Today we use the Gregorian calendar
(From Pope Gregory, from the 1500's) – Dec.
26th, 2009
----------
God has His own calendar
We are now in the 10th month of God called Teveth in Hebrew, 8th
day
--------------------------------------
How did you do after this pagan holiday? Hope you saved
some money, :-)
Remember: Beware of the false image of love and the
false feelings and emotions that run wild this time of the year.
Made-up feasts bring on loneliness,
depression and suicide and oh yes, debt.
People in the Spirit of God don’t “miss” pagan people,
things, places or stuff

Just for the record and your information:
Pagan Feasts – X MAS - Christmas
The following is a quote from the
Encyclopedia Brittanica, Volume 11
; page 390.
"During the later periods of Roman history,
sun worship gained in importance and ultimately led to what has been called a
'solar monotheism.' Nearly all the gods of the period were possessed of Solar qualities, and both Christ and Mithra
acquired the traits of solar seities.
The feast of Sol and Victus
(open unconquered Sun) on December 25th was celebrated with great joy, and
eventually this date was taken over by the so- called Christians as Christmas,
the birthday of Christ." !!
The so- called Christians were trying to get more
converts So they adapted a pagan holiday to their
worship to appease the pagans in 336 AD.
-----
The Encyclopaedia
Britannica reports that "The traditional
customs connected with Christmas have developed from several sources as a
result of the coincidence of the celebration of the birth of Christ with the
pagan agricultural and solar observations at midwinter.
In the Roman world the Saturnalia (December 17)
was a time of merrymaking and exchange of gifts, December 25 was also regarded
as the birth date of the Iranian mystery god Mithra,
the Sun of Righteousness."
----
Colliers Encyclopedia agrees. Quote: "After the triumph of Constantine, the church at Rome assigned
December 25 as the date for the celebration of the feast, possibly about A.D.
320 or 353.
By the end of the fourth century the whole so-
called Christian world was celebrating Christmas on that day, with the
exception of the Eastern churches, where it was celebrated on January 6.
The choice of December 25 was probably influenced
by the fact that on this day the Romans celebrated the Mithraic
feast of the Sun-god (natalis solis
invicti), and that the Saturnalia also came at this
time."
----
Both encyclopedias plainly reveal that the source of the celebration of December 25 is
the birthday of Mithra, the pagan sun god.
Sun worshippers since the time of Babel
recognized this time of year in honor of their gods.
1st century believers, taught personally by
Christ, did not celebrate His birthday. 2nd century theologians condemned the
thought.
Only after severe persecution, destruction and
inaccessibility of biblical scripture and the blending of pagan doctrine with the
worship of God was the Mithraic celebration of
December 25th proclaimed to be "Christian" in nature.
These facts are well documented. They can be
found in any encyclopedia and on the net. There is no way to "Christianize" the birthday of the sun god.
Anyone with access to a computer or encyclopedia
can know better than those from the past with theological degrees did!

Mithra
How
does one begin to explain the very important connection between Mithraism and
the paganizing of the true worship of God and His
only begotten Son?
To
begin with, Mithras was the sun god of the Persians and subsequent empires
including the Roman Empire through the 4th century. During the 4th century,
Mithras "mysteriously" vanished and Roman "Christianity"
began. A Christianity not like that of the 1st
century; but, a polluted, corrupt "Christianity" lacking few Mithraic rituals.
Mithras
was invoked in the inscriptions of the Biblical Artaxerxes,
king of Babylon: making Mithras one of the pagan gods that God had warned His
chosen people to beware of. Christ had come and defeated Satan by personally
paying repentant man’s death penalty for the transgression of God’s laws - the
penalty He, Himself, had established at the time of creation. And yet, in the
4th century, by way of a Satanic "if you can’t beat em
join em" deception, a blend of the worship of
God and the worship of pagan gods was officially proclaimed as
"Christianity" by the Roman Empire.
As
the gospel spread throughout the nations; and the persecution of true believers
proved to be ineffective, Satan, the author of confusion, began his final
assault on the truth - the truth that "sin is the transgression of the
law" and that the penalty is death.
The
celebrations including December 25th in honor of the rebirth of Mithras at the
winter solstice and Easter , the solar observance of
the spring equinox, attempted to void the 1st commandment in the name of
"Christianity".
The
graven images of the pagan deities, given "Christian" titles,
attempted to void the 2nd commandment. And the Sunday observance of "Deis Solis", the day of the sun attempted to void the
4th commandment. Attempted only, for Christ had proclaimed "till heaven
and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no
wise pass from the law."
----------
Sol Invictus
The
official recognition of sun worship in the Roman Empire began during the time
of Aurelian when he instituted the cult of "Sol invictus".
The cult of Sol Invictus and that of Mithra are virtually the same.
In
the year 307 A.D. Emperor Diocletian, a sun worshipper, was involved in the
dedication of a temple to Mithra and was responsible
for the burning of scripture which made it possible for later emperors to
formulate their own version of "Christianity."
After the rein of Diocletian, Emperor Constantine, while claiming to be a
Christian maintained the title "Pontifus Maximus" the high priest of paganism. His coins were
inscribed: "SOL INVICTO COMITI" (COMMITTED TO THE INVINCIBLE SUN).
During
his reign pagan sun worship was blended with the worship of the Creator, and
officially entitled "Christianity."
Cybele
the Phrygian goddess, known to her followers as "the mother of god",
was closely related to the worship of Mithra. As
Mithraism was a man’s religion, the worship of Cybele was practiced by the
women. The priests of Mithra were known as
"Fathers" and the Priestesses of Cybele as "Mothers."
After
baptism into the Mysteries of Mithra, the initiate
was marked on the forehead. The sign of the cross formed by the elliptic and
the celestial equator was one of the signs of Mithra.
Sunday
(Deis Solis), the day of the sun, was considered by Mithraist a sacred day of rest.
December
25th was celebrated as the birth of the sun, given birth by the "Queen of
Heaven" - "Mother of god."
The
Mithraists celebrated a mithraic
love feast. This feast consisted of loaves of bread decorated with crosses with
wine over which the priest pronounced a mystic formula.
Mithra was considered
mediator between god and man.
Mithraists also believed
in eternal life in heaven and in the torture of the wicked after death. Many of
these beliefs and rituals were exclusive to Mithraism and up until the fourth
century were not a part of the Christian faith. Only those in accordance with
the commandments of God could possibly be in honor of Christ.
In
the 4th century, through confusion and manipulation, rituals of "sun
worship" were pronounced, by the followers of Satan to be
"Christian" in nature.
There
is no Biblical support for the inclusion of Mithraic
ritual, which is the worship of Satan, in the worship of the God of Abraham,
Isaac and Jacob, the Creator of heaven and earth. It is a Satanic
scheme to disguise the transgression of God’s laws under the title of
"Christianity".
This
same system, characterized by the shrouding of truth in secrecy and the
manipulation of the truth in order to achieve its ends, has been working for
two millennia to combine paganism with Christianity.
I digress…

If you are wondering why I ask this
question to you so many times, the answer is because some people are always
trying to get around this commandment.
Question:
Why are we here today?
Answer:
We were told to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy
----------
The 4th Commandment is a part of the covenant given to us
at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month,
Sivan
We read from law and the prophets every Sabbath.
60 times in the
Gospels and letters it uses the word Sabbath
Ex. 20 [8] Remember
the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
æëø zâkar - zaw-kar'
- A primitive root; properly to mark (so as to be recognized),
that is, to remember; by implication to mention; make mention of, be mindful, recount, record (-er),
remember, make to be remembered, bring (call,
come, keep, put) to (in) remembrance, still, think on, well.

Back to Ex. 20
[9]
Six days shalt thou labour,
and do all thy work:
[10]
But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God:
in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son,
nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy
stranger that is within thy gates:
[11]
For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them
is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and
hallowed it.
Rev.1 [10] I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day - (The Sabbath)
-----------
Lev. 23 [3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an
"holy convocation"; ye shall do no work therein: it is the
Sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.
The Sabbath is a "holy
convocation"
î÷øà
miqra: convocation, convoking, reading, a calling together, sacred
assembly, something called out, that is, a public meeting (the
act, the persons, or the place); also a rehearsal
÷ãùÑ
kodesh: a sacred place or thing; consecrated, dedicated,

Today’s topic: The
difference between the spiritual and carnal person
Yeshua said:
John. 8 [43] Why do ye not understand my speech? even
because ye cannot hear my word.
-------------------
John 10
[1]
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not
by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some
other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
[2] But he that entereth in by the door is the
shepherd of the sheep.
[3]
To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth
his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
[4] And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
[5]
And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
[27]
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they
follow me:
-------------------
Ever wonder
why people don't hear you, understand you, they are not in the Spirit, they are
dead.
Paul (Saul) in
the Spirit
1 Cor. 2
[1]
And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you
the testimony of God.
[2]
For I determined not to know any thing among you,
save Yeshua the Messiah, and him
crucified.
[3]
And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
[4] And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in
demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
[5] That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in
the power of God.
[6] Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor
of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
[7]
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God
ordained before the world unto our glory:
[8]
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would
not have crucified the Lord of glory.
[9] But as it is written,
Eye
hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the
things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
Isa.64 [4] For since the beginning of the
world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen,
O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth
for him.
Back to 1 Cor. 2
[10]
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:
for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
[11]
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the
spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of
God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
[12]
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of
God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
[13]
Which things also we speak, not in the words which
man's wisdom teacheth, but which the
Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual
things with spiritual.
[14]
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the
Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither
can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
[15]
But he that is spiritual judgeth
all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
[16]
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have
the mind of Messiah.
---------------
1 Cor. 3
[1]
And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Messiah.
[2]
I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to
bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
[3]
For ye are yet carnal:
for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not
carnal, and walk as men?
[18]
Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth
to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
[19] For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written,
He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
[20] And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the
wise, that they are vain.
[21] Therefore let no man glory in men.
-------------------
Rom. 8
[1]
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Messiah Yeshua, who walk not after the
flesh, but after the Spirit.
[4] That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
[5]
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of
the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit
the things of the Spirit.
[6] For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
[7] Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not
subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
[8] So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
[9] But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell
in you.
Now
if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
[13]
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:
but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of
the body, ye shall live.
[14] For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the
sons of God.
--
[18]
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be
compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
[22]
For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
[23] And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits
of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the
adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
[24]
For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
[25] But if we hope for that we see not, then do we
with patience wait for it.
-------------
Luke 9 [62] And Jesus said unto him, No man,
having put his hand to the plough, and looking back,
is fit for the kingdom of God.
-------------
Luke 17
[26]
And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it
be also in the days of the Son of man.
[27] They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in
marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the
ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
[28] Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they
drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
[29] But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and
brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
[30] Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
[31] In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in
the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
[32] Remember Lot's
wife.
[33]
Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose
his life shall preserve it.
Heb.10 [39] But we are
not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to
the saving of the soul.
---------
Rev.3 [20] Behold, I stand at the door, and
knock: if any man hear my
voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him,
and he with me.
If any man or woman think himself or herself to be a prophet, or
spiritual,
let him and her
acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the
Lord
Keep your eyes on Yeshua
