All
Welcome
-------------------------------
Let’s pray
Our
Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy
kingdom come,
Thy will be
done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us
this day our daily bread.
And
forgive us our debts, sins, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead
us not into temptation,
But
deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power,
and the glory, forever.
Amen

Today we
use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory, from the
1500’s
Today is
April 24th, 2010
----
God has
His own calendar
We are
now in the 2nd month of God, Ziv / Zif – 9th day
1 Kgs. 6 [1] And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after
the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year
of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to
build the house of Yehovah.
æÄå - ziv - brightness, (figuratively)
the month of flowers
***Make sure you change your Judaism calendars – The 2nd month
is not Iyyar as Judaism states,
it is Ziv.
--------------------
God's
Spring Calendar for 2010, these are the days left
Remember: There is one
extra Sabbath left, besides the 7th day Sabbath each week
------------
This is the third Sabbath of the seven Sabbaths we were told
to count.
We are counting the
"Sabbaths" not omers
An "omer"
is a "sheaf" of barley -òîø omer - A dry measure of 1/10 ephah (about 2 liters)
-------------
Lev.23 [15] And
ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath,
from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be complete:
[16] Even unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall ye
number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto Yehovah.
------------
3rd month of God, Sivan, and May 16th (starts sunset of May 15th)
------------
Feast of
Weeks / Pentecost is coming
Feast of Weeks, 50 - Pentecost - May 23th, 1st day of the week (Sunday), (starts
sunset May 22th) 8th of Sivan, 50 days from First Fruits - a Sabbath
*** This would make it 2
Sabbaths in a row
------------
Paul observing Pentecost / Feast of Weeks
Acts
2 [1] And
when the day of Pentecost / Feast of Weeks was
fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Acts 20 [16] For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he
would not spend the time in Asia: for he
hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost
/ Feast of Weeks.
1 Cor. 16 [8] But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost / Feast of Weeks.
------------------------------------
I
explain the Sabbath, the 7th day, each week
This
is how simple it is:
Exod. 20
[8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep
it holy.
[9] Six days shalt thou labour,
and do all thy work:
[10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah
thy God:
in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy
manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
[11] For in six days Yehovah
made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh
day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
------------
Deut. 5
[12] Keep the sabbath
day to sanctify it, as Yehovah thy God hath commanded
thee.
[13] Six days thou shalt labour,
and do all thy work:
[14] But the seventh day is the sabbath
of Yehovah thy God: in it thou shalt
not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor
thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine
ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is
within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest
as well as thou.
[15] And remember that thou wast
a servant in the land of Egypt, and that Yehovah
thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out
arm: therefore Yehovah
thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath
day.
------------
Lev. 23
[3] Six days shall work be done:
but
the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an holy convocation;
ye shall do no work therein:
it is the Sabbath of Yehovah in
all your dwellings.
--------
Isa. 58 [13] If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing
thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath
a delight, the holy of Yehovah, honourable;
and shalt honour him,
1 - not doing thine
own ways,
2 - nor finding thine
own pleasure,
3 - nor speaking thine
own words:
[14] Then shalt thou delight thyself in Yehovah; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high
places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Yehovah hath
spoken it.
------------------------
Buying
and selling is evil on the Sabbath
Neh. 13 [16] There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of
ware, and sold on the Sabbath unto the children
of Judah, and in Jerusalem.
[17] Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto
them, what evil thing is this that ye do, and
profane the Sabbath day?
------------------------
We read from law and the prophets every Sabbath
like they did in the Book of Acts
60 times in the Gospels
and letters it uses the word Sabbath!
--------------------
Let's
see what Yeshua, Paul and the Apostles did
on the Sabbath:
Acts 13 [13] Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos,
they came to Perga in Pamphylia:
and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem. [14] But when
they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and sat down. [15]
And after the reading of the law and the prophets the
rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of
exhortation for the people, say on.
----
Acts 15 [21] For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him,
being read in the synagogues every Sabbath day.
----
Luke 4 [16] And he, Yeshua came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up:
and, as his custom (prescribed by God's law)
was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and
stood up for to read. [17] And there was delivered unto him
the book of the prophet Esaias.
----
Acts 13: [27] For they
that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet
the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in
condemning him.
----
Acts 13 [42] And when
the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought
that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.
[44] And the next sabbath day came almost
the whole city together to hear the word of God.
----
First day of the Feast of Unleavened
Bread
Luke.
23 [56] And they returned, and
prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.
----
"Sabbath
in the future"
Yeshua said in Matt. 24 [20] But pray ye
that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the
Sabbath day
-------
Isa. 66 - A Sabbath, even after the new heavens and the new
earth are created
[22] For as the new heavens and the
new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith Yehovah, so shall your seed and
your name remain.
[23] And it shall come to pass,
that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall
all (new body) flesh come to worship before me, saith
Yehovah.
[24] And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me:
for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they
shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
-------------
Topic:
Are you
born again?
Are you
converted?
This may seem like a simple study however it is
the most important study.
Without being born again, converted,
you will not see the kingdom of God.
If people don't see you as a "new, converted" creature, you probably are not a new
creature but the old man or woman that you always were.
--------------------------------
Let's
review a few words first
Converted
G4762 στρέφω - strephō - stref'-o
Strengthened from the base
of G5157; to twist, that is, turn
quite around or reverse (literally or figuratively): - convert, turn
(again, back again (to a child), self, self
about). To turn, turn around, to turn one’s self , metaphorically to turn one’s self from
one’s course of conduct, i.e. to change one’s mind
G5157 - τροπή- tropē - trop-ay' - From an apparently primary word τρέπω trepō (to turn); a turn
(“trope”), that is, revolution - turning.
--------------
David says:
Pss. 51 [10] Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me.
[13] Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and
sinners shall be converted unto thee.
------------
Yeshua says:
Matt. 18 [3] And said, Verily I say unto
you, Except ye be converted, and become as little
children, ye shall not enter into the
kingdom of heaven.
------------
You should be able to make a
conscience list of the things you do in your new life
Here is a short list:
How
do you honor God?
How
do you speak to others?
How
do you treat people?
How
do you treat your brothers and sisters?
How
do you dress?
Where
do you like to go?
What
do you like to do?
What
type of people do you like to be around?
What
do you eat or drink?
Sounds like the 10 Commandments
The first 4 commandments tell you how
to treat God and the other 6 tell you how to treat your neighbor
-------------
Yeshua tells a Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a
ruler to be born again, born from above
John
3
[1] There was a man
of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
[2] The same came to Yeshua by night, and said unto him,
Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these
miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
[3]
Yeshua answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say
unto thee, Except a man be born again, he
cannot see the kingdom of God.
[4] Nicodemus saith unto him, How
can a man be born when he is old? can
he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
[5]
Yeshua answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
[6] That which is
born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born
of the Spirit is spirit.
[7] Marvel not that
I said unto thee, Ye
must be born again.
[8] The wind bloweth where it listeth,
and thou hearest the sound thereof, but
canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth:
so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
[9] Nicodemus
answered and said unto him, How
can these things be?
[10] Yeshua answered and said unto him,
Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these
things?
[11] Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we
have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
[12] If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye
believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
------------------------
Peter says:
1 Pet. 1
[22] Seeing ye have purified your
souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the
brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
[23]
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but
of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth
and abideth for ever.
------------------------
Are you a new creature, new man /
woman?
2 Cor. 5
[17] Therefore if any man be in Messiah, he is a new
creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
----
Eph. 4 [24] And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in
righteousness and true holiness.
----
Col. 3 [10] And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after
the image of him that created him:
------------------------
Here are a few new, converted people
Ruth, Rahab, Hittite and Peter
---------------
Ruth
Ruth 4 [16] And Ruth said,
Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from
following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest,
I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:
[17] Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I
be buried: Yehovah do so to me, and more also,
if ought but death part thee and me.
[18] When she saw
that she was stedfastly
minded to go with her, then she left speaking unto her.
Ruth 4
[13] So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he
went in unto her, Yehovah gave her conception, and
she bare a son.
[14] And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be Yehovah, which
hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in
Israel.
[15] And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age:
for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee,
which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him.
[16] And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became
nurse unto it.
[17] And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to
Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the
father of Jesse, the father of David.
[18] Now these are the generations of Pharez:
Pharez begat Hezron,
[19] And Hezron begat Ram, and Ram begat Amminadab,
[20] And Amminadab begat Nahshon,
and Nahshon begat Salmon,
[21] And Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed,
[22] And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat
David.

--------------
Rahab
[1]
And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim
two men to spy secretly, saying,
Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab,
and lodged there.
[3]
And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab,
saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the
country.
[17]
And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD:
only Rahab the harlot
shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the
messengers that we sent.
[23]
And the young men that were spies went in, and brought Rahab,
and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and
they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel.
[25]
And Joshua saved Rahab
the harlot alive, and her father's household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because
she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.
-------------
Yeshua tells Simon Peter:
Luke. 22 [31] And Yehovah said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired
to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
[32] But I have
prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when
thou art converted, strengthen thy
brethren.
-------------
Simon Peter is
now converted
He says:
[19] Repent ye
therefore, and be
converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of
refreshing shall come from the presence of Yehovah;
[20] And He (the
Father) shall send Yeshua the Messiah, which before
was preached unto you:
[21] Whom the
heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God
hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
------------
Paul writes to the Colossians
Col. 3
[1] If ye then be risen
with Messiah, seek those things which are above, where
Messiah sitteth on the right hand of God.
[2] Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
[3] For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Messiah in God.
[4] When Messiah, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also
appear with him in glory.
[5] Mortify therefore your members which
are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil
concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
[6] For which
things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
[7] In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
[8] But now ye also
put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of
your mouth.
[9] Lie not one to
another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
[10] And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after
the image of him that created him:
[11] Where there is
neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision,
Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Messiah is all, and in all.
[12] Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of
mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
[13] Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have
a quarrel against any: even as Messiah forgave you, so also do ye.
[14] And above all
these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
[15] And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be
ye thankful.
[16] Let the word of Messiah dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching
and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing
with grace in your hearts to Yehovah.
[17] And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the
Lord Yeshua, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
[18] Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in
the Lord.
[19] Husbands, love your wives, and be
not bitter against them.
[20] Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well
pleasing unto Lord.
[21] Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be
discouraged.
[22] Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh;
not with eyeservice, as menpleasers;
but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
[23] And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto
men;
[24] Knowing that of Yehovah ye shall receive the reward
of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord, Messiah.
[25] But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done:
and there is no respect of persons.
------------------------
All things are “New”
New flesh, body
-----------
1 Cor. 15 35] But some man will say, How are
the dead raised up? and with
what body do they come?
[36] Thou fool, that which thou sowest
is not quickened, except it die:
[37] And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that
body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other
grain:
[38] But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased
him, and to every seed his own body.
[39] All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of
men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
[40] There are also celestial bodies,
and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of
the terrestrial is another.
[41] There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and
another glory of the stars: for one star differeth
from another star in glory.
[42] So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption;
it is raised in incorruption:
[43] It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory:
it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
[44] It is sown a natural body; it is raised a
spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
[45] And so it is
written, The first man Adam was made
a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
[46] Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is
natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
[47] The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord
from heaven.
[48] As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the
heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
[49] And as we have borne the image of the earthy,
we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
[50] Now this I
say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither
doth corruption inherit incorruption.
[51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but
we shall all be changed,
[52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the
last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised
incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
[53]
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on
immortality.
[54] So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this
mortal shall have put on immortality, then
shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in
victory.
