
[
3] Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
[
4] But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.
[
5] And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

6] And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

[
15] Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.
[
16] And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
[17] Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.
[
18] And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
[
19] Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
[
20] And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed , ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
[21] Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

[
18] And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.
[
19] He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.
[
20] And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.
[
21] And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.
[
22] And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.
[23] Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
[24] And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
[25] When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.
[
26] And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.
[
27] But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.
[
28] And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?
[
29] And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

[20] Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, (Israel) and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: (Gentiles)
[
21] For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
[
22] Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

23] And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.

[13] But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Heb.4 [ 6] Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

[11] Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
