This is how simple it is:
Exod. 20

hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!

sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for Yehovah will destroy this city. But he seemed as one
that mocked unto his sons in law.
[15] And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying,
Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be
consumed in the iniquity of the city.
[16] And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of
his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; Yehovah
being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the
city.
[17] And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that
he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee,
neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be
consumed.
[18] And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:
[19] Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou
hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed
unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil
take me, and I die:
[20] Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one:
Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.
[21] And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this
thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken.

escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till

[26] But his wife looked back from behind him, and
she became a pillar of salt.
[27] And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the
place where he stood before Yehovah:

the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke
of a furnace.
[29] And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain,
that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow,
when he overthrew the cities in the which
Lot dwelt.
[30] And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt
in the mountain, and his two
daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar:
and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.

unto Yehovah, with the silver and gold that he had
dedicated of all nations which he subdued;
[51] So was ended all the work that king Solomon
made for the house of Yehovah. And Solomon brought in
the things which David his father had dedicated; even the silver, and
the gold, and the vessels, did he put among the treasures of the house of Yehovah.

offerings, which he offered unto Yehovah, two and
twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and

and he went away from Jerusalem.
[11] Them also king David dedicated unto Yehovah,
with the silver and the gold that he brought from all these nations; from Edom,
and from Moab, and from the children of Ammon, and
from the Philistines, and from Amalek.
[20] And of the Levites, Ahijah
was over the treasures of the house of God, and over the treasures of the
dedicated things.
[26] Which Shelomith
and his brethren were over all the treasures of the dedicated things,
which David the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and
hundreds, and the captains of the host, had dedicated.
[27] Out of the spoils won in battles did they
dedicate to maintain the house of Yehovah.
[28] And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the
son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner,
and Joab the son of Zeruiah,

thing, it was under the hand of Shelomith, and
of his brethren.
[12] And the pattern of all that he had by the spirit, of the courts of the
house of Yehovah, and of all the chambers round
about, of the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries of the
dedicated things:
[4] Behold, I build an house to the name of Yehovah my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn
before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread,
and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths,
and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of Yehovah
our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.
[1] Thus all the work that Solomon made for the
house of Yehovah was finished: and Solomon brought in
all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and
the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of
God.
[5] And king
Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and an hundred and
twenty thousand sheep: so the king and all the people dedicated the
house of God.
[9] And in the eighth day they made a solemn
assembly: for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the
feast seven days.
[18] And he brought into the house of God the
things that his father had dedicated, and
that he himself had dedicated, silver, and gold, and vessels.
[7] For the sons of Athaliah,
that wicked woman, had broken up the house of God; and also all the dedicated
things of the house of Yehovah did they bestow upon Baalim.
[12] And brought in the offerings and the tithes
and the dedicated things faithfully: over which Cononiah
the Levite was ruler, and Shimei his brother was the
next.
[16] And the children of Israel, the priests,
and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the
dedication of this house of God with joy,
[17] And offered at the dedication of this
house of God an hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for
a sin offering for all Israel, twelve he goats, according to the number of the
tribes of Israel.
[27] And at the dedication of the wall of
Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to
Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with
thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.
[29] They shall eat the meat offering, and the
sin offering, and the trespass offering; and every dedicated thing in
Israel shall be theirs.
